Raine gets startled as she hears the howl, she jumps a bit before she goes back to work thinking someone of the wolf was hurt seeing how she lived in a wolf pack it must be normal.

However, as she goes to concentrate back to her work she cannot as suddenly her heart starts to beat fast for no reason, she frowns rubbing her chest a bit before dropping everything and making her way out of the room to see what the howl was about.

She looks around the hallways to find it empty she goes to turn back to her room but stops re-thinking on the howl as it were very sad and painful, so without another thought she walks around to find someone and ask what the howl meant.

She finds it strange when she finds the whole place empty as it was never such the case, because someone was always there around the corner doing something but no today, as it was eerily silent, a chill runs down her spine, which causes her to shiver as her feet moves faster not knowing what she was looking for.

She breathes in relief when she sees Warren walking in the hallway so she goes to call him but stops when she watches him wipe something on his clothes, so she looks carefully to find the object being some kind of dagger.

She finds it strange yet says nothing and let him walk away before she rushes to where he came from and it was none other than her mother's garden.

She frowns a bit, thinking if Warren killed some rat in the garden, she looks around the garden from the outside to see what was going on but finds nothing out of place before she goes to turn and halts in her step.

Raine slowly turns around and walks towards the garden, her eyes widen as she sees blood splattered on the ground before she walks deeper into the garden and she cannot even form a thought let alone scream when she finds her parents lying on the ground in a pool of their blood.

She shakes her head a few times thinking it was some kind of nightmare as it was not true, her parents, that was not her parents but when she pinches herself and yet cannot wake up her worst nightmare comes true.

"Papa, mom" she whispers calling them as she slowly makes her way towards them in shock.

Kneeling down she touches her father's leg first before hurrying to their body and shaking them, hoping they would just wake up but nothing, she finds nothing.

"Papa, please mom, please wake up, oh god please no," she whispers as she keeps shaking them violently not knowing what else to do.

She looks around the garden to find something to call someone but cannot find any strength to get up and leave them, she cannot even seem to shout for help or scream out.

Raine cannot help but just clutch her parents and cry her heart out, as she could not seem to be able to do anything.

"No, please I just found you; you cannot do this to me. Please Papa, you promised to go shopping with me and I have yet to show you how I can secure the place, you have not even seen what I am capable of doing...

Mom, who will make me cookies and milk, who will look after me when I work until late nights, please don't leave me...

I have not even given you any chance to be proud of me Papa, mom, please," she sobs crying her heart out.

"Mom, Papa" she keeps sobbing holding onto them before she looks around the place to go find someone.

"Advin, I will call Advin, he will save you" she speaks before getting up but she falls down as her knees gets weak but she tries once again before stopping when she realizes he was not around as he went to some mission along with every other male.

"Dev, no he is not here as well, what should I do?" she keeps talking to herself before she goes back to her parents and touches them.

"Blood" she murmurs as she stares at her parent's body and sees blood as if noticing just now.

She pulls the shirt out of her body and tries to clean the blood from her mother's face before doing the same to her father.

However, all she gets to do is get more blood on them, which brings a new set of tears in her eyes, frustrated she was not able to do anything she once again goes to look around for help.

"I will go find someone you, you just stay right here and I will be back with help" she talks with their dead bodies before she runs out of the garden.

She shouts for help as she runs from one hall to another but she finds no one, not one single soul was around to hear her cry of help.

The staffs of the house were all away to the market while the guards were stationed away from the Alpha's house to hear anything as Warren had made sure no one was in the house when he had planned his task carefully, except he forgot about the fact that Raine was in the house.

Frustrated that she could not find anyone in the house she rushes back to where her parents were, she kneels down near them before she tries to carry her parents to somewhere more comfortable, she cries, as she cannot find any strength to pull her parents apart as her father had a tight hold on her mother.

She sobs as she could not even try to move them away and seeing how her father had a hold on her mother just makes her sob ever harder.

"My phone" she talks as she runs towards her room this time to call for some help.

"Going somewhere Miracle?" Warren's voice halts her dead on her track.

"You...you" Raine stutters as she looks from him towards the body of her parents.

"Yes, me, me, your uncle, Miracle"

"You killed them" she accuses pointing her fingers his way.

"No I did not" he gasps in shock.

"No, I saw you walking out of here with a dagger in your hand and blood on it"

"Well in that case, I saw you killing them"

"What?" she asks in shock.

"Yes Miracle, you killed your own parents because you were angry at them"

"No"

"Oh yes, yes baby girl, you did. Don't you remember how angry and hurt you were when they threw you out of here, how your father chose your own mother's life instead of yours...

How he only calls Ariel his own daughter not you, you are the unwanted and unplanned child they never wanted...

"No" Raine whispers as all of the doubts she ever had comes at full force ten times stronger taking the air out of her lungs and she falls down with a thud.

"My poor, poor baby-girl, been used her whole life, no one to love her, now what will you do?

Without your hold on to the dragons you are no use to anyone and you are nobody," Warren whispers as he kneels down besides her and holds her chin.

"Kill them Miracle, kill them all. They have been using you all your life, they lied to you, pretended to love you...

I killed your parents who were playing games with you because I could not see them hurting and lying to you so much...

I made it easier for you, now kill him, your mate and kill every one of them who hurt you, who will not stop hurting you...

Hurt them back, your mate betrayed you for powers, show them how strong you are that you are not stupid, that you are someone they should not mess with...

Warren whispers as he slowly puts her shirt back on her body and hands her the dagger he used to kill her parents in her hands before walking away as his task was done and all that remained was to watch the show.

Raine stares at the dagger in her hands shivering as what Warren said rings in her ear, making her weak at what she learned.

She cannot stop but keep thinking back on everything from the day she met her mate till now, and all of their memories once happy turns into nothing but dark as she finds all of his smiles not sweet but mocking her.

All the promises he made turns nothing but poisonous before she turns to stare at her parent's body and her mind takes her back to the time when her father threw her out of the house.

Her ear rings with his words as how he said he only has one daughter.

Raine slowly gets up with shaken legs as her whole body starts to glow red and her marks appears stronger than ever, she walks out of the garden without looking at her parents face as nothing but rage and hurt covers her mind and body.

"My dragon" she slowly speaks walking without any destination with the dagger clutched tightly in her hand.

Raine walks out of the house still dazed and every word Warren said ringing in her ears, she stares above at the sky, which was turning dark just like her thoughts and heart.

A thunder rumbles at the far end of the forest and she makes her way towards it all the while whispering for her dragon.

"Murder" someone screams from inside of the house making her halt and turn back to find a woman shouting and screaming.

She cocks her head at a side hearing the woman shout as she runs towards Raine screaming about the Alpha's murder.

"The Alpha's, they are dead" the woman sobs clutching on to Raine's arms.

"Where were you all this time?" she asks slowly.

"I just came back from the market, please we should help"

"Do you know who did it?" she asks next; when the woman shakes her head no Raine smiles.

"I know...this did it" Raine smiles maniacally before she stabs the dragger in the woman's body who crumbles down with a gasp on the floor.

"Raine" one of the guards shouts as he watches her stabbing the woman before he rushes towards the scene.

Raine looks around the ground to find herself surrounded by the guards of the pack.

"What have you done?" one of the guards asks in shock seeing her hands dipped in blood as well her shirt covered in their Alphas blood.

"My dragon" she whispers as she turns back to walk towards the jungle but one of the guard's steps in front of her holds her in place.

"I am sorry Raine, you cannot leave. We will have to keep you on hold till we know who attacked our Alphas" the man states but Raine just smiles before she goes to attack him but the man seeing it coming grabs her wrists before throwing the dagger away from her hands.

Raine shouts in frustration before she kicks the man and attacks him seeing her loose her control more of the men tries to control her but fails as they all go flying.

The marks on Raine glows stronger shielding her from any attack and seeing it the man turns into their wolf form before they attack the girl.

Raine dodges each attack that comes her way as the wolf tries to snap her head or bite her.

When each of them comes at her way at once, she cannot protect herself before getting her bites and scratches here and there, which ignites her anger even more before she blasts them away from her.

The wolves go flying away from her some burned with her attack and some cannot even get up whining in pain before some turns back to their human form.

No one dares to attack her again seeing she was suddenly more powerful than they have ever fought with anyone.

"What are we to do now?" one of the men asks looking around the pack.

"I have informed the council, they are coming until one of them arrives we have to stop her from leaving the grounds" someone answers before once again they goes to attack Raine who herself was bleeding.

The air to the ground shifts a bit as a portal opens suddenly revealing few of the council members along with Devilin.

"What the fuck is going on in here?" Dante's loud voice gives the men around a relief as they know now that Dante was there they do not have to hurt Raine.

"Stalker?" Devilin calls out in shock seeing her all bloodied and hurt while the wolves surround her.

Raine smiles sweetly as she hears his voice and turns to face him but not before snapping the neck of the wolf that jumps in front of her, she laughs loudly as she throws its dead body on the ground near the men and smiles at her mate.

"Welcome home mate" she whispers before she runs his way to attack him.
