Devilin wraps one of his arms around Raine protecting her from the wind as his other hand was attached on Adrian and Scar's intertwined hands along with Raine.

"It hurts" Raine groans as her whole body was burning.

"I know, just a little bit, baby" Devilin grits the words out of his lips as he was not doing any good himself.

"What is happening?" she asks when the wind does not stop blowing while the flowers float in the air.

"I don't know, but I am sure we will find out soon" Devilin replies as he tries to look around him to find everyone running away from the place.

"I am scared" Raine's small voice breaks his heart so he pulls her closer to his body kissing the back of her head in assurance.

"No need to, I am right here with you"

Suddenly their moment is stopped as the lightening strikes right atop of them, both of them tries to look up squinting their eyes trying to see in all the petals and dust floating.

"Fuck" Devilin curses as his knees give away.

"Devilin" Raine's panic filled voice makes him stare at her before she points at the sky and just as he looks up a loud rumble is heard before the lightening strikes right on the four of them.

"No" Dante shouts trying to get near the four of them but Connor stands in front of him holding him back.

"Get out of my way Connor" Dante warns as he worries about the kids as well as his friends.

"No, something is happening there and you stepping there may cause problem so no one is walking out there until it's done" Connor states seriously trying to make them see the bigger part of everything.

"But the lightening struck right at them"

"They will be safe relax" Connor assures before he moves out of Dante's way.

Everyone holds their breath as they watch what was happening out there in the garden and the sight they see astounds them.

Two big dragons surround the four of them, as if protecting them from any harm. The bigger dragon looks up in the sky and roars loudly as if trying to pierce the sky through his voice.

Both the dragons then fly above the couples as they turn into nothing but a white light that glows to the point that it blinds everyone for a while before it come crashing down on both couples.

An eerie silence is followed as everything stops; all the petals lie down on the ground, the wind stops blowing and everyone watching the scenery holds their breath not understanding what exactly was happening.

"Did...did you just see that?" it was Devon's whisper that breaks the silence around them before everyone starts to murmur at what they witnessed.

Dante, Connor along with Rom and Ryan hurries to see how the couples were doing, what they see stuns them and all of them stand still.

"No"

"This...this cannot..."

"Impossible"

"I say it's a miracle" Dante grins before he is pushed away from his place when the twins jump in their father's arms.

"Da" Siran and Sirus shout at once as they hug their father who frowns a bit in confusion.

"What happened?" Adrian asks not knowing why each of his pack members were staring at him wide eyed and why his sons where a sobbing messes as well as why he was in a bed made of flowers.

"Okay, boys calm down, what happened?" Adrian asks as he looks around the garden to find everyone with tear-filled eyes.

"What did I miss?" he asks to no one as he consoles his sons.

"Your funeral"

"What?"

"Fuck you Adrian; we see you cannot even die properly huh?" Dante wipes his tears as he goes to pick up Scar who was looking around confused as well.

"Ho...Dante" she shrieks as he picks her up and twirls around in laughter.

"Oh Red, you scared the shit out of us" Dante cries in happiness before everyone cheers for the come back of their Alphas.

"Shit Warren" Adrian suddenly curses as he stares wide eyed at his mate having the urge to have her in his arms suddenly.

Dante sensing his friend's dilemma lets go of Scar and she walks to where Adrian along with their sons were. She softly touches both of her twin's hair and hugs them all before Ariel and Advin joins in.

"We want in the family hug as well," Advin comments, as he kisses his mother's cheek.

"Please never scare us like that" Ariel cannot help but cry once again holding onto her parents tightly.

"Raine" Adrian asks not seeing his little girl and that is when everyone's eyes searches for them, Raine and Devilin.

"Shit" Dante curses as he checks on them seeing how they were lying on the ground unconscious with Devilin atop Raine.

He breathes in relief when he finds both of them were breathing and they just fainted.

"Are they alright?" Adrian asks as he gets up from the bed and winces before he pulls his clothes away to find once again marks all over his arms and shoulder.

"Rain" Scar gasps as she feels a sudden ache in her body as well before they both glow a bit Adrian cannot help but stand by his mate's side.

"How?" she whisper asks as once again her body was full of marks as well a slight difference from the last time yet it was there.

"I don't know" Adrian replies as he kisses his mate's lips in relief that she was alive.

Devilin is the first to wake up from his slumber and he is not surprised to find himself in one of the room's in Martin's pack. He groans as his whole body aches and a dull throb is in his head.

Looking around he finds himself alone and then the worry begins, pulling his clothes in place he walks out of the door in search of his mate, on his way out he nearly crashes in to his twin and breathes in relief to find his brother.

"Where's Stalker?" Devilin asks at once, not giving Devon any chance to speak.

"In her room" he answers before Devilin storms off and Devon follows his brother.

"Bro, everyone is waiting for you in the living room, they said..."

"Well they can wait a little longer while I check on my mate, now do you mind?" Devilin asks a bit annoyed before Devon puts his hands in the air in surrender and walks away with a wink.

Being careful Devilin opens the door to his mate's room and enters to find her still asleep, he sighs in relief seeing her perfect face and thankful that someone was kind enough to clean her as well as change her clothes.

He slowly sits on the bed before pulling her clothes above her body and inspecting her for any injuries and once again thankful that there was none.

He puts her clothes back in place before he bites on his finger and blood oozes from the tip of his finger.

He slowly puts it near his mate's mouth and let the blood drop inside of her mouth just so she can heal fast even if there was no injury in the outer part of her body, yet he was not having any chances.

"Wake up soon" he murmurs kissing on her forehead and watching her sleep some more.

He keeps running his hands on the top of her head before slowly caressing her cheeks lightly as if not being able to keep his hands away from touching her.

"I am so mad at you mate, so very mad and you are going to hear about it all from me when you wake up so sleep well love...

You have made me feel so many emotions in just a few hours that I have never felt in my entire life. I will be right back and when you wake up and then we are going to have a long and serious conversation and what you did, which was so uncalled for after everything" he talks with her sleeping form before he drops kisses all over her face.

"I love you," he whispers in her ear before walking out of the room.

As he thought, Devilin finds Adrian along with his father and other council members waiting on him for explanation.

"Before anyone of you ask me anything all I have to say is I have no clue either how it was possible," Devilin states facing them.

"So you mean this has nothing to do with you?" Dante raises a brow not believing his son's words.

"I did not say so; I know it has to do with me and Stal...Raine but how it happened I do not know...

It was not me or Raine who summoned our dragons nor was it we, who asked them to do anything, we did not know it was even possible and I have no explanation as to why Adrian and Scar are alive even if I am happy for it, I have no clue how it happened"

Devilin speaks straight staring right in his father's eyes while Dante stares at his son's eyes to check if he was lying but when he sees nothing but honest truth Dante nods his head as to how Adrian and Scar were alive was a mystery one they will never know.

"Did Raine wake up?" Adrian asks seeing the tension in the air.

"No, but she will be up in a few moments. It will be better if you two were there for her as I am sure she will not be fine as the moments of the day returns to her and she might be too confused and lost" Devilin points out as he requests Adrian to go stay with Raine along with Scar.

Adrian smiles as he walks towards the boy and pats on his shoulder proudly.

"I am proud to know someone like you Devilin, you are not just a good warrior but you have proven time and again you have a god heart and soul and I cannot express how happy I am that my daughter has you as her mate...

Always thinking about her," Adrian grins as he hugs the boy and pats on his back in happiness as he takes his leave to go see his daughter.

"The twins are in our room, they will probably not leave it for quiet sometimes and Advin is with Jasmine and Blue explaining about the events to Jasmine and Blue is to not know about this incident...

Scar answers as she turns around and pecks her mate's lip softly before handing him the tray she had prepared for their younger daughter.

"If I was in her place I would have done the same, not wanting you out of my sight and you will never be" Adrian vows as he caresses her cheek making her go teary eyed.

God knows what mess Raine is in once she wakes up" Adrian smiles as they both walk towards Raine's room.

Opening the door slowly of their daughter's room they find Raine sitting in the bed staring at the wall. Adrian clears his throat trying to get her attention and when she turns to face them both her eyes widens as if not believing at what she was seeing.

"Papa, mom" she calls as she puts her hands out as if to touch them.

Seeing her whisper those words breaks his heart so he hurries towards her way before gathering her in his arms kissing her forehead.

"Right here, baby girl"

"I had a nightmare, I saw you two leaving us" she speaks as she holds her mother's hands tightly in hers scared they will disappear.

"Don't worry, it was just that a nightmare, we are right here, see" he smiles as he points from him to Scar who slides next to their daughter and caress her hair.

"Yes, so don't worry too much we will always be right here for you. To love and protect" Scar smiles promising her before Raine bursts into tears.

"I was so scared I thought I lost you two, when I just found you. I was scared I would never be able to see you again or tell you how much I love you too...

You do know that I do right, mom, papa I love you two very much" she hiccups while Scar wipes her tears away.

"Of course we know sweetie, now stop these tears, look what I got for you" Scar smiles as she asks Adrian to pass the tray, which he does.

"Thank you I was starving" Raine grins as she jumps in to eat everything on the tray before she looks at their way in guilt.

"Did you guys eat?" she asks which brings laughter around them.

"You asked too early sweetie, should have asked us tomorrow," Adrian teases putting the tray away from her.

"I like that idea, being with both of you everyday" she confesses a she hugs both her parents once again tightly before letting them go.

"Why don't you rest for a while, then we will think of someway to spend some more time together, may be a sleep over, just all of you kids and us?" he smiles as he pulls his mate along with him as they kiss her on her forehead asking her to rest some more.

"I like the sound of it, it will be fun" she grins before she lies down on the bed happily, that it was not real that he parents were still there with her and loving her.

"Why don't you go check on the twins see if they have slept or not" Adrian asks his mate, pushing her towards their room before he heads towards the kitchen to put the tray back.

"What is it?" Adrian asks once he is all alone and Devilin walks out to show himself.

"I lied to my father" he speaks the words and Adrian pauses for a second before turning around fully giving his attention to Devilin.

"Why don't we head to my study we will have more privacy in there?" Adrian points out with a smile as he asks the boy to follow him.

"Now what was it that you wanted to tell" Adrian asks once they are locked inside the room with no one around to hear them.

"I know how you are alive"

"I know Devilin but if you do not want to share it, it's okay"

"No, I...I did not want to tell any of this to anyone not even my father but it's not the same with you...

This must remain a secret between us as this is related to us"

"Okay go on, I will not lie I do want to know how Scar and I are alive"

"I...I mean do you remember the vision I saw of Raine's death well, after that Drag and I had a long talk...

Drag is the king of dragons, good thing he is mate to Miracle, Raine's dragon else he would not have ever helped us as he answers to no one but once Raine and Miracle accepted each other and bonded he was obligated to bond with me as well...

However, I am not his master we are equals. We found a way to save her" Devilin gulps at the last part and Adrian sits straight now intrigued.

"There is a way to save her if that ever happened; we could transport Miracle's soul in Raine if the time came"

"Devilin, no you did not..." Adrian growls at the outrageousness of the matter.

"We did not talk about it more but the thought was playing at the back of my mind. When Raine asked me to save you two, in anyway...well I was not thinking much...

I just could not see her in so much pain, so in the spur of the moment, I unlocked the portal's door and Drag understood my decision without me asking him or communicating with him...

It was all on his own that he made the decision, the thing about both of us, we cannot see our mate in pain not even a little bit, so seeing Raine in pain hurts Miracle and seeing them in pain is not something we deal with in a good way...

You and Scar have been the ones who were holding the legacy before I and Raine took your place so it was not much of a hard task...

Their soul is what saved you two and it is they resting in you that have yours and Scar's heart beating once again giving you a new life...

Now you two are truly soul mates in every sense" Devilin stops speaking as he finishes explaining before he waits for Adrian to say something on the matter, nervously.

"Do you have any idea what you have done Devilin?" Adrian asks shaking his head not knowing what to feel happy that he is alive or sad that someone else's life was gone because of him.

"It's not like they are dead, they live within you, as a part of you and even if it sounds crazy now I think this is for best" Devilin speaks once again which brings a new set of frowns on Adrian's face.

"What does that mean?"

"Now no one will come for Raine, to hurt to no one will now seek for any dragons wanting to harm them...

As now that it resides within you and Scar, they are finally safe without the worry that they have to hide away...

Even if they were safe in the dimension, they stayed, they were there out of their will and people who wanted to seek them to hurt and gain their powers were always frightening them leaving them no choice but to hide away from the world...

You are just another form of them, much stronger and powerful. Even if I gave him the clue, it was all his decision to sacrifice himself to save you and Scar and even if it sounds weird, I think its better this way...

Now this whole thing about getting them under control and using their powers may finally stop, you know. This craze of dragons may now finally come to an end...

Drag and I, we both know that no one is a better option than you who can keep them safe, forever. You are not just a good Alpha Adrian but a good man as well...

You already have mine as well as Drag's respect as to what you have done to our worlds, so thank you and I hope you can come to accept him as a part of you" Devilin requests sincerely which stuns Adrian.

"This is really fucked up you know?" Adrian sighs as he rubs his face trying to think straight.

"I know it's too much to handle after the day we all have gone through"

"You have no fucking idea," Adrian chuckles as he gets up from his chair and walks towards Devilin before patting on the boy's shoulder.

"Thank you for saving my mate's life along with mine, I am forever grateful to you and Drag for it...

I promise to take care of him and his mate as she resides inside Scar; also, you have my word this will remain between us, our secrets until the day I die...

Not one soul will know about this exchange, you and Drag have gone through a lot for my family so the least I can do is keep this secret" Adrian promises before they say their goodbye for the night.

Adrian walks inside of his room to find his boys soundly asleep in his bed before his eyes wonder around the room to find his mate watching their boys with a smile on her face as she is seated on a chair.

He picks her up making her yelp a bit in surprise before he walks out of their room.

"Rain, what are you doing? Put me down" Scar hits on his chest as she struggles in his arms.

"Hush love, you will wake the whole household and what can I not have some alone time with my mate and anyway just so you know I have not done enough inspecting of your whole body, head to toe to see for my own self that you are perfectly fine" he grins as he opens a door and walks in.
