Devilin types on his phone furiously as he stands in front of the fridge, he does not keep his eyes off the phone as he opens the fridge. Letting his eye slide just for a few seconds he pulls out a water bottle before, once again furiously tapping his phone.

He does not even notice his mate standing in front of him and watching as he stands with his eyes on his phone while he busily types with his one hand while he holds the water bottle in his other hand.

"Notice me" Raine's words go right through his ears as he steps away from her way with a sorry.

Raine holds the back of his shirt to stop him from walking away which finally breaks his concentration.

"What?" Devilin asks as he puts his phone away before looking at his mate whom he just noticed.

"Who were you sending those texts?" she asks pointing at the phone in his hand.

"No one" Devilin answers before he opens the water bottle and drinks directly from it.

"My parents are fine," she states not knowing what to say to him.

"Yeah, I saw them" he replies nonchalantly, which makes her shuffle a bit, nervously.

"Well they brought me dinner in my room"

"Okay"

"Did you eat?"

"Yeah"

"Umm, so where were you till now?" she asks slowly peeking from under her lashes before she stares at their feet.

"Busy"

"Oh, well uh, I was waiting for you to come see me'

"Why was there anything you need?" he asks coldly making her feel sad.

"Why do you sound not so happy seeing me?" she dares asks not understanding why he was acting so cold towards her.

"Do I have a reason to be happy seeing you?"

"Uh...that...are you angry with me?"

"No"

"Then why are you not asking me if I am okay or why did you not come see me"

"Seeing how you can walk on your own I am sure you are fine and as for not coming to see you, you were asleep"

"Devil, why are you talking like this with me, if you are angry then please tell me"

"I will be heading back to my place now"

"Goodbye" he whispers putting the bottle down as he turns back to leave her.

"Ah thank you for saving them" Raine's words halts his steps but he does not turn around to face her.

"If it makes any difference then can you please stay, I mean...I am sure if we talked about things then we can...

Not that I want to force you into being with me, if you are not happy with me, but...but we can try again right" she asks as she slowly moves to stand in front of him.

"I promise I will not lure shadow or make you do anything from my silly to-do list. I...I will not even..." Raine starts to sob as he just walks past her without letting her finish.

"Please don't leave me," she begs as she stands in the kitchen alone wiping her tears as it cannot stop falling down but he was too far away from her to come back.

Raine falls down on her knees as her sobs rack through her body, her loud sobs do not stop as she keeps crying clutching on to her necklace he gave her wishing she could take back everything she said to him before when she was not herself.

"Raine" Scar finds her crying on the floor before she walks towards her daughter.

"Mom, he left" Raine cries as her mother wraps her arms around Raine letting her baby girl cry her pain out.

"How is she?" Adrian's worry laced voice makes Scar sigh before she softly closes her daughter's room door and turns to face her man.

"Would have been better if he did not leave" Scar cannot help but scold him.

"She will be fine, I am sure" he sheepishly speaks as he goes to wrap his arms around her but she steps away from his reach.

"That's where you are wrong" Scar bitterly speaks walking away from him with a shake of her head.

"Hey, why are you bombing on me" Adrian asks offended and at those words Scar turns sharply his way poking her little finger on his chest in anger.

"Bombing on you? With the way I am thinking I will blast you with a missile, how could you let that happen to your own daughter one who has been nothing but hurt for the past few weeks and god knows how long...

Oh but you, how could you think she will be just fine, you Adrian Martin do not have a clue on how a girl feels when the man she loves leaves her...

You men are so heartless at times"

"You know I do not like when she is hurt and do not mix what happened between us at the start of our relation into this," he growls at her in warning not liking her shouting at him.

"Well spare me a moment as I seem to have been emotional seeing my daughter in such a heap of mess crying her heart out on the kitchen floor" she spats as she turns once again walking away from him.

"I do know how it feels when one has a heart break," Adrian shouts as well as he holds her arms and turns her arms around to face him.

"Then you should also know what marks it will leave on one's heart and that no one, especially your own kids should ever go through that pain...

You should have stopped him, you should have not let him walk away from her as he asked you to take care of her" Scar shouts equally angry at him as she was far to hurt with the men's actions that were the core center of her and her daughter's life.

Adrian softens the grasp he had on her before slowly his anger vanishes knowing well she was right; he cannot help but still defend their actions.

"It's for her own good"

"How would you know what's good for her and what's not did you two asked her personally before finalizing this decision for her?"

"It's not like he is gone for, forever"

"Well right now for our daughter he has gone from her life, for, forever. I can forgive you for what you did to me, leaving me all alone just after our first time together but not this" Scar looks at him with so much hurt that he bows his head down in shame.

"I am sorry..."

"Do not say those words lightly and as for now, till our daughter is back to her normal happy state, you are no longer welcomed in my bed" she finalizes as she walks away from him.

"Oh come on, where will I sleep, Scar you cannot do this to me"

"Why don't you go sleep with the boys, I am sure they are still scared far too much" she spats before banging the door in his face.

Raine tries to smile brightly or even laugh loudly as her siblings were but she could not even if the talks were funny.

They were all gathered in the living room, as their father promised to have a lazy day with no one but just the kids and their parents.

With junk food all around them and sharing the funny stories of their childhood and things they have gone through so they can know each other better and bond properly.

While Advin was sitting with his mate wrapped around in his arms, Ariel was with Blue as they were munching on the pizza, the twins have yet to leave their father's side while her mother was fussing over to pass them drinks and she was on the carpet wrapped in a feathery warm blanket.

"These two were so bad, always bullied me even if I was older than them" Jasmine's voice makes Raine look at the twins who grin proudly.

"Hey everything is fair in love, war and for food" the boys speak as they give each other a high-five.

"Mom, if Uncle Ran and Rus bully you again, do tell me I will tell my mate to kick them" Blue shouts as she stands from her place and glares at her uncles who pouts at their niece.

"It's okay baby, I have my own mate to protect me" Jasmine replies as she turns her head to kiss Advin on his lips.

"Yuck, see they are always like this, good thing I have already warned Eric no kisses" Blue sighs shaking her head before everyone bursts out laughing along with Raine except Advin who does not find it amusing.

"I think I should lock you up in your room and ban the boy to even enter our lands," he growls sourly.

"Whatever daddy, as long as I get to eat all the chocolates and ice-cream while being locked up I am a happy girl" Blue waves her hands uncaringly at her father's way who frowns.

"Life is not all about chocolates and ice-cream" Advin comments as he walks to pull his daughter in his arms as he kisses her forehead.

"You are a boy daddy; you will not understand these things. A girl has needs and if she needs a few chocolates and ice-cream it is all about that in her life" Blue replies as she pinches both his cheeks and moves from left to right before she starts to giggle as Advin tickles his daughter's stomach.

"You cheeky little troublemaker" Advin laughs as he throws his daughter up in the air before catching her once again.

"What's gotten into you? Why so silent?" Siran asks as he kicks Raine on her leg.

"Because of your ugly face" she grumbles putting her feet back inside of the blanket before the twin grin evilly her way.

With a swift move, they both go grab Raine, Siran holds her shoulder while Sirus holds her legs as she was still wrapped up in the blanket and starts to swing her.

"You idiots, let go of me" Raine shouts as she struggles to get away from them but as her hands and legs are inside of the blanket it was hard for her to do so.

"Papa" Raine shouts for help but Adrian just grins and watches his kids.

"Now who is ugly?" the boys ask as they throw her body up in the air as Advin did with his daughter.

"You rascals" she shrieks as she stares at the ceiling far too close for her liking as she is dropped down but thankfully, they catch her before she crashes on the floor.

"Take it back," they order but all she does is curse and scream at them.

"I will kill you both when I have my hands on you," she warns them as she finally pushes the blanket away and kicks them.

The boys laugh as they run away from her while she runs behind them to catch and beat them.

"Catch us if you can" they taunt her and Raine screams in frustration as they were far too fast for her.

"I will, Ariel help me catch these monsters and stop eating" Raine shouts but Ariel just smiles.

"Don't worry aunt Raine I will help you" Blue replies before she gets away from her father's arms and goes to stand and then does something with her hands as if doing magic.

"Statue" she shouts as she puts both of her hands in front of her and both of her uncles become statue.

"See that's how you do it" Blue grins before once again she runs into her father's arms who chuckles as he ruffles his girl's hair.

"Thanks blue" Raine grins before she kicks both her brother's ass and they fall down.

"Yay" Blue claps her hands as she sees her uncles crashing down and groaning.

"That was not fair Blue," the boys complain still on the ground.

"Stop teasing your sister then" Scar scolds her sons as she takes her seat.

"She was being such a sour face," Siran grumbles as he helps his brother to get up.

"Hey can we join too?" Eric's voice makes everyone turn to look at the door to find Devon and Eric standing in the doorway with a big smile.

"Yes, if you know the password" Blue grins as she looks at Eric's way excitedly.

"I got more chocolates for you" Eric grins as he shows the box in his hands and Blue goes flying his way from her father's arms.

"Yay...I love having a mate," she shouts as she takes the box away from his hands and runs once again back to her father's arms.

"That's awesome" Eric grins walking towards his mate's side but a growl from Advin make him turn his path and he goes to sit next to Raine.

"Hey"

"Hi" Raine greets him as Eric sits next to her.

"I tried to bring Devilin too but he was not interested," Eric whispers to her as he nods towards Devon making her already bad mood even worst.

Raine hums as she pulls the blanket up to her nose feeling sad and seeing Devon makes her heartache even more as his face reminds her of what she lost.

"Did you eat all of these?" Devon asks as he pulls his mate in between his legs and kisses her forehead.

"I could not help" Ariel pouts as she turns to peck him on his lips.

"It's okay"

"No, I will soon look like a big house"

"In that case, more of you to love" his grin widens as she giggles.

"Air, is there something we are missing?" Jasmine asks smiling widely her way and Ariel blushes realizing everyone was staring their way.

"Uh...well, we"

"Yes" Adrian asks as he sits a bit forward in his seat.

"Well, we wanted to wait a few more weeks actually before she shared the news"

"What news?"

"We are expecting a baby" she informs them and for a while no one moves or say anything before Adrian jumps right from his seat and hugs his daughter happily.

"Oh sweetheart, that's superb news," he hollers before he turns towards Scar with a wide grin.

"We are going to be grand parents," he states in happiness.

"But Papa, you already are grand parents to me, don't be stupid" Blue sighs as she waves her chocolates filled hands in air.

"Yes, I know sweetie but we are going to have one more grandchild in the family"

"I do not like the sound of it" she narrows her eyes making them laugh.

"Don't worry baby girl no one will take away your place"

"Promise"

"Pinky promise" Adrian smiles picking up Blue as he lends a kiss on her forehead.

"Congratulations" Raine meekly speaks as she shows them two thumbs up.

"Thanks you" Ariel and Devon smiles her way.

Raine hides her face completely in the blanket as their smile turns a bit sad letting her know they know about her problems with Devilin. Now, she was not okay at all.

"What's up with you?" Eric nudges her a bit.

"Nothing" Raine grumbles turning away from him.

"Okay then, well have you two seen my mother?" Eric asks as he looks around the room for an answer.

"Erika...no, why" Adrian replies as he shrugs his shoulder.

"Well did she not join you all in here a few days ago when you women gathered?" he asks as he tries to remember if she said she was going to some other place.

"No, actually now that you asked I have not seen her and she did not even join us last time even if she was supposed to be here...

Do you think she is in some trouble?" Scar asks a bit worried with everything going on for the past few days it was a bit suspicious for Erika not being around.

"Nah, it's my mom we are talking about I am sure she is fine wherever she is. She tends to get lost for a few days, so it's normal," Eric waves Scar's worry aside.

"Okay, if you say so" Scar smiles before she stares at her mate still a bit worried while Adrian smiles in assurance.
