"Fuck" Gio curses as he hears the crack of bone and let's go of the boy and steps away.

"You okay?" he asks the boy who glares at Gio in anger as his arm was twisted badly.

"I take it as a no" Gio grins as he calls someone to take the boy to the medical room.

"Who is next?" Gio shouts and watches as a few of the new intruders step back.

"Oh come on" he throws his arms up in the sky before asking them to fight with each other and train.

"Where were you?" Gio asks as he finds Devilin walking towards the area.

"Sorry" Devilin states as he looks around the ground.

"Sorry? Dude you were supposed to help me train them, remember?" Gio asks as he slaps on Devilin's naked back.

"I know, but you seem to doing fine on your own," he points out towards the man holding on his arm.

"A little accident, I took the training seriously" he sheepishly smiles.

"Little accidents are more dangerous sometimes," Devilin warns him before he goes to work out himself.

"Well can I use the bathroom while you are looking around?" Gio shouts at Devilin.

"Why? You never had any problems using a tree before" Devilin shoots back making Gio frown.

"I am a little shy when it comes to showing my dick to new bees"

"You sound like your father" Devilin grumbles as he waves his hands around for him to go.

"Miracle did not let you get inside of her last night?" Gio comments as he runs out of there laughing while Devilin growls at him.

"New uncle" Blue's voice makes Devilin stop in his tracks.

"Blue, what are you doing here?" he asks in confusion seeing the girl walking towards the training ground with her doll in her hand.

"I came with dad, have you seen my mate?" the little girl asks as she stares at the weapons around with wide eyes.

"Eric? No and you should not be here" he states as he picks the girl up but she fusses in his arms and does not stop until he let her go.

"Why?" she asks as she asks him to hold her doll.

"Because this place is not for a little girl like you"

"Well I am not little any more mommy says I will be eighteen soon like in fourteen years and everything I do, will be legal" she replies going to touch one of the bows but he pulls her away.

"Blue, this is a no place for you, come now" he states pulling the girl away from the pointed weapons but just as he pulls her she goes to hold the arrow and cuts her hand.

Blue screams in pain as blood runs from her hand and Devilin winces, he hisses as he kneels in front of the girl and tries to check on her wound but fails miserable as she starts to cry his ear off screaming loudly clutching her hand.

"Blue, Ssh little girl let me check on your wounds"

"It hurts, I will die," she cries loudly.

"No you will not, let me check on your hand first"

"Mommy" she keeps crying not letting him check on her wound.

"Blue please..." Devilin tries once again but is pushed away when out of nowhere Eric appears.

"Blue, mate what is it. What happened, why are you crying?" Eric asks as he holds the girl in his arms.

"Eric, I am going to die" the girl cries finally showing her wounds as blood oozes from her hand.

"I will kill you," Eric hisses as he accusingly glares at Devilin who rubs the back of his head.

"I was just..." he goes to defend but shuts up thinking better of it.

"Don't cry baby girl, I will save you...let's take you to the doctor okay" Eric speaks as he wraps his handkerchief around the girl's hand to control the bleeding.

"No, I hate injections" the girl refuses.

"I will break their hands if they tried to give you injections now come on" he tries to calm her as he carries her and rushes towards the medical room.

Devilin, not knowing what else to do, orders the men to keep practicing before he follows the couple.

"I will never talk with you, you are so bad," Blue cries as she stares at Devilin with tear-filled eyes making the man gulp.

"Blue don't cry mate, you will make me cry as well," Eric pouts as he wipes her tears and checks on her wound while waiting for the nurse to hurry up.

When her bleeding does not stop Eric sighs, pulls the cloth away from her wound and starts to lick it as she complains it hurts, he licks the wound to heal it or the least to stop the pain.

"Um...do you even need my help?" one of the nurses asks as she finds Eric licking the girl's wound.

"No" Eric whispers as he let go of Blue's hand and smiles.

"Wah, it stopped hurting," Blue stares at him wide-eyed in awe.

"I am so glad it did" Eric keeps smiling shaking his head a bit.

"You are my hero" Blue shouts in happiness as she hugs him but shrieks as they both falls down from their sitting position.

Devilin with his quick moves jumps in to action and holds both of them in time before they fall down on the ground.

"Eric" Devilin shouts the man's name, as he does not move.

Checking on his nerve Devilin curses before shouting for the nurse to get a doctor. He puts Blue aside before carrying Eric's body to an empty bed and once again shouting for a doctor.

"What is happening?" Blue asks with wide eyes as she goes to touch Eric but Devilin holds the girl away.

"Blue, don't touch him" Devilin warns the girl who looks his way in confusion.

"Why not?" she asks with a frown not understanding what was happening.

"It seems he has a very bad fever and it may transmit to you" Devilin smiles sadly, as he carries the girl and steps aside just as one of the doctors enters the room.

"How is he?" Raine asks as she touches Devilin's shoulder.

"He is not responding to any medical treatments," Devilin sighs as he hugs her close to him.

"Where is Blue?" he asks next looking around for the girl who had refused to leave Eric's side.

"I put her to bed, she was not ready to leave the grounds and Advin has gone home to bring Jasmine so she can talk with Blue about going back home"

"This is so fucked up" Devilin sighs as he rubs his face tiredly.

"Are they sure about it?"

"Yes, it seems Blue's blood is like a poison to him"

"But how can that happen?" Raine asks worried about it all.

"I guess it has something to do with your bloodline; Eric's body is not accepting Blue's blood...

It is reacting against it, just as it did when one of the mandrakes attacked Erika when she was pregnant with Engel...

Fuck they are mates," Devilin curses once again not understanding the cruelty of fate.

"What will we do now?" Raine asks as she cannot help but cry for the fate her little niece and Eric had.

"I have no fucking idea; it's messing with my head ever since I heard it. I knew something was wrong when he collapsed just as he finished cleaning her wound but this is just..." Devilin stops talking as he sees Blue standing near them.

"I think I want to go home now," Blue mumbles pulling on Raine's clothes.

"Blue" Devilin kneels in front of the girl knowing she heard them all.

"He will not die right?" she sniffs wiping her tears and Devilin cannot help but pull her into his arms.

"No he will not die"

"Does this mean I cannot see him again?" she asks him holding onto the back of his shirt.

"Of course you can see him sweetheart, it's just that..."

"But he is sick because of me"

"No, no honey"

"I like him, I don't want to not see him," she sobs and Devilin cannot do anything but hold the girl in his arms.

"Hey" Advin yawns as he slowly shuts the car door putting his daughter in.

"You sure you can drive back properly?" Devilin asks his friend seeing the man was hardly awake.

"Yeah, don't worry. Thanks for looking after her, was she crying too much?" he asks pointing at his daughter.

"Yeah, she blames herself for his condition"

"Fuck, this is not what I wanted in my life right now" Advin curses as he rubs the back of his neck.

"Too bad, you will have to be the one to look after her and help her through it all"

"Of all the people in the world does it really have to be my baby girl? She is just three man and already heartbroken and I cannot even break Eric's jaw for doing so as it's not even his fault" Advin grumbles as all the sleep leaves his body thinking of the situation they have got now.

"Life sucks like this"

"God-damn, this cursed bloodline" Advin curses before he gets in the driver side and turns the engine on.

"What are you thinking?" Raine asks as she wraps her arms around Devilin from behind and kisses his back.

"About the cursed blood we have in our family, I wonder how many of the kids will be victims of this and how will they overcome this...

I am scared of the future and what it holds for everyone," Devilin answers as he holds his mate's hand and squeezes it.

"I have the perfect solution" she replies stepping in front of him.

"And what might that be?" he asks curiously.

"How about we never mate, we can always adopt, prefect solution, no babies no worries about their future" she smiles his way.

"Yeah but I am too greedy when it comes to you, I want everything with you, our kids, their future, good and bad, everything"

"Well then problem solved, we will stand by their side and help them when their cursed blood will make them feel helpless, we will help them overcome their weakness and turn that into their strength"

"And how will we do that?"

"With love, so much that they will never have any doubts in themselves" Raine finalizes making him pull her into his body.

"With love" he whispers kissing her forehead as they stare at the dark sky.

Both of the couple walks back inside of the building, while Raine leaves to go check on a few things Devilin makes his way towards the room he is staying in for the time being while most of the people in charge of the faculty were busy.

"Hey" Devilin shouts as he finds someone sneaking out of his room.

"What are you doing coming out of my room?" he asks the man who gulps as he steps away from Devilin.

"I was actually waiting for you"

"Oh yeah and how did you get in when it was locked?" Devilin asks with a raise of his brow.

"It was not locked actually" the man replies which brings a new set of frowns to Devilin's eye so he goes to check on his lock to find it broken.

"How can I believe that you did not break in?" Devilin asks the man who looks around suspiciously.

"Actually, I came to report to you about the activities going on in this place" the man whispers.

"Follow me" Devilin sighs as he walks away from the room along with the man.

Both of them end up standing in Raine's room along with her to hear what the man has to say.

"Ignore the décor" Raine smiles seeing the man stare at her walls and bed sheets in shock which still had her mate's face and body's pictures all over.

It may seem normal to her but she knows it was still a questionable thing in other's eyes.

"Few of the newbies have been trespassing"

"Where?"

"Around the border areas, they have been warned still a few of them have been seen lingering and few weapons are being missed" the man informs.

"Fine, we will look after this, good job," Devilin replies as he waits for the man to leave and when he does, he turns towards his mate.

"Missing weapons?" he asks with a raised brow towards her and she sheepishly smiles his way.

"I just wanted to see what they will do"

"May I know which weapons went missing?" he sighs as he goes to walk out of the door but she jumps a top him.

"But you just got in"

"Stalker this needs serious enquiry"

"Do it later, enquiry me now" she pouts not letting him go.

"Later promise, now let go" he smiles as he picks her up and walks towards her office.

"I hate this," she grumbles before she shows the footage of someone breaking in the weapon area and taking a few of the weapons.

Devilin hits the emergency button and the silencer goes off as he has seen enough. He kisses Raine's forehead when she turns towards him in question.

"What happened?" Rom asks as he along with men gather in the grounds.

"Some of the weapons have gone missing" Devilin announces to answer everyone's question as he looks around.

"Everyone's room will be inspected for it and I want everyone to co-operate, even mine will be inspected as well," he adds before he along with a few of the men checks each room in the faculty grounds.

"What about the CCTV's around the room? Did you check that?" Rom questions as he walks out of one of the rooms.

"The CCTV's were messed up by someone, you know how easy it has been to mess the technical things these days" Devilin replies straight.

"Where is Raine?" Rom grumbles even as he makes his way towards her room.

"Before you shout at me I did put the complaint in that the cameras in the weapons room has been acting weird for the last couple of days and no one has been active enough to check it through" Raine defends herself.

"Well what are the items that have gone missing?" Gio sighs as he rubs his face while Rom takes a seat tiredly.

"I have been running a check on stock to find out which weapons are lost seeing how there were not just a few" she shrugs her shoulder turning around to face her computer.

"That will take ages" Rom yawns as he gets up from the seat.

"Yeah but you are not the one who will have to stay all night" Raine teases him.

"Shut up Raine, this would not have happened if you had made sure the security around the room was tight," Rom snaps at her.

"Watch it," Devilin warns Rom who glares at him instead.

"Whatever, make sure I have the report on the missing items first thing tomorrow morning" Rom orders as he walks out of the room in annoyance.

"Did you find something?" Gio asks as he goes to follow his father as well.

"No, we checked everyone's room and could not find anything," Devilin answers before he goes to open the door for Gio who chuckles.

"I am leaving no need to hurry" he waves towards the couple as he walks out of the room and Devilin locks down the room.

"Can I keep it?" Raine pleads as soon as the door is locked.

"No"

"Please, it's my very first robbery" she demands.

"May I know what are you going to do with it?"

"I don't know may be tell our grandkids the story about how their great grandma sacrificed her safety and stole the weapons to protect the were-world?" she grins wiggling her brows his way.

"I like the idea of our grandkids some day" he smiles as he presses the shift delete button to delete the footage of the theft

Where his mate was clearly enjoying gathering most of the weapons and running out of there while throwing flying kisses, which he is sure were meant for him.

"Now no one will know it was you" he chuckles as she pulls his shirt to kiss his neck.

"But you know it was me"

"It will always be just me, so may I know where you have kept it hidden?" he asks enjoying her attention.

"Of course not, it's a secret" she grins as she let go of him and stands up before jumping in his arms.

"I know a way to make you scream out all of your secrets" he grins taking her inside of her room.

"Hmm, good thing I have lots of secrets hidden" she mischievously smiles as she throws kisses all over his face.
