Two Years Later

Scarlet hums to herself as she waters the flowers in her lovely garden enjoying the peace and the beautiful environment. She sighs happily, as she sees the flowers growing beautifully in her garden with a smile.

Her moment with her flowers ruined when someone splashes water on her making her shriek; she turns around to find the culprit and huffs.

"Ho...not funny" she scolds Dante who grins cheekily at her while she wipes off the water

Dante just shakes his head before drying her up with a flick of his fingers before walking up to where she was standing still mad at him.

"You know I cannot help myself," he confesses before opening his arms for a hug, which she cannot refuse

"Whatever makes you sleep at night" she laughs as he starts to tickle her sides as soon as she hugs him

"How have you been?" he asks as they settle down on the bench in the middle of the garden enjoying the sunset

"Good, so any reason for you to come visit me?" she asks him curiously and he just sighs putting his arms around her shoulder

"Just wanted to feel normal and I don't know anyone more normal than you" he smiles before squeezing her shoulder a bit

"Did something happen?" she asks him in worry as he rarely seeks her and it's always because something is bothering him

"Yes. Once again Adrian wins he is going to be grandfather before me" he pouts facing her and she smiles

"It's scary though," she confesses before turning away and looking straight ahead.

"Really, how so?" he asks her amused

"It's like just yesterday Rain and I, we were making babies and now it's our son who will be having a baby...

A new future awaits us and that's scary," she explains hoping he understood what she was trying to say

"You will be fine, I am sure. You have come so far with my help so I am sure you will make it through...

You will be a wonderful granny. Ughh...we are getting old" he makes a sour face making her laugh again

"I still cannot believe you make me say all of those horrible words, you are so bad" she frowns hitting in his chest lightly with her fist

"Those words sounded way better coming from your mouth than else's anyway" he points out as he pinches her nose making it go red

"I cannot believe time flew so fast" she sighs heavily once again facing him

"Yes, and still you remained the same naïve girl I met. You just make me fall for you again and again" he sighs sadly holding her hand to his chest making her blush

"Aha! I knew you two were having an affair behind Adrian's back," Erika shouts startling both of them as she jumps out of nowhere in front of them snapping pictures of them sitting intimately for evidence.

"And she succeeded in remaining the same annoying girl I met" Dante points out before he groans as Erika goes to slide in between Dante and Scar.

"We are not having an affair though," he adds an after thought

"Then why was her hand on your chest and you two were sitting so close in this secluded area...

If this were, a historical fiction this would have seen so controversial and Adrian would have called you out for it, but god for you it is not.

That's why, now I will blackmail both of you," Erika points out with a grin before she scrolls through her phone to check if she got good images

"Like I do not have enough dirt on you, try if you want it will not matter anyway" Dante shrugs his shoulder before easily taking her phone away from her hand and checking the pictures she had

"Send those to me too," he demands as he pulls out his own cell phone and passes it to her

"You really won't be blackmailed?" she asks him in hope and he just shakes his head no

"Fuck, okay Scar can I blackmail you?" she asks hopefully to Scarlet who just looks from Dante to Erika not knowing what to say

"Don't drag her in our game, she is innocent" Dante protests before he shifts on the bench to get more comfortable

"Anyway, I came to congratulate on your first grand child, jeez we are old" she sighs before walking along with Scar inside the house

"Thank you. Yes, it's kind of weird though but it's a good weird" Scar informs with a smile

"I would have totally been the first grandmother if only my daughter gave in to Gio," Erika complains

"I am sure they will come around" Scar tries to assure her

"Hope so" Erika nods

After spending some more time Dante takes his leave as he disappears from the grounds while Scar and Erika walks inside the house.

"Hey congrats on being daddy" Erika cheers as she sees Advin walking their way

"Thank you, so what are you two up to?" he asks surprised to see both of them together

"Not much, I totally ruined your mother's plan though, she was having an affair with Dante when I disturbed them" Erika explains just like that making Advin look at his mother in question

"We are not having an affair," Scar groans as Advin silently asks her if it was true

"Ya, ya keep telling yourself that but I won't believe it. Anyway, I need to meet Adrian so I can know where my son is; he has been MIA, bye for now" Erika waves at them before she leaves

"Don't listen to her, Dante and me; we both are happy with our own mates" Scar states in defense as soon as Erika is out of sight

"Relax mom, we all know how she is. Anyway, I came to ask you if you could take Jasmine for her routine check up tomorrow, as I need to head back to HP for few days" he requests of her and she accepts it before they part their ways.

Advin walks to his room, which he shares with his mate; he smiles as he finds her peacefully asleep.

However, as soon as he gets in the bed she senses him and snuggles closer to his warmth making him chuckle.

After everything happened two years ago, they have been inseparable. He had been doing everything within him to make her happy and fulfill her every desire.

Now that he was here, sharing a new life with his mate who not just made him the luckiest man in the world by accepting him and bringing him back from death, she also bestowed the most beautiful treasure upon him in the world, their unborn child.

Pulling her closer to him, he spoons her slightly rubbing her swollen belly. He cannot wait to meet his child when the right time comes.

"Ad" Jasmine moans turning around in the bed making him smile

"Right here, baby" he whispers as he slowly rubs her cheek when she opens her eyes

"When will you be leaving?" she asks him with a yawn

"Early morning, but will be back before dinner tomorrow" he replies kissing her hand lightly

"Okay, so did you find anything out about Blue?" she asks him once she is fully awake

For the past two years, they have been searching for the girl named Blue everywhere they could but they came up with nothing.

The name or her description Jasmine gave him matches no one and now that she was pregnant, she was more restless wanting to find the girl even more.

She was inconsolable at times regarding the girl but reminding her about the child growing inside her did the trick to calm her.

Advin, taking Dante's advice has been spending as much quality time with her as he can, except those times when he has to go report to the headquarters.

For now, Gio or Devilin was covering up for him but he knows that soon he will have to accept one of the missions.

He would not have to accept it, if he had taken the title of the Alpha from his father as soon as he mated but he refused to take it just yet. Moreover, his father was more than happy to look after the pack for a few more years.

Therefore, until and unless he was ready to take his birthright he will be serving the council as well the were-world.

"Ad" Jasmine shakes his shoulder to bring him back from his thoughts

"Oh, we still don't know anything about her. It seems the girl does not exist," he sadly informs her

"But how can that be?" Jasmine nibbles on her lower lip in worry

"Baby, relax we have been searching for the girl and if anything is found regarding her I will get on it...

Now, cheer up before our child feels your stress. Oh and Ariel is coming back home, finally" he informs her happily about his sister coming back home

"Oh that's lovely" Jasmine beams trying to forget about Blue for a while

"We will find her soon Jasmine, have a little faith" he assures kissing her forehead softly

"I hope so" she sighs snuggling closer to his arms

"You are back" Jasmine smiles as Advin enters the room looking tired

"It was a bad idea to drive so early and get back here before dinner," he groans as he walks to where she was sitting on the chair knitting before he lands a light kiss on her lips

"I have the bath ready for you," she informs him with a smile as she stops the knitting and gets up pulling him with her to the bathroom

"Now this is heaven," Advin groans as he gets in the tub while Jasmine sits between his bend legs and starts to soap him

After pampering him for a while both of them silently, share the bath.

"How was the check up?" he asks her as he pulls her hair away from her neck

"Everything is perfectly fine" she answers him with a giggle as his hand tickles her neck

"Have you thought about the names?" Advin asks as he drops little kisses at the back of his mate's neck

"No, not really, may be we could look at it together" she moans in delight.

"Hmm...good idea" he agrees as he keeps on kissing and biting on her neck.

"So, what was the call from HP about? Are you going to go back again?" she asks gently pushing his head away from her neck.

"No, not really, they just wanted to get some ideas on a few things" he smiles in assurance.

"So, did you find anything about Blue?" she asks hopeful about it.

"No, not actually, it seems the girl we are looking does not exist. I would have said you must have been hallucinating but the man in that diner you worked in also said he saw the girl with you, so...

Still, I gave out all the information regarding the girl but no one has any information on a girl named Blue with blue hair" he sadly informs her.

"I wonder where she is now; if it wasn't for her I don't think anyone could have known the mystery behind my pack's execution" she bites her lip in tension.

"Hey now, relax its good that we haven't found anything on her. I mean that gives us hope that she is somewhere alive right?" he tries to cheer her up with some hope.

"You are right, I am sure we will find her one day, I just hope soon because I really have a lot to thank her about" she smiles turning to face her mate.

"I too have few things I need to thank her about as well" he smiles cupping her face.

"So, where were we?" Jasmine wiggles her brow as her hands disappears under water making Advin growl in satisfaction.

Advin covers Jasmine's body with a thin blanket as she falls asleep. Pushing her hair away he kisses her temple before landing a kiss on her stomach where their kid is growing.

Silently, he gets out of the bed and walks to open the windows in his room to look out of the room. He sighs as he remembers why he was back at HP.

For now, Gio or Devilin will cover for him and take the tasks offered him as he refused to go to any missions leaving Jasmine's side while she was in such condition.

Even if there were many others as capable as him, this particular mission was a direct offer especially from the council.

This was one of those missions, they never discussed about to anyone and if they were caught, it was all on their own head and no one else.

Something big was happening it was obvious Dante was hiding few things and everyone knows until it was the last call he will not open his mouth, but for now all they can do is wait and see.

No one knows what the future holds but what they know is whatever is coming their way is something huge and they need to figure it out soon.

This time a lot was at stake, this time they were not small kids but grown ups along with their powers and this time each one had something much more important to protect.

Advin once again turns to stares at his sleeping mate and smile, this time he has his mate and baby on the way that will need his protection.

This time, he will not let anyone harm his family.
