it was my first day to my new school and i was lowkey kind of nervous. i'm only attending here because majority of my friends go here and i'm actually well known at this school so why not just transfer here ?

i use to live an hour away and would come here once in a while but it was never the same as seeing them everyday

i drive to school and park in the student parking lot and stare at the front entrance. here we go.

today's y/n first day at school and for the past week, everyone's been talking about her. We've been friends for 3 years and met on instagram cuz she lived about an hour away but not anymore. i get to see my best friend on the daily from now on.

Felix Wilde: today's y/n first day here huh?

Hollis: yup, it's gonna be so weird seeing her everyday at school now

felix : i know, instead of face timing her we actually like get to talk to her

i was nearby Hollis and Felix while they were talking about the new girl moving here. i don't get what the big deal is, she's just a normal girl why is everyone talking about her.

i soon see alejandro walking up to me

ale: you tired of hearing about that new girl every where we walk ?

i approach the steps and walk into the school. it's a fresh start now.

i see Hollis and Felix running up to me

i see him text in his phone and soon i hear ringtones in every direction

y/n: he works fast

person 1: party at hollis' house?

person 2: fuck yeah party tonight

i look at my phone

mattia: ale check this out— hollis is throwing her a party

ale: oh my god it's not even a big deal

we look at each other for bit

mattia: we still gonna go though right ?

ale: yeah we're still gonna go

i see hollis felix and devin walking around with a girl i've never seen before. i'm guessing that's y/n. she has dark brown hair, blue eyes, and a little bit of freckles on her cheeks. she looked about 5'5 and had a curvy body. i admit she's pretty but i still don't get what the big deal is. plus my girlfriend is 10x badder than her. speaking of my girlfriend..

Lexi: hey babyyy (she walks up to me and kisses me on the cheek)

to be honest i didn't like lexi that much. i only got with her because she's the hottest chick in the school.

hollis: 2nd period with me

felix: 4th period with me

y/n: thank god we have classes together

i say bye to felix and and hollis and walk with devin to first period. After the bell rings i see a tall guy with dark hair and a blonde girl walk into the classroom

devin: oh that's mattia. you've probably seen him on tik tok. that's his girlfriend lexi—between you and me i'm pretty sure he's cheating on her. not surprised.

mattia and lex sit in front of us and make out right in the middle of class

mattia and lexi both roll their eyes and turn around.

i walk to the front of the classroom to get the packet we were currently working on but lexi tried to trip me on the way

i walk back to my seat behind her and spit my gum in her hair

hollis: i heard you spit gum into Lexi's hair

i see a short boy with fluffy hair walk in and he sits at hollis and my table

kairi: hey new girl. i'm kairi

y/n: sup kairi im y/n

kairi: i heard you spit gum in lexi's hair. my best friend's dating her

y/n: your home boy's kinda a dick. lexi is too

kairi: mattia's not too bad

hollis: he's slept with half of the school

i sit with felix devin and hollis and noticed mattias group was only a few tables away

hollis: aye y/n you should stop by felix's and my football practice later. we have a game this friday, i also you want you to meet my dad

y/n: isnt your dad the soccer coach this year ?

felix: yeah coach jones is subbing for soccer but our new coach isn't so bad.

one of hollis and felix's teammates come up to our table

hollis: what's up trevor (he dabs him up) this is one my friends y/n. she transferred here today

trevor: aye holl you didn't tell me she was cute

y/n: wow hollis he's bold

hollis: watch it trevor (hollis is overprotective)

we hear what trevor said to y/n

lexi: she's not even that cute right mattia

i look at her smile

mattia: yeah she's eh

kairi: she's chill though

alejandro: you've talked to her ?

kairi: i have 2nd with her. she's lowkey funny

mattia: shes already overrated

kairi: you say that but y'all still going to their party aren't you?

lexi: i'm just going to see how boring it is

school just ended and i meet up with devin to go to the football field to watch felix and hollis practice. when we got there, all we heard was arguing

mattia: you football players had the field last time. it's our turn (they're remodeling the soccer field)

hollis: it's called a football field for a reason mattia. get. off. our. field.

all of the soccer and football players start talking over one another.

then i see hollis' dad walk in

coach (henry) jones: aye aye that's enough you guys (blows whistles)

mattia: coach i know you use to coach for football but it's our turn to use the field

hollis: but we're the ones who have a game this friday

alejandro: just practice tomorrow

felix : shut up alejandro

ale: whatchu you say?

felix: you heard me

they try charging at each other but their teammates held them back.

coach jones blew the whistle to calm everyone down and then notices me

coach jones: wait a damn minute.. y/n ?

y/n: (i walk up to the him and give him a side hug) hi mr. jones

henry: oh please you can call me henry. i'm so happy you're here. hollis has been talking about your arrival non stop

mattia: coach not you too (he groans)

y/n: how bout you guys flip a coin to see who gets the field ?

felix: we call tails

i grab a coin from my pocket and let henry flip it

henry: tails

the football players cheer and the soccer boys groan and walk away

i head to my car to go home to get ready for hollis' party tonight when i see two boys fighting in the parking lot

it was mattia and some random guy

guy: you dickhead you slept with my girlfriend

mattia: she wanted me bro. not your tiny ass dick

the guy throws a punch at mattia but he blocks it with this left arm and punches the guy with his right— knocking him over.

he turns and looks at me

mattia: enjoying the show ?

y/n: your right hook is weak (i continue walking to my car)

mattia: no it isn't

y/n: (i'm halfway in my car but i turn around and look at him) your lip's bleeding

he smirks at me and then i drive away

don't see why so many girls fawn over him— he's not all that.

i drive to hollis' house and it was already packed— it took me so long to find parking.

once i open the door i immediately smell weed and alcohol. time to party
