Matt POV
"What was that?" Claire questions getting close to my bedroom.
"It was nothing!" I answer rushing towards her.
Claire opens the door and gasps.
"Why is Frank Castle in your apartment?"
"It's c-complicated. Can you please not tell anyone." I plead, holding onto her arm.
She quickly snatches it away from me and backs up.
"I knew something was up Matt! You were acting all weird, why didn't you just tell me?"
"I didn't know how you'd react? I'm sorry Claire."
"How long is he gonna be staying with you?"
"About a month..."
"A month Matt! Are you crazy, what if someone finds out? You could lose your job!"
"I know, I know. He's already got it covered."
"What are you even doing here?!" Claire asks Frank.
"I'm just staying for a little while until I'm able to leave New York, but I need Matt's help." he answers.
Claire sighs and walks out of the room. I follow her out and close the door behind me.
"Matt, you better not get yourself in any trouble. There are people in this world who care about, who look up to you, whether that'd be you in the day or at night. You going around and keeping criminals in your home is going to dent your reputation." Claire scolds.
"I here you Claire, just please don't tell Foggy." I respond.
"Fine."
"Thanks Claire... I don't know where I'd be without you." I say with chuckle.
"Probably dead in a dumpster." She answers walking back to the front door.
She holds onto the handle and grips it tight before looking back at me. Her breath becomes unsteady and her heart rate grows faster by the second. She goes to turn the knob but suddenly stops.

"Claire...?" I question as I walk up to her.
She holds her hand up to block me from coming any closer.
"Be safe out there Matt. Your a good person and people don't want to see you get hurt..."
Claire opens the door and rushes out, slamming it behind her.
I stand there in silence for a moment, her words repeating in my mind over and over again.
"Red..."
