Matt's POV
I stand at the top of Josie's Bar listening to the people of Hell's Kitchen.
It was still pouring outside but the lightning and thunder had settled down a bit. The rain drenched the dull rusting roof.
'So much for don't be late.' I think taking off my helmet.
I sit down and let my legs dangle from off the edge of the building as I lay back.
Suddenly I hear heavy footsteps behind me. I quickly put my helmet back on and stand up to face them.
"So you finally arrived. About time, I was just about to leave." I say approaching them.
"I didn't think you'd come." They said, inching towards me.
The voice sounded familiar, it was comforting. The rumble of there voice scared me, making me jump.
I knew that voice- his voice from anywhere.
"F-Frank?"
"Hey Red."
"W-What're doing here?!" I shout clenching my fists.
Burning rage hissed through my body like a poisioness venom. It was like there was a volcano erupting in my stomach.
"I came to say that I'm sor-"
"You don't get to say you're sorry Frank! You could've told me you were going to leave."
"I know, I wasn't thinking right. I wanted to do the best for you but I ended up hurting you in the end."
Everytime he opened his mouth I got angrier.
"It doesn't matter now. Just...go, it was a mistake coming here."
"What?"
"Leave."
I turn away from him and start to walk away until he grabs onto my wrist. His grip tightens making me look back at him.
"Let go Frank."
"No."
"Frank, let go!" I hiccup, the tears rolling down cheeks.
"No! At least let me explain myself."

"Fine..." I say still crying.
He took a deep breath and let go of my wrist. He wiped the tears off of my face, stroking it lightly.
"Where did you go?"
"I left and took a plane to Canada. It was nice there; peaceful. But something didn't seem right, like something was missing. I tried to dismiss it; bury deep down inside me, but I couldn't."
"So what made you come back?"
"You. I couldn't say goodbye, but I knew leaving without saying anything to you would hurt worse."
"So why didn't you say anything, it would've saved you the pain."
"Because I knew if it were to come to that, I'd end up staying with you."
"You could've stayed with me or I could've left with you."
"I couldn't take you with me Red, this is your city. It's part of you. "
"So what now?"
"What do you mean?"
"Are you...going to stay?"
"Of course, that's why I came back. This city is a part of me and so are you. You also made realise something that I should've 2 months ago."
"What's that?"
"I love you."
My heart tightened when those words left his mouth. He grabbed my hand and grazed his thumb over my knuckles. Rain runs down my face to where my lips meet, letting me taste the cold drops.
Frank pushes his lips firmly against mine, putting his hands on each side of my face. I feel his smile against mine as I hugged him close.
In that moment I felt my more alive than I've ever had in a long time. In his arms I felt protected and in that very second I realised that I loved Frank Castle.
Till the very end...

The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.

Age of Regression
[Author's Thoughts] Dropped, obviously. Still, it's my first attempt at a novel and I do love what I did with it. Big step towards learning. Far in the past, there was a civilization much more advanced than the one of modern times. Evidence of that time remains, but it is all but shrouded in mystery as there remains no way to decipher it. Currently, normal individuals wage war with guns and smaller machinery, but those who can wield a higher power vary in their abilities. Scales, born upon humans, are a mystery in their origins but are the source of their abilities and their way towards advancement. Although normally powerless, humans have adapted to the scales and thus can connect with the power of the universe, much like the other races that inhabit its various corners. In one of these corners, there exists a human settlement where Lancing follows his father's footsteps to begin his own ascent to power. However, he finds he is far different from his gifted father, whose scales below his eyes were among the purest ever seen, reaching gem-like quality. Far from perfect, Lancing shows no desire to give up and ceaselessly moves forward to reach the peak of the universe. However, he begins to notice that the mysteries of the universe slowly begin to unravel in front of his eyes. To reach the heavens, Lancing must carve his own path.
