《Daredevil: Born Again》Chapter 9: Breaking Out

Frank Castle was tied up to a chair with blood dripping off his mouth. Directly across him was Bullseye, who was sighing. He grabbed a wrench from the table and struck Frank with it. After the pain passed, Frank chuckled a bit.
"I want to know where Murdock is. So if you answer me, I'll stop the beating." Bullseye said.
"Fuck... you." Frank laughed. He leaned back on his chair. "You'll get nothing from me."
"Oh I will get something from you." Bullseye got closer, "And that's the pleasure of beating the shit out of you."
"Should I be terrified or complimented because I can't understand where you're coming from." Frank said.
"You got some jokes... for a man who lost his family." Bullseye chuckled when Frank got angry, "Did I rattle your chains?"
"Let's see who's laughing once I break out of here you son of a bitch!" Frank shouted.
"Shut the hell up!" Bullseye turned around and shot Frank in the leg. Frank jumped a little as the blood started flowing down, "I'm going to kill you. I don't care if Fisk says to keep you alive."
"Tell Fisk to hunt Murdock himself. Because the guy he hired is a pussy." Frank chuckled.
"Ah..." Bullseye pointed his gun at Frank, "You are the type of asshole everyone wants to kill. That's the kind of meat I like."
"Really..." Frank acted surprise, "That seems to be the reason you're not killing me. You like to play with me."
"You should be dead by now." Bullseye leaned into Frank's ear, "But I want to know where the Devil is hiding."
"He's right..." Frank stopped when it seemed like Bullseye was listening, "Go fuck yourself you mindless shitbag."

"Fine!" Bullseye shouted and turned away. He walked towards one of his guards and ordered, "Torture him as you please."
After Bullseye was gone, two men came in with tasers and they looked like they were going to be busy with Frank.
"Try and touch me, assholes!" Frank shouted, closing his eyes for the pain to come.
Just in time, Matt came in and threw his batons at them. The baton bounced off the other and hit both of them. Matt grabbed it off the ground and Jessica followed behind him.
"Who's the chick, Red?" Frank smirked.
"Call me chick one more time and I'm going to stick a gun in your ass." Jessica scoffed.
"Friend." Matt sighed, removing the chains that tied Frank on the chair, "Bullseye left before I arrived."
"And how do you know that?" Jessica asked in annoyance.
"I can smell the fingerprints on the gun he used." Matt helped Frank walked. He placed Frank's hand over his shoulder and carried him. "Let's get moving."
"I'll lead the way." Jessica said, leaving the room.
Five men came running at the three of them and Matt tried his best to stay away. Jessica dodged their punches and threw them around like paper.
"The gun on his holster, I need it." Frank requested.
"Remember to say please next time." Jessica sarcastically said while handing the gun.
"Your one sassy ass bitch."
"That's not the first."
Three came around the corner but two of them went down when Frank shot them in the chest. Jessica knocked down the other one with the punch. Matt was getting tired with carrying Frank around but he knew he had to continue.
"Nice shot, Frank. Non-fatal." Matt muttered.

"You're here so why the hell not. I need some practice anyway." Frank chuckled.
Two skilled fighters went down the stairs and confronted them. One of them fought Jessica and the other came running at Matt and Frank. Matt threw Frank to the wall and fought with the man. Matt dodged most of the attacks but got pinned down to the wall. The man was trying to find a weak spot until Frank shot him in the chest.
"Lucky shot." Frank chuckled as Matt picked him up.
Jessica threw her man towards the ceiling and he fell back to the floor. They finally reached the surface and saw Micro in the distance. They walked towards the van and finally sighed when they got there.
"Micro. How did you find us?" Matt asked, placing Frank in the van.
"Cameras. Tracked the man here but I knew I couldn't fight my way in there." Micro said.
"Jess."
"What?" Jessica asked.
"Your arm."
Jessica looked at her arm and it had a slice from a knife. She held it with her hand and only noticed the burning.
"Drive us to my apartment."
Matt finished up sewing Jessica's wound on his bed. He brought her to his apartment since he had a more comfortable workspace than the van. Jessica sighed in relief but she knew the wound would heal after two days. Matt placed the first aid kit back in place and returned to Jessica.
"You're staying here." Matt sighed.
"I noticed." Jessica chuckled and shook her head, "You do know that you owe me a camera and a scarf?"
"And you owe me an apology."
"What do you want now?"
"For kissing me."
"I don't owe you shit." Jessica laid down on his bed.
"I'm staying in the couch." Matt walked away, "I could tell you prefer the bed more than me."
"Stop reading my mind or I'll be reading whatever the hell you're writing."
"Yeah..." Matt chuckled, "Try reading what a blind man reads. You'll have some fun."
"Or I'll be wasting my time."
"Get some sleep Jones." Matt laid on the couch.
Jessica watched Matt lay down and place his blanket over him. She sighed once more and faced the opposite direction.
"Smug bastard." She thought.
