i woke up this morning to a text from vanessa saying she wanted to meet up.

and all i could think is 'but why?'

in all honesty i don't know if i should answer her.

i must've read the message hundreds of times by now and she seems genuine.

but how do i approach the situation?

i press the instagram app icon and i go to her message so i can begin typing.

i think to myself, she wants to get coffee that's it.

and she's married.

so nothing will happen.

believe me i lost feelings a long time ago, but i don't know if i can trust her yet.

considering she cheated on me and all.

nevertheless i have a few hours before we are supposed to meet up and thea isn't here, she's at a photoshoot that should last all day.

but that also makes me wonder if i should tell her.

i guess i'll wait until i found out what it is vanessa wants to talk about.

"hey austin." she says and pulls me in for a hug which catches me off guard but i accept it.

"oh hey vanessa." i say and when we pull away she smiles.

"you look good, how's filming?" she asks.

"uh it's good, why don't we sit down?" i ask and she nods.

seconds before she walked into the cafe i had already had our coffees in my hand.

"i can't believe you remember my order." she gushes and i just give her a small smile.

"so what is it you wanted to talk about?" i ask and she sighs, looking away.

"i think i'll just cut to the chase, i miss you."

i think my breathing stops for a few seconds and i don't know what to say.

when i don't answer she laughs.

"i thought you were married." i grit out.

she waves her fingers and smiles, "that didn't last, he was boring." she replies and i scoff.

"i have a girlfriend."

she leans in and i can tell she's trying to be seductive.

"forget about her, i know you miss me." she whispers and i almost want to gag.

i lean back to get as far away from her as possible.

"no if anything vanessa i'd only want to be friend with you, you cheated on me and hurt me. i cant." o say and she frowns, leaning back.

"it was worth a try." she whispers and i can almost see red, no way she thought i was just going to go back to her that easily.

"i have to go." i bite and with that, i stand up and exit the cafe.

i'm currently doing some hair and makeup touch ups for my photoshoot when my phone dings, and a kind hairstylist hands it to me.

"thank you." i say with a smile and she nods, returning the gesture.

when i read the contact name it's a text from charlotte and i instantly smile.

but when i press on the text message i frown.

i press the link and my jaw nearly drops at the headline, i scroll down a bit and the tears form as i view the pictures.

hurt is what i'm feeling right now.

then comes a wave of betrayal.

i should've known and i should've stopped myself before we even got together.

because i knew it wouldn't have ended well.

the two were seen getting coffee at a small cafe in queensland australia, close to where austin has been filming his current movie.

it might've been a simple meet up, but after many people had seen vanessa getting close to austin and whispering things into his ear, they wondered if it meant more than that.

but what about austin's current girlfriend, althea girard?

and what is also sparking up others interests is that vanessa has been recently divorced meaning only one thing, that she's single.

before austin and vanessa had broken up they had been together for nearly a decade, many fans had been heartbroken.
