When we were talking about Asmara and my marriage,Mama and Shiza Aunty also joined us.

Mama said"Ahmed I have talked to Shiza.And Ali bhai we hope you will agree to this proposal."

Shiza aunty said "I also think the same she will surely be happy with Hashim,what you say Ali?"

"So everyone is happy with this? We will do nikkah on Ayesha's Mehndi?"Baba aunnounced.

"Of course we will do but I want to ask Hashim first.Are you comfortable with all this?"Shiza aunty questioned looking at me.

"I am ok aunty,you all are happy so I am more than comfortable but...Asmara?what about her?"I inquired hesitantly.

"She will accept it,I know my daughter.She can't refuse her baba's wish and she will definitly agree for what her brother liked for her."Uncle said.

"But she is still studying so am I...So how will she manage all this?"I asked.

"We will only do nikkah,no rukhsati so you both can live easily and get to know each other."Baba said looking towards Uncle.Uncle just nodded assuring him.

"Ok I am going to see Ayesha."I left from there.

I went to Ayesha's room but it was locked,she must be sleeping I thought.

I decided to freshen up because I was feeling strange.When I was heading towards my room,I saw guest room's light was on.I saw Asmara coming out of the room.

"Asalamoalaikum ."She said in a low tone.

She always called me bhai.What's all this? Now it is looking weird,she is calling me bhai and we are going to get married by next week.

"Hashim What happened?Is everything okay?"she asked in a tensed tone.

"Oh,yeah!sorry I was just zoned out!"I replied.

"Ok I am going,Baba Mama must be waiting.Allah Hafiz."she said with slight smile on her face and went downstairs.

Its 2:00 am and I am unable to sleep till now.I am just tossing and turning in bed.After one week I am going to be bound to a girl who calls me bhai.We never had any conversation.I am just her brother's friend and her Uncle's son.Will she accept or not?This question kept me restless.

I went to kitchen to drink some water."Woooo!"Ayesha yelled from behind.

"Stupid girl!I am not getting scared of your foolish acts."I told her.

"Oh big bro!why so serious?"she asked raising her eyebrow.

"I am tensed Ayesha...I don't know what I am feeling right now.I don't know how will she react?Will she accept?How this all is going to happen?Its all weird and strange.I know I agreed for marriage but how will I bring her back to life?She considers me as brother.I...am freaking 7 years elder to her.She is just a kid...a student...I am going to get mad."I said in a serious way.

"Don't panic Hashim.Everything will be alright.Allah brought you together,have faith and let everything go with the flow.She said calmly.

"And by the way my dear bhai jan! You are so lucky to have her.She is so cute and innocent and not to forget she is the prettiest young lady.You will look perfect together and she will not call you bhai anymore,don't take tension.She will call you hubby."she said emphasizing on word "hubby."

"Oh My Allah" she started laughing."You are blushing,what a rare sight to see." She said in between the laughs.

I slighty slapped her head"idiot,I will kill you...I am not blushing...stop your nonsense."

Allah!What type of sister she is?Always making me embarrass.I was thinking all this when she whispered near my ear."My bhabi is so pretty,if I were in your place I would have surely married her without even thinking twice,you would have never gotten this chance.Oh! I love her so much."And she started running away.

"Ayeshaaa!you idiot.I will kill you today for sure...stop...just stop here..."I said running after her.

"No Hashim...you can't kill me for loving your would be wife."She said mischievously and ran to her room.

"Devil!"

Coming back to room I laid down on the bed and Ayesha's words kept ringing in my mind.I slept thinking about my would be wife.
