Emma's POV

''okay then, you go, i will tell the boys,'' i sighed getting into the closet.

''are you sure it's okay?'' she asked, making me huff.

''yes, Abby! just go, and don't forget to wear something cute!'' i said and cut the call. Levi wanted to get her to school today, so she was informing me, so that we don't wait for her.

i threw my phone on the bed, and returned back to the closet. i chose a black jeans, and a white t-shirt. getting changed, my fingers involuntary touched the part where i despised the most. i shut my eyes close, and roamed my finger around my wound. it is on my abdominal, and it remembered me of things i hate to think about.

i looked at the mirror, and examined it. it was still as it was from when i got it-ugly, and even more ugly in my eyes. i closed my eyes as memories came back in my mind, making me shudder in disgust. anything about him makes me ill to my core, and i don't want to remember anything about him any more, but unfortunately forgetting isn't as easy as it seems. some things happen in the most unexpected time, by the most unexpected people, and by the time you start really understanding what they did to you, you would have lost enough time, and missed out a lot of things. but it's really funny, though. it's funny how life can throw us any where, and every where, but we would still stand on our foot, receiving it's bombs.

i shook my head, and started getting ready.

''yeah, and after that?'' i asked in excitement as Abby was telling me what happened today.

''he hugged me awkwardly, and it was very funny, that his ears got red!'' she spoke, making me almost piss on my pants.

''he is a sweetheart, do not ever leave him!'' i warned, as she smiled like a maniac while nodding her head.

''hello there, my beautiful girls!'' Carter said, as he came into my sight. he looked at Abby suspiciously, but she was in another land already.

''what is wrong with her?'' he whispered, while winking. i winked again, and whispered Levi back to him. understanding, he let out an exaggerated sigh, and then pinched her nose.

''did you hear the news?'' he asked smirking to Abby. we shook our head, and he continued, ''probably Levi and Samantha are together now,'' once he said that, Abby's neck turned in a quarter of a second, and tears filled her eyes. my eyes widened, as Carter was holding himself from laughing.

''w-what?'' she stuttered, but the cleared her voice, ''what?''

''they look really good together, too. i just saw them making out down the hall,'' he said looking into his phone, like nothing mattered. a second later, and before any warning, Abby started jogging down the hall.

''oh Carter! if anyone died today, it's going to be your responsibility!'' i shouted at him, but he was too busy breaking into laugher. i smacked his shoulder, and went behind Abby, who was looking like a lost puppy. Carter on the other hand was still laughing, but was following.

suddenly she stopped upon seeing Levi, who was talking to Noah-as usual. his head turned, and a smile broke on his face once he saw her. i winced when i thought about what will happen to that beautiful face in just a second. as if he was reading my thoughts, his face expression changed, probably upon seeing Abby's face.

everything was happening in slow motion after that. Abby running towards Levi, and then bending down a little with her knees, and then she rose up again jumping on Levi. next thing that happened made me wake up, and realise that both of them were on the floor-she on top of him.

''you idiot!'' she screamed as she started hitting his chest. Carter's eyes were now wide from the laughter, but soon enough he was carrying Abby away from Levi.

''what's wrong?!'' Levi asked getting up from the floor. he winced holding his side

''sorry, man!'' Carter apologized still recovering from the amount of fun he had.

''why in the world are you laughing?! you should hit him!'' Abby said still struggling in Carter's hold to reach for Levi.

''what's wrong, baby? why should he hit me?'' Levi asked like a confused rabbit.

''Abby! Carter was messing with you! and you like an idiot hit Levi! the sweet, and very cute Levi?!'' i asked trying not to laugh. Noah's eyebrows were frowned, and he was looking at me with curiosity.

''wha--WHAT?!'' she screamed. and that's when finally Carter let her touch the ground again.

''what were you messing about exactly?'' Levi winced as he took a step closer.

''oh my god. oh my god!'' Abby shouted at Carter, and left after giving Levi an embarrassed glance. once she was out of my sight, i broke into laugher, and hold onto Carter, who was about to pass out from laughing.

''we are too evil, man!'' i said between our laughter, and he nodded his head.

''what did you two do?'' Levi asked, giving us a suspicious look.

''well, we kinda. no! Carter told her that you practically cheated on her,'' i said looking to the floor.

''WHAT?!'' he screamed in a high-pitched voice, making me look at him with wide eyes. ''i mean, what?'' he asked again while composing himself.

''well, i think you should talk to Carter, really,'' i shrugged, and turned to leave, but not before giving Carter a wink.

''hey hey!'' Carter screamed for me, but i totally ignored him, and continued walking.

''you just bailed on him, and in a very bad way too,'' Noah said from behind, startling me.

''what are you doing exactly?'' i folded my hands together.

''nothing, just telling how of a bad friend you are,'' he shrugged carelessly. i gave him one of my looks, and turned to leave, but a voice stopped me.

''hey, Emma!'' Asher came jogging to me.

''hi, how are you doing?'' i asked smiling. i looked at Noah from the corner of my eyes, and found him looking at Asher angrily.

''good! i was just at Mr. Reid's office, and he said that there is going to be a project for every pair,'' he informed. i was about to speak, when Noah cut me off.

''project? what project?'' Noah asked curiously, folding his arms.

''a biology project. have a problem with that?'' Asher said, narrowing his eyes at Noah.

''don't test me, Asher. i am not going to hit you in front of Emma, but take care, and don't play this card with me,'' Noah warned Asher, and without a warning, i was pulled away from Noah, and out of the hallway.

''is it too hard for you to understand that i don't like being pulled?!'' i complained to the air apparently, because he continued pulling me behind him.

''you change this ass-hole of a partner, alright?'' he asked after finally taking a halt.

''well...no?'' i said stubbornly. he laughed mockingly, and raked his hand on his face in frustration.

''oh yeah, i nearly forgot how stubborn you are!'' he raised his voice, and i shrugged.

''well sorry fro disappointing you, but i don't feel bad for it,'' i said and was about to move, but he took a hold on my arm, and brought me back in front of him.

''i told you the last time that i was going to hit him, and i didn't, so do this one thing for me. can you?'' he asked trying to persuade me.

''i am a man of my word, Emma. trust me!'' i mocked him using a deep stupid voice. he chuckled shaking his head, but then looked at me again. his eyes were sparkling in amusement, like he was watching the most interesting thing ever, and that look made my insides flutter.

''can't we talk serious for a moment?'' he asked, still smiling. i sighed, shrugging.

''we will talk serious when you learn how to not to order me, then come to me,'' i said, looking serious, but the truth was that i was not serious at all.

''i technically did not order you this time, i came and asked politely,'' he explained, but i shook my head.

''you've got better, Noah. you've got better...'' i said, and turned to leave, but this time he didn't stop me. i smiled victoriously, and continued walking.

''so how is practice going?'' Lucas asked, as we were all seated on a table in the cafeteria.

''i am doing good, but i can't seem to find someone as good as me, you know?'' i winked, causing him to roll his eyes.

''very humble, Emma!'' Logan said popping a blueberry in his mouth.

''where is Abby, by the way?'' Lucas asked looking around for her.

''well, let's just say she is finishing some business,'' i said unconvinced by what i was blabbering. i smiled when i heard Carter snorting. i shook my head and started eating, any ways.

''Where is Abby?!'' Levi asked making me jump on my seat.

''what the hell?'' i screamed still in my startled state. ''i don't know, she is supposedly with you,''

''well she was, but then she ran,'' he said feeling uneasy.

''why would she run?'' i asked trying not to laugh. i looked around and saw Abby marching quickly out of the cafeteria.

''here she is,'' Carter pointed her direction, and when she saw him, she ran out of the cafeteria. Levi quickly stumbled forward, and ran to her. Carter and i broke out laughing, earning suspicious looks from Logan and Lucas.

after lunch i went quickly to the locker to grab my Physics books. when i was about to reach for it, Noah placed his hand on it blocking my way.

''hey there,'' he winked. i sighed, ignoring him, and then opened the locker.

''okay then let's get quickly into the topic, then. i need you to go somewhere with me, can you?'' he asked sounding hopeful.

''you sound hopeful, which is weird. do you really think i will go?'' i asked giving my attention to the books.

''well, you don't have an option. tomorrow, at 7 pm, in front of the cafe we went to last time,'' he said quickly, and vanished into thin air. my jaw fell to the floor in total shock.

well, i will not go!

''Emma! Emma! there is a very big problem!'' i heard Abby jogging to me.

''what happened? are you okay?'' i asked, my voice filled with concern.

''there is going to be a tournament in green hills school for soccer and football,'' she said, sounding out of breath, and so was i.

''w-what?'' i asked still trying to understand what she was saying. no! there has to be a mistake, i can't go back there!

''i am so sorry, Emma,'' she said, her eyes soft. i sighed when i felt my eyes getting watery.
