I was aching.

Blood was rushing,

Running down my spine.

Two months ago,

I passed my reigns

To someone new.

They took control,

And rode away

Heading towards the sunset.

Yet I didn't see the wall,

Standing right in front of me.

We start to move full speed.

We crash.

I bleed.

I cry.

They run away,

Hiding from the shame.

Screaming that it's all my fault.

But all I can do

Is let the time heal its wounds.
