Lies we tell ourselves

For the world we put a brave front on

Yet broken inside

we breathe as if

it's easy to move on

Would it kill us

to acknowledge the pain

That life isn't a love song

Not all of us will

find peace as the

Album goes on

Some of us are beyond repair

Unworthy of saving

No matter who the saviour

When God give up on us

Only hell will open it's door

I was told to write about flowers

They died as the winter went on

I don't see the beauty of it

Writing about happiness is not my style after all
