So, a little introduction to this feature:
You are welcome to steal a metaphor or two or point out any mistakes in my work, just please don't copy more than a sentence or so :) This is still my work.
Some of these pieces are very short, just 10 minute writing challenges. Some are more developed, written as assessments or mock exams. There are also a few poems and soliloquy's that I wrote in the course.
Since I am likely to be quarantined for months because of the virus, I will probably use this as something to do and add new pieces to the compilation.

This story starts somewhere in the future. Twenty years before the story begins, a genius scientist created hundreds of machines called the SC-Capsules before he went missing. Nobody alive on Earth knows for sure what the machines do, since anyone who uses them will disappear without any trace, and anyone who tries to disassemble them will be blasted into pieces. Two decades afterward, a dying man tries to escape from death’s grip by doing something that nobody but a desperate man would do. He uses one of the machines… and is transported to another world. He is given another chance, a second chance to live as he wishes… a chance to be a hero… or a villain… or both… or neither… Warning: 18+ due to violence, language, and sexual content on later chapters

For an entire year, stepping out from the other side of the door could be counted in one hand. This is a NEET. Well, supposedly... Specifically, a NEET is a person who is unemployed and currently not engaged to other stuffed. In short, Not in Education, Employment, or Training. NEET. However, let's add a twist shall we! How will a 21st Century Earth girl survive on the Six Worlds of Shtar? A place known as "The War Worlds." The entire thing is somewhat tongue in cheek, fun high fantasy with a touch of satire. Rather than adding in likable and relatable characters, the three Earthlings are supposed to be caricatures and somewhat satirical, as I was making fun of the type of fantasy that was being spit out all over the place at the time I wrote this about a decade ago. It is currently unfinished and on hiatus.

Every human in the galaxy seems to be aware of possibly dying but for a ten year old boy named Ethan Foster, death seems all but certain. After being contacted by an entity known as "Ascent" through one of his premonitions, Ethan, with the help of an ONI agent, uncover secrets burried beneath Meridian. There, Ethan learns of his importance in the universe but once Meridian falls to the Covenant, his dreams stop. It isnt until ten years later, well after Humanity has won the Human-Covenant War that Ethans dream start again and his destiny to save humanity from Cortana is paved for him.

A Burglar, a Lawman, his scent hound, a Hitman, and a Hellhound chase each other through a very Spooky Forest on a quest for absolution, understanding, mercy, and fulfilment of duty. The story is mildly Slavic-fantasy, with a guest appearance from Baba Yaga and her house on hen's feet. It contains tight personal stakes and none of the human characters have magic powers or superhuman abilities. Nothing bad happens to the dog.
