《A Fiery Love: A Charlie Weasley Love Story》Chapter 7: Falling

I woke up to the smell of sausage and pancakes. My stomach lurched at the thought of that delicious food. I picked my head up to see Charlie still asleep. He was laying on his stomach so I decided to wake him up by kissing his back.
“Wake up Babe!” I whispered into his ear.
He groaned at the thought, but the smell of yummy pancakes got him up. We walked down to the kitchen to see everyone still in their pj’s with bed heads. We grabbed a seat across from Hermione and Ron. Hermione’s hair look extra big this morning.
“Alright everyone! Dig in!” Exclaimed Molly.
She didn’t have to tell us twice. As soon as the plates were in front of us we all began eating our weight in pancakes, eggs, and sausage. Not a word was said, everyone was too busy shoveling food into their mouths.
Once everyone’s bellies were full we all decided to go upstairs and make ourselves more presentable. I then realized I had no clothes to change into since I wasn’t prepared to stay the night at the Burrow.
“Don’t worry Izzy! You can borrow some of my clothes.” Said Hermione.
“Thank you.”
She handed me a pair of jeans and a shirt, and I was off to take a shower. The water felt great against my tired body. As soon as I got out I dried my hair with a simple spell and slipped into the clothes Hermione lent me. Since I didn’t have my make up bag it was all natural for me today. I went back to Charlie’s room without knocking the door. I opened the door to see Charlie changing. I quickly closed the and yelled an ’I’m Sorry’. Charlie opened the door and began to laugh.

“Don’t worry about it. It’s not a big deal.” He chuckled out.
I went and put the clothes Charlie lent me to sleep in into his hamper and picked up the shoes, pearls, and dress that Fleur left me. I walked over to Bill’s room and carefully knocked on the door. Bill answered the door shirtless and I handed him the clothes without looking at him. What is it with these Weasley boys and being naked? I walked back to Charlie’s room and found him making his bed.
“Mum would kill me if I forgot to make my bed! Even if I am 27!” He continued making his bed.
“Geeze, 27? You’re old!” I teased.
“First you make fun of me because I’m a Gryffindor and now because I’m 27? You are one mean little person!” He stuck his tongue out at me.
“Aww… I’m not mean! Little yes, but not mean!” I went and wrapped my arms around him. He towered me by a whole head making me feel even smaller than I actually was.
He laughed and kissed the top of my head.
“I guess not.” He gave me a wink. “Let’s go outside! I think they want to play Quidditch.”
We walked outside to see broomsticks laid out on the grass. In counting we were one short if we were all going to play. I decided to just watch and let everyone else enjoy themselves. I was never much of a Quidditch player myself, but I knew Charlie was. From what I remember he was a pretty good player. All the Weasley’s had been on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, well expect Percy, but he was more into studying than sports and outdoorsy type of things.
Everyone was flying and laughing enjoying themselves when Molly called out to us that Dinner was ready. Was it already that late? Time flew by when you’re having fun. Dinner was a blast! Everyone was laughing a joking and being completely silly. Once dinner was over Charlie and I knew we couldn’t stay another night. We had to be at the Institution early the next morning. We said our goodbye’s to everyone and apparated back to my cottage.

“Thank you for coming with me to the wedding!” Charlie said.
“I had a lot of fun, thank you for inviting me.”
He bent down and gave me a long passionate kiss, leaving butterflies in my stomach.
“I’ll see you tomorrow beautiful.” He gave me a wink and left.
The weekend had just been so perfect. As I got ready for bed all I could think about was Charlie and how wonderful he was. I’m really falling hard for this guy, aren’t I?
