《A Fiery Love: A Charlie Weasley Love Story》Chapter 30: Can't Wait

Charlie’s POV
She had said yes and everything was going perfectly! School was about to end for Izzy and soon she would meet her brother and sister. Before I proposed to her I wrote a letter to both her mother and father. Her father replied instantaneously; her mother took a little longer to reply, but gave us her blessing. I was really worrying that her mother was going to blow a gasket and say no, but to my surprise she said she was happy if Izzy was happy.
My parents were off the wall from the news. My family was excited that we were getting married. Finally all the Weasley kids would be married and/or starting a family. I figured Izzy and I would be married for a short time before we started having kids. Ever since we visited Angelina and the baby you could see it in Izzy’s eyes that that’s all she wanted, a baby.
I would catch Izzy staring at the ring I gave her. She would smile to herself as she memorized the curves of the knot and the placement of the diamond. My family never had much money, but I knew the ring was one thing that I wouldn’t mind paying for.
Izzy and I decided to have a summer wedding in the middle of July. That gave us two months to prepare for the wedding. Izzy said that was more than enough time to get everything ready. Fleur, Herminone, and Ginny were helping Izzy plan and figure out what she wanted. Bill was helping me with the tasks I had to complete. I really didn’t know what those tasks were, but I was sure Bill would let me know.
“We need to get you a nice Tux.” Bill said visiting me at work one day.
“I have a…”
“No, it’s not Charlie.” He cut me off laughing. “It’s old and you need something new for your wedding. Don’t you want to look nice?” Bill was anal about clothes.
“Yeah I guess.” I couldn’t believe he was lecturing me about looking nice.
“We’ll go find you something nice next week, sound good to you?” He smiled and nodded his head.
Izzy seemed to be enjoying making all these plans. The girls were going to go shopping this weekend for Izzy’s wedding dress and the bridesmaids gowns. Izzy decided that the color scheme for the wedding would be royal blue. The girls were always hard at work when together, and most of the time they wouldn’t let me see what they were doing since it revolved around what Izzy wanted in her dress. Ginny threw her shoe at me once for getting too close to them. These girls meant business when it came to this wedding.

Saturday finally came around and the girls were at our house bright and early to pick Izzy up to go wedding dress shopping. Izzy was very excited for this; she couldn’t sleep at all from all the excitement.
“I’ll see you tonight.” She kissed my cheek and hurried out the door.
Izzy’s POV
Ginny and Hermione arrived at the house at 8:47 AM. My stomach had butterflies flying around. I couldn’t believe this day had come. I was going to go find my wedding dress, but first I had to pick up my mom so she could be there with me. Even though we might have our differences she is my mom and I want her there the day I buy my wedding dress.
We arrived at my mom’s house around 9 AM. She was in the living room waiting for us to arrive.
“Hey mom.” I went and gave her a hug.
“How are we going to get to where we’re going?” She asked nervously.
“Apparating.” I said feeling my heart race. I knew she didn’t like traveling by magic, but it makes getting from Texas to New York so much simpler.
“Ok.” She said taking a deep breath. “Can I close my eyes?”
“Don’t worry Mrs. Jennings, apparating isn’t that bad.” Hermione said with a warm smile. That seemed to relax my mom just a little bit.
We headed out and my nerves seemed to kick in even harder. My mom held on to my hand as we apparated to New York. When we arrived she still didn’t loosen her grip.
“Mom, we’re here.” I said shaking her hand.
“You’re right Hermione, that wasn’t so bad.” My mom said with a sigh of relief.
We walked into the first shop with thousands of gorgeous dresses. A slender woman met us at the door with a hungry look in her eye.
“Welcome ladies! How may I help you?” Her hair was cut pixie short and dyed jet black. Her eyes were a crystal blue and her lips were a rosie red.
“We’re here to find her a wedding dress.” Said Ginny pointing at me.
“Well you’ve come to the right place!” She flashed her bright white smile as she walked over to me. “Is there anything in particular that you would like?”
“Um… Nothing too over the top. I want to keep it simple and elegant.” I said nervously.
She led us to a small room with chairs and doors on the sides. She sat everyone down and told me to follow her into one of the smaller doors. Inside there were a few dresses already hanging.

“Would you like to look at these and see if you like any?” She asked shuffling through the bags of dresses.
They were all really pretty, but only a few really caught my attention. She slipped me into a ball gown just to see what everyone would think. It was pretty but definitely not something I would wear.
When I walked out the three of them didn’t say anything. I could tell they didn’t like it so I ran back into the dressing room. The lady put a mermaid style dress on me that had a bow in the back. I walked back out and everyone’s eyes got big.
“That’s really pretty Iz!” Said Hermione.
“It really is Mija.” My mother added.
“You have the perfect figure for this type of dress, and it looks gorgeous on you.” The sales lady said.
“It’s nice, but I don’t know. I want to look at more dresses.” I said looking at myself in the mirror.
“Not a problem!” The lady said.
We walked back into the dressing room and I tried on the last dress that caught my eye. It was lacey and had thick straps. The back scooped low and under my bust there was a silver lining. The dress was form fitting and flared out little by little from my thighs. I couldn’t stop staring at my reflection. The dress was gorgeous and I loved it. I walked out with a big smile on my face.
“Oh my! Izzy!” Cried Hermione. “You look absolutely gorgeous!”
“That looks so amazing on you.” Added Ginny.
The only one who didn’t say anything was my mom. I looked over at her and she was just staring at me with tears in her eyes.
“What do you think mom?” I asked nicely.
“Mija…” She started. “It’s beautiful.” She stood up and started crying. I walked over to her and gave her a hug. I felt tears streaming down my cheeks. My mom kissed my cheek and hugged me tighter. “You have to get this one.”
The dress was perfect and I knew Charlie would love it. My mom offered to pay for half of my dress. It was days like this that I knew my mother loved me very much. We decided to leave the dress at my moms house to keep it away from Charlie’s prying eyes. We stopped at another store to look for Hermione’s and Ginny’s dresses. We found this gorgeous royal blue dress that went to their knees. It was strapless and had a lining under the bust. While at the store we found a cute red dress for my mother. She enjoyed shopping, but hated trying clothes on. But she sucked it up for today. After all the shopping I was exhausted. We dropped my mom back at her house and parted ways there.
When I got home Charlie had dinner ready for me. He cleaned the house as well. The house smelt amazing and I couldn’t wait to eat.
“You’re amazing.” I said giving his a kiss.
“You deserve the best baby.” He took my hand and led me to the table. “How was the shopping?” He asked.
“It was good. Found the girls and my mom their dresses.” I didn’t mention my dress.
We ate our food and talked about little plans for the wedding and my visit to see my brother and sister. Charlie was free the day after school let out and we decided to go then. I was excited to meet them and hopefully they liked me as well.
“Babe, they’ll love you.” Charlie assured me after we finished eating.
“You always know what to say to calm me down.” I kissed Charlie on the cheek and walked to our bedroom to change.
I slipped on some shorts and a shirt and laid in bed. Charlie took his pants off and joined me in bed. He kissed my forehead and wrapped his arms around me.
“I love you Sweetheart.” I said kissing my cheek.
“I love you too.” I stretched up and kissed his warm lips.
He ran his fingers through my hair and ran his tongue across my bottom lip. Our kissed deepened and became more passionate. He ran his free hand up and down my thigh. He pulled my leg around him as I removed his shirt. Charlie had a nice six pack that I liked to feel. I kissed his neck and chest hearing him moan a little. He tugged at my shorts and removed them. He slid a hand up my shirt and played around my stomach. I laced my fingers through his hair and bit on his bottom lip.
“You’re such tease.” He whispered. I giggled a little and pulled his face back to me.
“You like it.” I said wrapping my legs around him.
After we made love we both fell asleep. He fell asleep first and I watched him for awhile. He looked so peaceful and angelic. I kissed him lightly on the lips and snuggled into his body. This is how it was going to be for the rest of our lives, and I couldn’t wait.

The Writer
Frustrated with his limits, the young writer Seven accepts an offer from a supernatural entity, traveling to its world whilst given the chance to live past his regrets. Humans, though, are creatures that don't easily change, and his warped views of reality turn him into an unpredictable ally or foe in the game of death that is to follow. For the sake of translating his new experiences into a written masterpiece, he will spare nothing, not even his own life - so long as the work is complete. *** Romance tag was previously there, but it starts quite late in the story and I've yet to reach that part. I know how it will happen (more precisely, how I want it to happen), but currently, there are just subtle nuances that can only be left to the reader's very expansive imagination, and I wouldn't call that romance but a
