The music was blasting from the speakers and booming throughout my house.
John Legend's You and I, one of my favorites.
I was in my own heaven waiting for them to come. I'm waiting for them over an hour now. Where could they be?
The doorbell rang.
Immediately I rushed to the door. "Who is this?" I asked in the intercom.
"It's us." They said.
I opened the door and they strolled inside, walking further and plopping down on the couch.
"Ashu, where are those candies?" Annie asked.
She looked here and there and her eyes fell on the candy jar that was placed in the middle of the dining table. She hopped like a kangaroo and went towards the table and grabbed two fistfuls of candies.
"Mad woman!" Parth uttered.
"I heard that." Annie yelled and plopped candies in her mouth.
"God! She has ears like a bat." Parth muttered more softly now.
"Parth!" Annie yelled and threw a candy at him. The candy hit his head. I chuckled at the scene. They bickered back and forth like a married couple.
"So why did you call us?" Parth asked me while he sheilded himself with a cusion from the storming candies coming from Annie.
"Hey! Don't waste my candies." I told Annie. "There's someone I want you to meet."
"Who?" They asked.
"My step sister."
---------
We were still waiting for Roy and her to come.
Calling and thinking her to be my step sister still gives a weird feeling inside me. She was my bully in school, she made my life a living hell and yet after that she didn't stay away from me. Her mother ruined my mother's life. They ruined my family.
I don't know what changed but she genuinely was sorry for what she did. Yes, I forgave her but I can't forget whatever she did to me. I'm not that good of a person.

When I told Parth and Annie that they will meet my step sister, they were shocked. No one. I mean no one knew about my family's past.
By the look on Parth's face I'm sure he also didn't know about this. My security has done a good job hiding my history.
While I was lost in my thoughts, someone came from behind and snaked his hand around my stomach and sniffed my hair. His warmth spread through my body.
This feels so good....
Oh wait!
I was suppose to be angry at him.
I removed his hands from my stomach and moved out of his embrace. But that was so comforting... my inner voice whined.
"Sweetie..." Roy said but trailed off.
"Hmm?"
"Come back to me." He ordered. I walked further into the kitchen, away from him.
I ignored him.
"Are you sad?" He asked.
"No."
"Are you upset?"
"They both are same thing."
"Okay. Are you angry at something?"
"No."
"Do you want ice cream?"
"No."
"Are you hiding something from me?"
"Why would you think that?"
"Nevermind." He ignored my question. "Are you on your periods?"
"No!"
"Why are you ignoring me then?"
"I'm not ignoring you."
"Why are you not talking to me then?" He whined and pouted his lips.
"I'm talking to you." I replied flatly.
"Okay. Do you wanna go shopping?"
"No." I sighed.
"Do you wanna go for...."
"Are we playing 20 questions here?" I cut him off mid sentence.
He grinned like an idiot. "No."
At that moment the doorbell rang.
She is here.
I rushed to the door to open it.
"What the...! Who is more important than me?!" Roy asked and gasped which was totally fake.

"No one."
I heard Parth and Annie laughing about something.
"Give me a kiss atleast." Roy pouted again. Oh how can I resist those lips?
"No." I guess I can. I smirked and opened the door.
My bully in school, my step sister stood there. She smiled. I too, gave her a small smile in return.
"Come in." I invited her.
Roy joined Parth and Annie in the living room.
"What is she doing here?" Annie asked. She glared at the woman standing beside me.
Parth, not knowing what to do, slummed back down in the couch.
"What's going on, Ashna?" Roy asked in a dead serious voice. All the playfullness was gone from earlier.
"She is my step sister."
I waited for their reaction. There mouth hung open and dropped to the floor. This was a priceless moment.
"You mean Natasha is your step sister?!" Annie exclaimed in shock.
I nodded.
"When did this happen?" Parth asked. The most intelligent has to ask the most stupid question. We all gave him a flat look.
He shrugged.
"Are you serious?" Roy asked me and I shrugged.
"Lets sit and talk." I suggested.
We all took our seat in the couch.
Me and Roy sat in the love seat whereas Parth and Annie sat in the main couch. Natasha seated herself in the single one.
We all looked at each other.
"So start speaking." Annie ordered Natasha. Her tone was so cold that Parth gulped and I on the other hand, chuckled.
"Well, I'm pregnant." Natasha began. Annie, Parth and Roy gave her a flat look.
Natasha waited for their reaction. But there was nothing.
"And this baby is not Roy's." She said.
"We know." Annie said again in a cold tone.
"Whose baby is it?" Parth asked. That was the most awaited question. I didn't ask her before when she came to my office.
"Its Michael's. Michael Richards."
Michael? That name sounds familier.
"Isn't it that dude in the ball who took you away from me?" Roy asked me.
Oh.
"Yes. Michael Richards. He is Ashna's media partner." Natasha confirmed.
So he is cheating on my friend, Hea. That bastard!
"So what is it exactly that you wanna tell us Natasha? Because we are clearly not interested in your baby dady's name." I finally asked her. And mind you, not in a good way.
"He wants to ruin you." She said.
Why would he want to ruin me? I was confused. We did our business well. I was nothing but good to him. He was becoming successful. His channel was flourishing because of my fashion shows and reality shows. Why would he want to destroy me?
"What's his reason?" I asked.

Disclaimer: I'm not continuing this story. Check out Azarinth Healer, it's a more current story where I worked on a lot of things I found wrong with this one. Main character is somewhat similar as well so if you like Eleonora, you'll probably like Ilea. I still invested a ton of time writing this so check it out if you feel like it. There's gonna be 20 Chapters 39k words total. Hey everyone. This is a story I've started writing like a year ago and thought why not post it now. This story is about fighting and magic in a pretty standard fantasy world. The story follows Eleonora through her daily life in Duneswatch and on her way to become an adventurer. No secrets here, it's pretty generic. Should be decently paced so just give it a shot if you want to. I'm not gonna sell it to you in this quick summary. The range of writing on RR is so wide we both know you just have to give it a chapter...or a paragraph depending on how unique the grammar is. Please do criticize harshly. I'm definitely no writer but everybody can improve with pointers in the right direction. Don't expect regular updates.

Whatever End
The fight is over, the enemy destroyed, the world is saved… technically. “Stand Fast!” The general called over the din of battle. “We will hold this line! The future depends on us! When the battle is done, and the world is ‘saved’ what happens to those left behind? And.. what should he do, now that it’s over? Cover art by gej302

Our unlucky (Lucky?) protagonist doesn't even get to find out as he finds himself in a world of cultivators with a "Golden Ring" of a system inside his head. "Against the Gods? That means Yun Che should be here... If I run into that psycho who knows what might happen. On the other hand, he is a prick so it would be a fun idea to mess with him and keep those girls safe. Might even see if Qingyue is all the book made her out to be~ Not like he deserves her." Midthalion Saga
+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.
