Lavanya entered into the office with a confused expression as her mind revolving around the girl harshika whom she met few seconds ago. She saw unending misery and pain in harshika eyes.. When lavanya witnessed harshika's damaged state, the thought of doing something to make her happy occupy in lavanya's mind.. That led her to talk with harshika in carefree way and even she shared the secret which she was hiding deeply in her heart for long time without anyone knowing.

A sadness sweep away on lavanya eyes for a second as she remembered harshika. However, she covered up it with her customary bright smile.

Both ladies are preoccupied with the lives of others, ignoring the impending sadness and pain that they will experience very soon.

On the other hand, Raghavan and akash paused their serious talk about their next project and turned their gaze to alluring Lavanya, when they heard door opening sound . Lavanya beauty has a power to hold any man eyes on her except akash and raghavan. About raghavan, as the result of his ex-lover division, his heart turned into stone that made his eyes lost interest in admiring woman's beauty.

In contrast of raghavan, Akash is not a one - woman man.. He likes to admire and relish every girl's beauty. For him, lavanya is already tasted fruit, therefore now he don't feeling any attraction or sweetness in her.. For him, now she is the unwanted one which he think to cut off from his dating list. Moreover, he has no faith in love.. According to him, he can make any woman comply with his desire with his wealth. As the result of his lavish lifestyle which is provided by his parents, he got the things whatever he desired.. It made him to live his life without any responsibility and worries.. And also it lead him to live his life without realizing what love is.. If a girl confessed her love to him, he would always respond with a smile.

"Only crazy people will do love.. I'm totally not into it.. From today onwards, we can be friends with benefits if you are free tonight.. What you think ??."

By saying these same sentence, he added lavanya in his dating list. Lavanya is not from rich family like him.. She belongs to a middle class family but her appearance and dressing style will make others to think that she from wealthy family. Even akash was thinking same. Actually, he would do friendship only with people who are equal to him. She did not tried to clear up his thought about her status with the intention of befriending him.

Infact, the philosophy of Akash is true. Love is a crazy thing, and it causes people to do insane things without realising the implications.

When Akash noticed Lavanya's presence, he became irritated and cursed something inaudibly. He then shifted his eyes to Raghavan, like if she didn't exist.

Lavanya felt piercing pain in her heart for a second when she witnessed akash ignorance towards her. However, she concealed her pain with her usual grin and went near him and called him in a soft tone,

"Akash darling.."

By hearing her voice, he rolled his eyes with a displeasure and sat there simply without replying anything to her as if he didn't heard her voice..

Raghavan looked both of them without showing any expression. Lavanya is like a sister to raghavan. He got to know lavanya through his cousin akash. Lavanya's carefree demeanour, constant smile, and naive demeanour led him to consider her ad his sister. Until now, Raghavan had assumed that the two of them were friends. However, now noticing their strange behaviour, the doubt begin arise in his mind as if there something going between them.

Regardless of akash ignorance, lavanya sat near him on the sofa and asked raghavan in cheerful tone,

"Bro.. How are you ?"

Raghavan just nodded with tightened face in the way response to her. His unenthusiastic response did not cause her any sadness, because she ready know it, he was like this.

She just talked to raghavan for formality and turned her attention towards akash and tried to have conversation with him,

"Darling, Can we go somewhere once you finished this meeting ?."

Akash controlled his irritation with the thought that if he now announce her that he wish to break off their relation, she would may play some drama in front of his cousin. Therefore, to deal the situation smoothly he told her with forced smile,

"Uhm.. Sorry lavanya.. I'm busy right now.. I have an appointment with Raghavan and some of the board directors to finalise important deal in a hotel. So, now you go home.. We can go outing another day.."

After saying it, he get up from the sofa and told raghavan,

"Come on, bro.. Let's go.. We are getting late for the meeting "

Raghavan also get up from the sofa in the way to comply with him.. Lavanya looked at

Akash with disappoint and tried to convince him as she get up from the sofa,

"Akash.. Please take me with you.. I don't distrub your meeting.. After your meeting, we can go somewhere.. I just want be with you.. Please.. Please.. "

She pleaded to him with puppy eyes while holding his hand tightly like a child. Her childish obstinacy irritated him even more. He clenched his fist to supress his rage and closed his eyes as he tilted his head backwards. She resumed her blabbering, oblivious to the fact that her actions were enraging him.

" After dinner, we can spend our time in beach in the moon light.. What you think ??.. It will be fanastic right !!.. I know it.. But, I will come to the beach if you agree to buy me ice cream.. Otherwise,.. We can.."

Her blabbering came to an end when she heard his shouting,

"STOP IT.. JUST STOP IT.. ARE YOU CHILD TO BLABBER LIKE THIS !!.. JUST TRY TO BEHAVE LIKE A GIRL.. CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND OTHERS WORDS ??.. I SAID I'M BUSY.. I DON'T HAVE TIME YOUR NON- SENSE DINNER.. JUST GET OUT OF HERE.. "

The office environment became deafeningly quiet as a result of his yelling. Even raghavan was taken aback by Akash's abrupt shift of behaviour. The cousin he know would never get angry for whatever reason. No one have never seen Akash's enraged expression. Lavanya loosened her grip on akash hand and murmured in soft tone,

"Don't get angry akash.. I will never ask you to buy ice cream again.. Its okay.. We can enjoy in beach without eating ice cream also.. So, yo.."

Lavanya statement made him to look at her with bloodshot eyes and then he sneered,

" Just stop your innocent acting.. I'm bored of it and also I'm bored of you.. So, PLEASE SHOW YOUR FACE AGAIN TO ME"

After saying it, he left the office with raghavan, despite her devastated state. The occurrence demonstrated to her that he had lost interest in her. Yet, her heart is not ready to accept it. She deceived herself by claiming he spoke such remarks in a rage and he didn't mean it in that way.
