《Jade *COMPLETED*》Prologue

Jade POV
I stared in wonder at the place. It has been some time now since me and the girls have been stuck on Mako Island, and finally, after quite a lot of hours of trying to persuade Cleo to get into the water, we were finally able to leave.
"Don't worry Cleo, I won't let go of you," I tell her with a sweet, yet reassuring smile. Even though it was not Cleo's fault for being clumsy and slipping into a cave which led us to the cone of a volcano, her slipping and us finding this place made it pretty special.
Cleo nodded and took hold of my hand. She slowly got up and walked into the water. She immediately went under after she stepped off the step and I quickly went under to get her back up. "See, this isn't so bad."
I gasped when I saw the water around us suddenly bubble like in jacuzzi. It was lit up aswell! I looked around trying to find a reasonable explanation for the cause of this, but I found nothing. I then looked up and saw a full moon above us.
"Creepy," Emma said making all of us nod. "Okay, now focus and take a deep breath." Those were her last words before she took a deep breath herself and went under, swimming away from the idol.
"You'll do great Cleo," Rikki said before following Emma out.
I looked at Cleo and gave her smile. "I won't let go, and remember to hold your breath." Cleo nodded before taking a deep breath with me. We submerged ourselves and started swimming for the exit of the cave. After about a two minute swim, me and Cleo could breath again when our heads came out of the sea.

"That was longer than twenty seconds," Cleo snapped sassily making me chuckle. Our chuckles were soon interrupted by the water police coming to our rescue. We swam for the boat and signed in comfort when we were handed towels. Finally something warm around my body.
When I finally got home, I did not expect my Aunt Bianca to be still up. And boy did I get an earful from her about my disappearance and coming home after midnight without tell her. But its not my fault my phone cannot be charged on that island.
After a two hour earful from my Aunt, I was finally able to go shower and go to sleep. I snuggled into my duvet and sleep engulfed me instantly. That night I dreamt of my adventure with the girls to Mako Island, how we got there, why we got there, what we saw and experienced, and what happened at the Moon Pool. Moon Pool? What a weird name but it fits.
When I woke up, I saw that it was a sunny day and immediately got up. I had so much energy that I quickly ate my breakfast and rushed upstairs to change into a lime-green bikini. I took my towel and went outside to the garden and jumped into the pool.
I smiled as I done a butterfly stroke swim, when suddenly I felt a tingling feeling running through my body. It's definitely not my period as I just had it, so what is this feeling. The water suddenly bubbled around me and soon instead of seeing my body and a bikini, I saw a orange scaly tail with a matching top.
"Argh!" I screamed. I tried to take it off but I couldn't. I quickly swam to the edge and picked myself up before trying to cover myself with the towel. I scrubbed at the tail and all parts of my body, when the tingling feeling came back. Soon the tail and top was gone.

What is going on?
My question was somehow answered when I found out that the same thing happened to Cleo, Emma, and Rikki. Later on the day, me and girls discovered that we had special abilities.
We sure experienced a life changing situation. I just hope that no one finds out about this, otherwise I would become sushi.

Episode 2: SPAWN
A vampire was destroyed in the city of Two Rivers. Her second death points detectives Alton and Cook of the Unjust Existence Extermination Investigation Force in the direction of an agent of a foreign power, and suggests the existence of a greater vampiric plot that undermines the reputation of the city for fair treatment of living-impaired citizens. Set in the world of Manifest Destiny - a shared hombrew D&D 3.5/Pathfinder 1 campaign setting that has been in use since 2007, this is a fantasy police procedural similar in style to Law & Order. Retired player characters make cameo appearances. This work originally won NaNoWriMo in 2015, and will update every Saturday until complete.
