《Jade *COMPLETED*》Chapter 6

Jade POV
It has been over a week since my date with Paul, and our now so called 'relationship' kept blooming. He was the first thing I thought about when I woke up, he was the first one that I heard when I hear his voice when he calls me every morning. He basically took over my whole mind and heart.
I was currently at the house having a barbeque with Dad, Jake, Paul and their friends, who they all call the pack. At first I thought it was a little suspicious and weird to call your friends that, but I soon let it go when I saw how all the guys basically acted like animals.
I was sitting with Leah Clearwater, Kim Connweller and Emily Young. We were having a fun chat about the guys when I suddenly something reflect on the window of my bedroom. A full moon. I gasped when I looked up and my eyes immediately widened when I saw the full moon.
Suddenly everything around me stopped mattering as the moon had my attention. I heard voices next to me but I ignored them as my whole mind and body was taken over by the power of the moon. I stood up and walked in the direction of the beach, getting yells and questions from the pack.
"Jade!" A male voice yelled but I ignored everything as I made my through the forest without tripping and soon arrived at the beach. I could hear the sound of howls behind me but I ignored them as I stepped into the sea and dived in, my body transforming immediately.
I felt myself being pulled by the power of the moon, and very soon with the help of my powerful tail, I found myself in a cave. The Moon was making the pool bubble and I could feel a powerful energy.

I stared at the one that changed me as the water and magic engulfed my body. I lifted my hand and pointed it towards mainland.
Paul POV
"Jade!" I screamed my imprints name as me, Billy, the pack and the imprints searched for my imprint.
I have no idea what happened to her at the barbeque, but it literally looked like she was possessed as she got up and headed in the direction of the beach. Of course with everything that is currently happening with the leeches, I could not let my imprint get hurt so I followed her with the pack behind me.
But only to find her footprints leading to the sea. Where the hell is she?
"Jade!" I screamed one more time before a strong boom came out of the sky. Soon a very strong feeling of the wind came knocking almost all of us down.
"Storm! Everyone we have get back to Billy's!" Sam yelled over the loud wooshing of the wind and the boom of the thunder.
"But Jade is still out there!" I yelled in protest.
"We'll look for her as soon as the storm ends! Come on, we have to get to shelter!" Sam commanded making me growl but I obeyed.
Please be safe Jade.
Jade POV
I groaned at the pounding headache. What the hell did I drink?
I got up from the soft ground, only to discover that I wasn't at home or the beach. But in a cave. How the hell did I get here?
I got up and dusted myself and looked around. The cave reminded me a lot of my Moon Pool, except the Moon Pool is inside a creator of a volcano, and this Moon Pool had a large hole.

I sighed realising that it must have been a full moon and I got affected. I just hope I can get home safely as I dived in and swam in the direction of the main land.
I soon got to the First Beach and got ready to get out, when I saw my family, Paul and the pack. Oh no! They must have followed me and now are searching for me.
I shook my head and dived by into the water, swimming around to find another beach. I made sure that no one was around before I got out and tried to dry myself on the warm soft rocks. Soon I saw my legs again and I got up, dusted myself off and walked in the direction of home.
When I got there, I saw my family with Paul and the pack all standing outside the house, sitting where the bon fire was.
"Jade!" I saw Jake yell when he lifted his head up, causing everyone to turn in my direction and soon Paul was in front of me, hugging the crap out me.
"Do you know how worried I was about you?" Paul whispered as I felt his arms tighten around me. "Never do that to me ever again! Do you understand?"
Before I could respond, Paul claimed my lips in a brutal, fiery yet passionate kiss.

Cultivating Earth [Hiatus]
[This fiction is on indefinite hiatus. I'm currently acting as a 24-hour caregiver for my step-father who had a massive heart attack. I apologize for disappearing so quickly, but sometimes that's just life. I'll return as soon as possible. Sorry everyone!] Zhao Gang, after hundreds of thousands of years cultivating, has finally reached the penultimate threshold. He is ready to ascend to the level of True Immortal. Driven by the need for a place his enemies won't find him, Zhao Gang puts together an audacious plan. He has developed a revolutionary new formation which will allow him to ascend while on even the lowest planes. To avoid drawing attention, he has to choose a plane that is relatively desolate, however. He chooses Earth. Fast forward three thousand years. Zhao Gang discovers what his work has wrought - a cultivation-free culture that has delved the deep mysteries of creation - he can't help but think how this tiny little planet devoid of natural energy could affect the course of all creation. There's only one problem. For that to happen, he has to succeed in cultivating Earth. Notes: Chinese names should be ignored in the social context - they don't mean anything. Sorry for slaughtering such a beautiful tradition. This novel starts off slower than most. If the slow-roll isn't your thing, you might want to give this a pass. If it's not for you, I understand. Also, releases may be broken up into smaller chunks. The goal is 5k words, but definitely more than 4k. If you see a short release, be aware that more is probably coming. I'll be honest and say that I'm struggling with each new scene, if only because I want to balance the scope of vision with good pacing. I hope the work I put into it is worthwhile.

I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)
