Arjun's steps halted half way through the corridor. He listened to his gut feeling that she wouldn't do something like this...

Arjun went back to his study and sat down after calling his investigator to make sure that the voice and the images are of lakshmi's...

He sighed feeling heavy on his heart and leaned on to the window. He looked at the setting sun in the orange hue.... As if his hopes were setting down....

Coldness started filling the atmosphere and didn't help arjun to stay calm.... It made him feel like his hopes are on thread.

After a couple of hours, his investigator called him back.

" sir, it's lakshmi madam in the videos, proved by imaging identification and also the voice has been matched to hers in the video you have sent by the specialists. "

Arjun fell silent..

Blood is gushing through his body but he can't move even his finger.

How lame was I till now to think that she loved me and she is different. First it was my brother and now it's Vihaan... Maybe my enemies are with me all this time and I'm protecting myself building walls high up keeping those people beside me...

Arjun passed through the corridor and reached her room. She is dressing up rasgulla after a bath.

Arjun stood there silently looking at the mother and son duo with negative thoughts in his mind...

"lakshmi " he called her and she looked at him. ' No smile like before ' he thought looking at her expressions.

" I'll come down in 2 mins, baby is about to sleep " she said, she made the baby lie down on the bed and patted his soft belly...

As soon as she got out of the room, arjun couldn't hold himself anymore and he dragged lakshmi to his room.

He locked the door and pushed her to the floor. Lakshmi stood up quickly and looked terrified at her husband who is in anger..

What is between you and Vihaan? " as soon as she heard this question, she gulped in fear.... She didn't expect him to know about this matter too soon.

" Tell! " he yelled and the whole room echoed. Lakshmi shivered in fear.

He took calculative steps near her and held on to her shoulders. He is in rage but he is weak at the same time...

Unable to face the same thing twice.. He remembered those videos and photos of them and he wants his wife to tell him that those are not what it is.....

" please tell " he begged connecting their foreheads...

" what you saw is true " she said and looked at him. He looked into her eyes trying to find out if it was a lie...

" what did I see? " he asked , trying to keep himself sane.... Trying to see if she hid anything from him...

" those videos " she said and he looked at her calculatively...

" how do you know that I have got videos? " he asked her. If anyone is trying to frame her or force her then he will make sure to make them suffer...

" I have seen them in your study room yesterday night.

We can't possibly stay under the same roof after what you have done to me..

Lakshmi yelled in anger and tried to get away from the room.

Arjun was shattered at the words which were said by his wife... All this was a game... All this was a play for her... He thought that he was going to have a beautiful soul in his life on whom he could trust and spend his life with...but all of them are shattered...

" you look much better here " he said and remembered how Vihaan touched her shoulders with care...

He fisted his hands.... Remembering how she hugged him back...

" my dear slut wife " he called her in his malicious voice and she was about to move back but he held onto her shoulders and let his nails dig into her skin.

She tried to get away from him and the pain being inflicted by him...

" how about we have our dinner ? " he said and left her behind. She came down following behind him and then entered the dining hall. She served him and then was about to leave but he stopped her.

" sit and eat " his voice shook her to core and she was about to sit but was pushed down onto the floor.

" sit and eat there slut " he said and threw food onto the floor.

Lakshmi's eyes widened at his actions... He wanted her to eat food from the floor... She was about to deny but her face was pushed into the rice thrown on the floor...

" dogs eat like this " he said and grinded her face onto the floor.

....The old arjun is back....

The next morning arjun went down the stairs and looked at the dining table which was set with breakfast.

She showed her true colors now. How crazy was he internally that he got played by a little girl,

only because he needed a mate....

He should have learnt his lesson from before that no one can be selfless and loyal, after seeing meera....

He went up the stairs and looked at lakshmi patting the baby.

" Ayesha! " he yelled out loud and the maid came running.

Baby started crying seeing his father angry and his mother was shivering holding him...

" take baby

Don't give her back " he said harshly and she held the baby tightly.... Ayesha was stunned to hear her master's order. She never ever thought that he could do something like this to the mistress of this mansion...

Knowing that if she fought more, then nothing good would happen and she dosen't want to risk baby into their matter so lakshmi gave the baby to Ayesha... Her heart cried out parting from her baby....

Ayesha gave her a reassuring smile unknown to arjun, and lakshmi nodded.

As soon as Ayesha left, arjun slapped her hard and she fell on to the floor with a stinging sensation on her cheek.

" my dearest slut

Do you know that it's breakfast time and your master needs to be served? " he asked kneeling onto the floor as held her chin tightly.

Tears made out of her eyes and arjun slapped her again.

" don't cry slut

Don't keep that innocent facade of yours when eveything is out "

He said and left the room followed by lakshmi behind him.

She served him and she stood behind. This was the same situation when she came to this mansion .

A maid.

But now she is a slut. Bitch.

He threw breakfast on to the floor and asked her eat. Her eyes teared but she didn't let them out. Seeing her not moving , arjun was frustrated. He stood up, turned around and pulled her by her hair and pushed her face on to the floor.

He didn't let her go until she licked the floor clean. Her whole body was shivering and she couldn't even get away from him. She ate her sobs and cries with the food on the floor, which filled her stomach...with agony...

Arjun left her and went back to his study, he got a message from his PA that there were several construction blueprints that have been leaked and various companies have them.

Arjun was filled with rage and he ordered his PA and lawyer to file an act of palgiraism on the blue prints that have been used by other companies....

He was frustrated after a hectic 2hours of dealing with the lawsuits.

He couldn't control his rage and went to lakshmi's room.

Lakshmi is crying silently in her room in a corner with the humiliation she had to face in her husband's hand.

She can't fight back knowing how much of temper he has....her struggle can make him cause her more pain and she knows this very well from the past experiences... What should she do now?

Her thoughts were interrupted by the door slamming harshly. She looked up to see her husband who was taking long steps towards her and held in her breath unable to move away in that small room. She looked around and scooted away more into the corner covering her head seeing his red eyes.

Arjun's rage knew no bounds. He barged into her room and saw her in the corner of the room.

Selling out all the blue prints to the others and here she is sitting like an innocent one! She has to pay for the losses. She has to pay very dearly to all the efforts of mine and my company that she has drained...

He held onto her hair and pulled her up and she groaned in pain raidaiting from her scalp. She tried to remove his hands but he tightened his hold more and her eyes teared more.

He pulled her holding her hair all along the corridors till his room and pushed her inside his dark room. He switched on the dim lights and looked at her body trying to scoot away.

Lakshmi was perplexed seeing him going into his closet...sparing no chance to escape , she stood up and was half way near the door when she heard the closet door shut. She halted on her steps with fear. She didn't dare to turn back and look at him.

She felt a sharp pain in her back and fell on to the floor. She felt as if her skin was peeled away. She felt another hit on her skin and crawled away from there . She raised her head and looked at the belt in arjun's hand. The pain became more intense with every single moment of hers.

He started coming towards her and she tried to move away, her back facing him...

He hit her again

The harsh sounds of the belt could be heard along with lakshmi's pleas and cries with pain.

She felt as if her back was burning and she couldn't take it anymore.

Arjun hit her with much force and he still couldn't quench his anger. He continued hitting her for half an hour and then threw the belt away looking at her now torn t-shirt with blood stains all over her back.

She didn't move nor her cries were heard.

She must have fainted. He thought and left the room, if he stays for another moment he knows for sure that he would kill her. He didn't want to give her death soo soon.

He will leave her for now.

Lakshmi woke up and tried to stand up but she fell down on to the floor as soon as she felt multiple stabs on her back. She held on to a table and looked down at her torn shirt straps which fell from her back soaked in blood.

She remembered everything and she looked around in his room trying to see if he is there. Seeing that the room is silent, and as she couldn't stand with the cruciating pain, she crawled out of the room bearing wait on her hands and pulling herself out of there.

She looked around the empty corridor and then made her way out of the room. She went to her room and lied down on the carpet, unable to move anymore...

How much should she bear ?

As soon as it was dinner time, arjun went down and looked around the dinning hall. He went to kitchen and nothing was prepared.

He went to her room and saw that it was empty. He took another step and felt something soft under his feet. He looked down and saw that he was standing on his wife's hand. He moved away and kicked her on her stomach.

His betrayers deserve it. He would never spare them. Not even if the god would ask him to.

Lakshmi groaned as soon as she felt a kick in her stomach. She felt as if today would be the end of her life but soon she felt another pain on her head.

He pulled her up with her hair and she looked up at his face which showed the hate that he is harbouring for her...

" I have given you much lineance, ha?" he asked looking at her face.

One thing she understood by seeing his pitch black shallow orbs...

He is back. The old Arjun.

Her tormentor .

He pushed her out of the room and she fell onto the floor crying out with pain. This too much for her frail unhealed body .

She came down behind him slowly and he went to dinning room. She heated the curries which she prepared for lunch and kept rice in the cooker. In the meanwhile, she leaned onto the cold slab, clutching her stomach and let her eyes close.

The dried blood was still there on her back and her clothes shattered.

As soon as she heard the ting sound of the cooker, she washed up her face and kept everything on the trolley. Her body started feeling numb but her back was painful.

She arranged everything on the table and arjun didn't spare her a look. She stood behind him and he threw rice onto the floor along with a spoon full of curry on top of it. He pulled her and pushed her onto the floor and she kept her face low , not eating it.

" my dog ain't hungry ha

It's okay.

You can go and sleep

But remember that you wouldn't be getting food for next 3 days " arjun said and lakshmi was more than happy to leave the place. She dosent care about food now. All she wants is to close her eyes and lay on her bed.

As soon as she left the dining room, arjun banged the table in frustration causing all the contents of the utensils to spill. He fisted his hands.

Sadness and Anger were again a part of him now.
