"What's going on?" Abby asked as I opened the door for her, Shane, Sebastian, and Sam.
"Not sure.. we gotta go to the wizards tower.." I walked past her, grabbing my sword and backpack and closing the door before leading them to the forests.
"What!? Do you have any idea how crazy that guy is?" Shane yelled.
"Rasmodius is not crazy, he just knows a lot more than any of us do.." I muttered.
"Wait wait, can you please explain why we're going over there?" Sam asked.
"Not sure.. he sent me a letter telling me it was urgent and that I need to bring you guys over"
The only time I've seen such urgency in letters was when I needed to pay my rent in my old apartment.
But yet it was like I could feel the panic in the letter..
"Are we sure it's not dangerous..?" Sebastian whispered.
"I trust him, he might be a little feared by the town but he's just as much as apart of it as everyone else"
We got to his tower and I knocked on his door.
"Y/n!?" The wizard yelled from inside.
"Yeah it's me"
He opened the door and ushered everybody inside.
"W-what's going on?" Sam asked as he looked around.
"Woah.. it's like an rpg in here.." Sebastian whispered to me.
Right.. they've never been in here..
"Stand over here! We gotta make this quick! Your in danger! Not just you but the entire town!" Rasmodius exclaimed.
"What!?" We all yelled, clearly panicking from the tone of his voice.
"Shush! Abby, you had that dream of another universe right!? Y/n the princess/mage, you the knight, Sam the warrior, Sebastian a wizard etc.?"
"H-how did you-"
"I know many things my child, anyhow, there's many universes out there and that is one, that universe is at least two months ahead from this one, and in that universe, your all gonna end up dead if we don't do something about it"
We stood speechless, jaws dropped, trying to speak but not being able to find the words.
"Universes connect, something two months from now will happen and we're all gonna suffer from it, now usually I wouldn't conspire against time and travel but we all have too much to live for right now.. the consequences will be harsh but It'll be worth it.." he sighed.
"Now, no time to chit chat, we'll be going back to a week before the deadline"
"D-dead line?" Sam yelled.
"Yes! Now!"
Rasmodius whispered words under his breath, unable to recognize what he was speaking the walls rocks had shook rapidly.

Potions and books were tossed off the shelves at the quaking of the tower.
"W-what's happening!?" Abby looked around in shock.
Everyone was yelling at this point.
"Y/n!" Sebastian yelled, gabbing my hand and pulling me into his arms before everything went white.
It was quiet.
A loud ringing in my ear.
What.. just..
"Y/n.."
Huh?
"Y/n!"
I woke up on the ground, Abby was shaking me awake.
We were in the tower, dressed up as if we were in a fantasy RPG.
"W-what.. what's happening..?" I sat up.
"We're apparently in another universe.." Sam shrugged.
"What?" I stood up slowly, feeling at my head for injuries.
"No time, drink this" he handed everyone a portion, it glew a white colour and I stared at it before downing it whole.
"How can you just drink something without hesitation?" Sebastian took the potion glass out from my hand and held onto my shoulder, making sure I was okay.
SHIT SHIT SHIT.
TOO CLOSE TOO CLOSE TOO CLOSE.
HES SO CLOSE WHAT THE FUC-
"Like I said, I trust Rasmodius, I'm fine see?" I smiled at him, moving my arms up and down to show that I was fine.
He sighed and hugged me.
Uh-
WHAT THE FUCK SIR I WILL HAVE A HEART ATTACK.
"Don't worry those potions are only so others in this dimension doesn't recognize you for being the midivil version" he explained.
"Now drink up, you'll be fine"
They did as he said and we stood chatting for a bit.
"Now, don't go pulling faces when you get out there, magic like the things I do is the norm here, so you'll definitely be looked at if you stare for too long" he explained pushing everyone to the door.
"Your not coming with us?" I looked back at him.
"I wish I could, but that's pushing my luck, you'll all be fine, just careful not to be recognized, come back to the tower if something goes wrong, it's invisible to others"
Rasmodius opened the door and immediately I turned to look back at Sebastian as I heard him laughing quietly.
"What?" I looked at him.
"What?" He looked back at me weirdly.
"Race ya! Whoever gets to town last buys lunch!" My voice came from outside.
My eyes darted to put the doors and I Sebastian and I run from either sides of the tower, jumping onto a broom and flying towards a town.
WAIT.
ME.
I DIDINT KNOW I WOULD SEE MYSELF THIS EARLIER HOLY-
"Come on guys!" Sam yelled.
I looked back at him, for once his mouth was shut.

"Y/n!" I looked back to Abby yelling and waving.
Seb and I went back to them and quickly darted off, fantasy me getting a head start.
"Dammit Sam!" Sebastian spat and flew off.
"Ah! Quickly! follow them!" Rasmodius yelled.
"How!?" I looked back at the purple haired man.
He snapped his fingers and suddenly we were in a town.
What just-
"Ha!" Beat you!" My voice came from behind us.
Everyone looked back to check on what was happening.
Ah this is getting so confusing..
"Sam held me back.. I would've won if he hadn't called" Sebastian crossed his arms, annoyed by her victory.
"Oh please, you just suck-"
Sebastian put Y/n in a headlock and pressed his knuckle on her head aggressively.
"Ah, ah, I'm sorry.. y-you won.. s-sorryy...." Y/n pleaded while she slowly gave up.
Sebastian let go and snickered to himself as
Y/n sighed at the lost hope.
"Man your so petty.." Y/n sighed.
WHAT THE HELL.
WHY AM I APOLOGIZING TO HIM?
"we should get food quickly and back to the cottage" Abby took Y/n's arm.
"How about Gus'?" Sam suggests.
'Gus' bar is also an inn, you can stay there for the week, I implanted the towns areas so you'll know where to go' Rasmodius' voice rang in my head.
"What the hell.." Shane took hold of his ears in confusion.
Everyone did.
"K,let's get there before them.." I suggested, we all nodded in agreement and ran towards the inn.
"Hello there, are you all new in town?" A man called from behind the counter.
He turned around and immediately I double taked as it was Gus.
'I put gold in all your pockets, you have tons so you'll have no trouble getting a room'
Thank yoba here to guide us...
"Yes, how much is a room?" I smiled at him.
"1500g a week"
I reached into my pocket and handed him some of the gold before he handed me a key which had the room number on it.
We went up the stairs and stepped into the room.
I crashed down on the bed and Sam payed down next to me, our legs dangling off the side.
Sebastian sat down by a desk.
Shane walked around the room admiring the furniture.
Abby was by the window that showed town square.
"Do we all have our phones?" Sam asked.
'I have them, if you try using them it'll be destroyed from here, remember.. your in a time where not a lot of technology existed'
'Well, I didint get to use my phone a lot anyways with farming.. I guess I can survive a week without.."
"WITHOUT ANIME, NO I CANT, RASMODIUS-" I sat up immediately.
'If you use your phone all that data will be erased Y/n' The stupid wizard scolded me.
"Hey look!" Abby pointed out the window.
Everyone went to go look.
Y/n, Abby, Sam, and Sebastian from this dimension was walking towards the inn.
"Y/n! Y/n!" Jas' voice called.
We all stared over at the purple haired little girl, she ran away from Shane who had previously been holding her hand as they walked together.
"Hey!" Other me smiled.
"How are you today Jas?" She stuck a flower behind the little girls hair.
Jas giggled.
I looked over to our Shane as he smiled and watched closely.
Other Shane and Jas walked away while the four went inside.
"Ah.. their having lunch" I muttered, stepping away from the window.
"Should we follow them?" Sebastian asked.
'Go have lunch, listen for any clues into what got them into the situation, even I simply do not know what their thinking.. Sebastian and Y/n are both related to magic, they've put too much of a barrier over their heads so I can't get into it..' the wizard sighed.
I sighed before we headed downstairs to the eating area.
In the back was the four ordering food from Emily.
Em passed by us and I smiled at her before taking our seats right behind the others table.
"You okay Seb?" Other Sam asked.
"Damn, are both of you okay?" Abby suddenly spoke.
"Yeah, what's up with the both of you" other Sam agreed with fantasy Abby.
I tapped Sebastians hand softly pointing my eyes to the other table to see what was up as he was facing their way.
Shane and Sam aswell sat on the other side.
"I don't know.. its like something just feels off.. nothing from here.. actually very far from here.." Y/n muttered.
I felt myself flinch at their conversation.
"And this is why I stayed away from magic, you feeling uneasy aswell Sebastian?" Sam asked.
There was silence.
Sebastian tapped my hand and pointed to other Seb with a nod.
Showing the fantasy Sebs actions.
I nodded and Emily came by to take our orders.
"We're going on another elite quest right?" Abby asked.
Oh?
"Yeah, that papers been on that board for who knows how long.. might aswell take it.." Y/n sighed.
"Then I guess it's the most dangerous, but we're strong! We can handle it!"
I face palmed at the fantasy blondes confidence.
Your gonna end up dead.
If that quest has something to do with it.. we gotta stop it somehow..

Apollyon's Curse
Within the pages of folklore and fantasy, tales of people who chase after the dream of eternity, of living forever, rarely find a happy ending. They are either struck by the grim truth of reality, give up, and return to mortality or face a ghastly realization of their wishes. The latter often the worse fate, as they come to realize, only far too late, that what they sacrificed was worth far more than the time they gained. Ultimately, the common thread in these stories is that “immortality is as much a curse as it is a blessing”. People either realize it early and give up or are doomed to inevitably face its consequences. In the world Enrich lives in, that saying does hold merit. Every pathway towards eternal life has shackles of its own. They bring those high above down to the ground, evening the playing field. It is thanks to these fundamental laws that ambitious mortals are able to defy the heavens and achieve immortality themselves. The variety of methods result in each of these bindings varying in intensity and degree of freedom. Enrich’s path doesn't break this trend. Though, after what he did to himself, most wouldn’t even consider him a living thing anymore. On the day of his ascension, a world’s worth of souls were melted and recast. On that day, the human’s path had reached its conclusion, recast into Apollyon. An artifact, a weapon, is eternal, after all. As for the curse? The payment will be made, as it must. So why not offload the curse to someone else? Mortals throw their lives away for all manner of petty reasons, noble or otherwise, especially in desperation. Eventually, someone will be willing to foot the bill. Most will if given the chance. The bait is far too tempting, after all. Power, status, knowledge. All at their fingertips. If only they say “yes”. And Apollyon is very willing to help any lost souls. If they give up everything in return, of course.

Soul Core Online
Soul Core Online was a game that few people were interested in until after it was released, due to its odd way of handling character growth but this soon changed as people started to realise just how different this game was. Unlike many of its predecessors the NPCs in Soul Core Online acted in a way that was indistinguishable from real people and the world felt alive because of this instead of the empty and sterile cities we had come to expect, even walking down the street could give you insights to how these people lived. In my case this was the world that I had always wanted to visit and I soon found myself embroiled in the constantly changing world that is Soul Core Online.
