《Sebastian Scenarios // stardew valley》Farmer and the frog 2

It was late in the evening, Y/n was sitting on their porch, a pastel green fluffy blanket given to them by Sebastian one year for secret Santa around their shoulders.
They watched as the sun disappeared in the distance until all that was left were stars and scattered clouds. The sky was a soft navy, the moon lighting the land like silk was dripping down from its pale grounds.
With a heavy sigh, Y/n couldn't help but think about Sebastian.
He would likely enjoy the view. Especially when it was appreciated with his greatest friend at his side. Y/n wondered if he was looking at the same sky as they were, wherever he stood. Worry flushed through them. They hoped Sebastian was safe.
They've called his number a million times and still, there was no answer.
It felt like a pit had dug itself deep into Y/n's chest, stabbing straight through their heart. And it mercilessly keeps going deeper and deeper. Until it's fully impaled their insides. Dragging past the barrier of skin that stops it from piercing through completely. Yet, even with all the pain, they felt. Y/n as well felt empty without Sebastian.
Like there was nothing left but a void. There was a moment in the past two days where Y/n had caught themself zoning out. Completely drowning their plant as they'd forgotten all about their morning chores and activities. Now, the plant seemed to be wilting a little more than the others. It was the work of their carelessness that was revived from the city. Just how much can Y/n return to their old self while he is gone?
And how long would it take to heal from it again?
Suddenly, a croak erupts from beside Y/n. They've zoned out again, and it only takes a second for them to realize tears were rushing down their cheeks.
Next to the farmer, the same frog from a couple of nights ago sat staring at them. He had something in his mouth, something glowing, something familiar.
"O-oh..." stammered Y/n. They quickly wipe the tears from their cheeks and reach out for the frog, letting him instantly hop in the palm of their hand. "It's you again." They laughed feebly.

The frog merely expands his throat with a croak, spitting out the object that was held in the line of his lips. The luminescent thing drops into Y/n's lap where the green blanket lay.
"My glow ring? You found it!"
Their face brightens up as they slip it back onto their bare finger, a newfound smile reaching their cheeks.
There are streaks from where their tears used to be, expression just as warm and powerful as their ring. "Thanks, little guy." Y/n sits him down on their lap.
It doesn't respond, only blinking with a nod of its head. "You know, you're kinda strange for a frog. Kinda like my friend Bastian-"
Y/n's breath hitched as they peered down at the small thing. He tilts his head, almost as if he was listening. "I'm talking to a frog... uh...where's your home dude? You can't stay with me here forever."
The frog chirps in protest, jumping from their lap to hop towards the front door of Y/n's cabin. "Ah- hey! I just said..." they put a hand in front of him and push him away.
"Dude..."
Almost sadly, the frog lowers his head with disappointment. Y/n suddenly feels guilty, eyeing it as it stared at the floor. The scene felt somewhat familiar. Reminding Y/n of the times they scolded Sebastian for going into the mines by himself and getting himself hurt knowing he didn't have the weapons to fight off monsters that would dwell in the shadows he didn't care to check like his farmer friend did before the actual mingling began.
"You can't stay with me. I'm sorry but I just don't have the terrarium for you nor do I have the money for it."
Y/n with their hands on their hips, stares down at the frog, his head still hanging low.
"Tell you what, you can stay here for the night. But don't make too much of a mess and I'll let you out every morning so you can go back into the wild ok?"
His head shoots up, almost as if it understood the words that left their lips. It hops excitedly and Y/n snickers to herself, poking his head to give it a small pat.

They open the door, stepping aside to let it hop in.
How strange they felt, having so many animals to take care of. But somehow it felt endearing how many also came to them for care.
"You know, you remind me a lot of my best friend." They sigh. The frog stops in front of the couch and Y/n assists him up where Sebastian used to sit often when he came over. The frog sat on a pillow, croaking as if he was trying to tell her something.
Y/n knelt in front of it so they could speak at the same height.
"He's missing right now. I don't know where he is, maybe he went to chase his dreams in Zuzu. But even if he broke our promise for letting me know before he leaves, I sure do hope he's okay." Y/n stares at the ground as they speak, their head resting on their arms as they sat on her knees. The frog remains silent and watches them with big eyes.
'I assure you no promises were broken, I'm sorry for making you feel this way.'
Chirping weakly, Y/n turned to look at the strange frog once again.
In silence, they reach out and pet the frog delicately. His head leans against their touch and Y/n smiles. "You can keep me company for now, I'm sure Sebastian will contact me when he's ready."
Y/n stands as they pay their knees with an exhale. The frog study's closely, the way they stretch their hands over their head when they yawn, how they wipe away the dried tears on their cheeks, how they looked beneath the golden light of the fire. Croaking, the frog lays comfortably on the pillow and Y/n turns to him again.
"Night night, little guy."

"Hm?"
Rasmodius hums curiously when a Junimo leads him into the woods.
He is sure something was wrong. There was an accident in the valley and he had yet to find out what it was. When following the small thing, the junimo leads him to a phone. It's case was dark green with a phone strap, a brown rabbit at the end. It's remains were covered in dirt, evidence of abuse left on it as its screen protector was cracked severely.
Rasmodius analyzes the area, noticing a sharp boulder sitting nearby.
He tested its quality, the low-battery symbol popping up to let him know it was still in great shape of it wasn't for the cracks on the protector.
Putting it in his pocket, Rasmodius hums and raises an eyebrow before putting it in his pocket and returning to his tower when the Junimo disappeared, saying its goodbyes as its job was done.
He's seen this phone before. He would always catch it in his line of vision when Y/n had their friends come over to assist him in his magic.
But this guy was special. Nobody else had phone charms on their cases besides Y/n and that one guy. What what his name...
Thinking back to the time Y/n's friends had left, leaving the two of them together, they'd noticed one of them had left their phone. The dark green case with the rabbit phone charm. "Whose is it..?" Rasmodius can recall asking. He remembered they pulled their phone out to show off the matching charms, Y/n's a dark grey wolf with a lighter green phone case. "My best friends. Sebastian." They said with a smile so warm.
"Ah the prince." He remembered he said and Y/n's head tilted with confusion. "Pardon me?"
"In a past life he-"
Before he could continue his sentence, Rasmodius silenced himself. Y/n seemed to take the hint and nodded. Must've been some sort of spirit realm law he was about to break...
"So it's Sebastian's... isn't he missing currently..?" Rasmodius speaks out loud, not to anyone, just himself.
Just where could this boy have gone to?

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5.
