《Behind Closed Doors》It's Just a Little Training
Advertisement
Naruko POV
It's been a few weeks since I met Kurama. I didn't tell anyone about it.
Kurama then just popped up in my head when I left
the Hokage's office. He told me where to go, and what to do for my training. That's brings me to where I am now.
"Okie dokie!"
I was getting the hang of the simple flexibility training quite quickly. Every now and then Kurama would have me add a small weight to my legs and arms to make it harder for me to do flips and things, also to train my muscles. Nothing crazy heavy, just enough to propel me ahead when I would start going crazy with training.
"Ok! Ok! Calm down!"
It went on like that, but getting progressively more difficult as I got older. I was now almost eight and Kurama finally started teaching me a few small D-rank Jutsus. I was still happy to be doing something though. I would also be starting the academy in a few days.
I sighed. I understood where he was coming from. Over the past years I had learned much more about what happened to the "prodigy children" and it was never good.
It's now the first day of the academy, and honestly I'm not excited. Most of the teachers I've just been introduced to already hate me, and I already know half of everything they teach because Kura-sensei taught me all that first.
All I really have to look forward to in these few years are all the Jutsus Kura-sensei is going to teach me. Oh, and a team at the end of my three years in this practical hell.
'I'm not wrong though.'
'Yeah! Uno!"
It's finally the last year of this garbage place. We did get a new teacher though. Iruka-sensei is way nicer than anyone else in this academy.

Kura-sensei has taught me so much, and now that I'm 12 he said he will teach me some really cool stuff! Including how to control his chakra a bit, and some special stuff!
Today was the graduation exam, and I passed with flying colors Iruka-sensei decided to give me his headband and I thought it was really sweet of him, because I think of him a like a big brother maybe even a father, but I think Kurama might get a bit mad if I did.
Anyway, Kurama also said that Mizuki was giving off some suspicious vibes. Mizuki also looked absolutely pissed when I passed the test.
Anyway, it's time for me to sleep now.
-
I woke up, got ready, and ran out of my small apartment to the academy. I was honestly quite excited to see who my team would be. I didn't really talk to anyone during the academy, but I do know a lot about each student. The people I would probably like to be with are maybe Shikamaru and Choji, or Hinata and Shino. I just hope I don't get Sasuke, or a fan girl.
Well let's find out!

Northwoods Trapper
In the wild places of our planet, dark vestiges of our paranormal past yet cling to twisted life. In the past, the hunters and trappers of the world were tasked with removing such blights from society's fringes - legal assassins, enlisted to enforce the will of civilization against those unnatural, otherworldly hosts. Nowadays, we're not so lucky. With the idea of proper monster-hunting fading from public perception, the once-prestigious mantle is donned by amateurs, hobbyists, and self-taught warriors. It pays poorly, it's dangerous, and people would rather do something that gets them rich or famous or drowning in attention. Most often, new-age monster hunters are born from tragedy. They lack the tact, training, and funding of hunters passed. Instead, they have only their wits and brawn to carry them through. So it is with our hero. In the woods of the American Midwest, foul creatures lurk. Tabitha Varna, a young college drop-out scarred by her past, is determined to uproot them or die trying. Sometimes she hopes for both.[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
