The door gently creaked open as Alena stepped into the somewhat dark room. She was sure the sound she heard came from this room. Her eyes roamed around the large room , searching for something or someone.

She could see perfectly in the dark , thanks to her werewolf abilities. Allen carefully stepped into the room, walking slowly , her eyes roamed about the large room.

She had not gone far when her eyes landed on a figure, curled up on the floor. The whimpering sound she heard earlier was coming from the figure.

" Hello?" Alena called out, walking closer to the figure on the floor. " Excuse me? "

Alena stopped just above the figure who was that of a young girl. She carefully stooped down to get a better view of her.

" Are you okay?" Alena's soft voice asked as she reached out to turn the girl over.

" Oh selene!" A small gasp escaped her lips as she saw the state the girl was in. Her face was contorted with pain , sweat covering her whole forehead, as she gritted her teeth.

Alena's hand flew to the girl's forehead — it was burning hot.

" What's wrong?!" Alena asked in alarm, turning the girl over completely. The girl's eyes were closed and she was clutching her arm in some sort of pain.

" What are you doing?!" Raphael growled loudly at the Alpha.

" Stop this madness right now!!"

" This is none of your business Raph! " The Alpha growled back.

" Get your fucking mate away from here!" He snarled. He didn't want anyone's scent near the rogue girl.

" Don't you dare talk about my mate like that!!"

The two wolves stood there, baring their sharp fangs at each other. Raphael was about to say somethimg else when his mate's voice sounded in his head.

" Raph!! get the Alpha and come here quick!!" She yelled. Raphael frowned.

Why did she sound like that?

" Alpha I think something's wrong with the rogue." He frowned.

Lucious' anger suddenly dissipated as he heard what his beta has said. Within the blink of an eyes, Lucious had shifted into his human form and dashed for the room.

Raphael followed suit, both men running through the huge mess the Alpha had created. Within seconds, Lucious bursted into the room which was dark by now. He swiftly walked towards Alena , who was kneeling on the ground near a figure.

Lucious' heart was racing wildly in his chest as he approached them. He could now see the rogue girl gritting her teeth in pain — her hands clutched her arms tightly.

Lucious furrowed his eyes brows slightly.

Did he hurt her?

" What happened ?!" He heard Raphael ask.

" I think she's broken her arm..it's not healing at all" She said worriedly. " Her temperature is also high"

" Help me Raphael, let's take her to the healer quick!" Her voice half yelled.

A small frown appeared on the beta's face. Why would his mate ask him to help someone he despised?

He didn't move from his position till Alena turned and glared at him furiously.

" Raph!!" She yelled making him take a step as he grumbled. He really hated his mate's pregnancy moods at times.

Lucious didn't know why he let out a small growl when he saw Raphael take a step towards the rogue girl. Alena and Raphael simultaneously turned their heads to look at him.

" Who said she is allowed out of this room?! " Lucious' voice thundered making Alena frown her face.

" She needs help! we can't just leave her in here"

" She's not leaving this room!" Lucious said with finality. Alena clutched her tiny fists as she glared at him.

" I'm taking her to see the healer, no one's going to stop me, not even you!"

" It's your fault she's in this condition in th first place" Alena said angrily. Her pregnancy hormones were really affecting her mood at the moment.

She couldn't believe the Alpha would do such a thing to his mate.

How could he even think of hurting her?

Raphael saw his mate started to flare up ' Calm down Alena' He managed to get through to his angry mate.

' Shut up!' She barked making Raphael's wolf whine. He didn't like seeing his mate angry.

" I'm sorry Alpha, but I can't leave her here. You keep causing this Innocent girl so much pain when she's done nothing wrong. He brought her and held her captive here for no absolute reason when you very well knows she's innocent."

Yes! Alena knew the rogue didn't do anything to the Alpha like he had said when he first brought her to the pack. Her lovely mate tells her almost everything so she eventually got to know.

Lucious glared at his beta who smiled apologetically as he looked away in guilt. He really should learn to keep his mouth shut when ever he was with his love.

Alena was not done yet " You know? I can't even imagine how you would even think of hurting your own m..'

' Alena!!! ' Raphael voice boomed in her head making her stop midway. Alena fumed as she pursed her lips.

She stood up carefully looking at the Alpha wearily. She didn't know where she got this sudden courage from but she didn't care. Sh wasn't afraid either.

Probably because she knew she would obviously get away with it. Lucious might be a strict and ruthless Alpha, but he was still kind and nice to those around him.

" Raphael get the girl and let's go" Alena finally said.

' Are you kidding me right now?!' She heard him say as he groaned.

Alena didn't wait for anything else as she walked pass the Alpha, expecting her mate to follow suit.

Raphael glanced at the Alpha who stood there silently. When he saw him not say anything more, he moved to pick up the girl on the floor and followed his mate out.

Lucious was left standing there — speechless.
