The private elevator soon arrived the ground floor. Lucious didn't even wait for the door to open completely before bursting into the open garage. The pack's house ground floor which was used as a parking lot was filled with tons of cars. Lucious could feel his heart racing wildly as his eyes roamed across the large garage. He couldn't keep the thoughts of that woman out of his mind.

The faint spark and the tingling sensation he felt when he had touched her still lingered in his mind. His eyes darted across the huge parking lot, searching for the woman but he couldn't see her. Lucious was sure he caught a glimpse of her before she disappeared into the elevator.

" Where is she?" Lucious said through gritted teeth. Why is he suddenly feeling this restless. At the same time, the other elevator door opened and Raphael stepped out.

" Lucious!!" He called out rushing over to him " What happened?" Raphael scrunched his brows seeing the expression on his Alpha's face. Lucious' eyes were getting darker with each passing second.

" What happened ?" He repeated his question, louder this time. Lucious had just opened his mouth to reply when a mouthwatering scent hit him. The scent was very faint but he could feel his wolf Daryl started to stir and prance in his mind.

" Mate" He said.

What?

" Mate" Daryl repeated. Lucious didn't even stay to hear anymore, he dashed out of the pack house immediately with Raphael behind him.

The scent was a little stronger outside, the gentle night breeze helped in bringing the heavenly scent to him. He frowned a little, he could smell the sense was getting fainter and fainter with each passing minute.

Without a second thought, sounds of bones snapping could be heard. Lucious had lunged forward and shifted into his magnificent black wolf. Lucious' blue eyes had completely turned black by now.

Lucious let out a long howl before he dashed forward, his paws pounding hard on the ground. He had surrounded his entire pack, so there was only one way in and out.

Lucious could feel the wind hitting his fur hard as he ran. He was almost at the gate now.

A few guards seeing the fast approaching wolf quickly stood up in alert. They all ran forward, trying to block his way. They didn't know it was their Alpha as he was a bit far. Lucious' wolf growled.

" Get the fuck out of my way!!" He growled using his Alpha tone. At the same time, a sharp pain shot through all of the guards making their knees weaken as they clutched their head in pain.

They all bowed their heads, showing their necks realizing it was their Alpha. To wolves, showing one's neck meant a sign of total submission.

Lucious dashed past them, bursting out of his pack as he headed directly into the forest. He could hear the pounding of his paws on the forest floor as he traced the heavenly scent.

The wind ran through his black fur as he dodged trees , bushes and low branches. Lucious let out a satisfied howl as he skidded to a stop, dirt flying everywhere. He raised his head and inhaled the scent of the forest deeply. He could smell a faint sweet smell which made his wolf pur. Lucious could feel his wolf let out a howl but he didn't control it. Suddenly, Lucious felt his wolf taking complete control over their body. He howled once more before turning in the direction of the scent.

The Blood Moon pack was located at the center of the forest, so it was much easier for Haven to runaway. Haven's wolf dashed through the silent night.

Haven enjoyed having Kira around. Now she could just relax and allow Kira to tan over their body. Haven sank into the background enjoying Kira's exuberance as she ran. The air was crisp, holding the chill of the night as the wind blew gently on their silver fur. This made Haven pur in contention.

She was finally at peace. Finally she was free.

Her thoughts slowly drifted to the Alpha. Haven found herself wondering how he would react after finding out she had run away. Then she thought of Alena who would patiently be waiting for her to return and gist her about what happened at the Moon Ball. Haven didn't know where this little sadness came from.

" Do you miss him?" She heard Kira asked.

" What do you mean?" Haven frowned. " Why would I miss someone like him.

" I don't know about you, but I really think he's cute" Kira said nearly making Haven choke.

" What?!! Do you even know whom you're talking about?!" Haven wanted to laugh.

" Not really, I only got to meet him at the dance. He was the last guy we danced with, right?" Kira asked making Haven to frown.

" You were there?" She asked. " Yes, one's wolf appears as soon as they clock eighteen, remember?"

" So the guy we danced with was the Alpha??! " Haven asked in disbelief. How could she dance with that wicked man of a thing and happily enjoyed it?

Yes, Haven had already admitted to herself, dancing with that stranger had been the best part of her night. She didn't want to admit it, but she somehow loved the feeling of his hands on her waist.

And that tingling sensation she got when she touched him. She didn't know what that was.

" The spark felt amazing right?" Kira asked. Haven blushed in embarassment. She had totally forgotten Kira could hear her thoughts.

" It's okay Haven, I'm your wolf after all" Kira laughed making Haven relax. That was right, there was nothing to be ashamed of. Kira was her wolf.

" And besides, I enjoyed it too..I don't know why but I felt a connection with him" Kira admitted.

" What connection?" Haven asked curiously.

" The faint spark and the tingling sensation, those are the perks of the mate bond" She replied.

Haven wanted to burst into laughter. Mate bond? What sort of joke was that.

" That's not possible , that man can never be my mate Kira" Haven scoffed.

" Then explain the spark?"

Haven kept quiet. " I don't care about all of that. I don't want a mate and if he turns out to be my mate , I'll most definitely reject him" Haven said with finality.
