《Return • Todoroki ff》Chapter 1

In the office of Hitori Inc., a young woman stood by a window as someone knocked on the door and entered.
"Hitori-san it's time to head to the airport."The woman nodded as she walked out of the door to her car with her assistant following closely behind
When they reached the airport everyone started whispering as the woman was walking past.
"Is that Niko Hitori?"
"I think so. Why do you think she's here?"
"I heard she is returning to Japan to manage the chain store of her company."
"Before she came I have never heard of Hitori Inc., before she came but after she arrived Hitori Inc. shot through the charts and became one of the world's largest companies.
The people only stopped whispering when they no longer saw her in their sight.
"Kaito what time is our flight?"Niko asked as she sat down on a bench after she got finished all the necessary procedures.
"2pm."The male replied as he took a seat beside her and she hummed in reply as she closed her eyes.
"Kaito. Why is the media here?"I asked as I looked through the glass door while waiting for my luggage to arrive from the plane.
"They probably heard news about you coming back."
"Why would they even be interested in me...."I commented as I walked over to collect my luggage after I spotted it.
"Considering how you made Hitori Inc., skyrocket through the rankings they are probably wondering how you did it."Kaito replied as he took my luggage from me and I sighed in reply walking towards the glass door.
"Hitori-san how did you manage to let Hitori Inc., skyrocket through the rankings within 3years?"A reporter asked but I didn't reply I just continued walking.
"Hitori-san how long are you planning to stay in Japan?"Another asked.
I was bombarded with questions as I was making my way to the car that was sent to pick me up.

'Why did I choose such an early flight again..'I thought to myself as I saw the car in sight.
I quickly got into the car locking the door after I got in.
"Kaito. Remind me why I asked you to book an early flight."I said after I heard the door to the passenger's seat close.
"Your mother requested for you to have dinner with her."I sighed again.
"Wake me up once we're home."I replied and with that my eyes closed I almost immediately when into dream land.
"Hitori-san we are here."Kaito said as the Hitori family's estate came into his sight
His boss groaned in reply as she opened her eyes. She looked out of the window as she saw the familiar house.
When the car came to a stop she got off and went to the front door to press the doorbell. As the door opened Niko saw a woman in her late 20s.
"Niko you're finally back!!"The woman exclaimed as she enveloped Niko in a tight hug.
"Akira- let- go of me! I a-m suffo-cating!"Niko managed to squeeze out her words as her older sister, Hitori Akira hugged her so tight that she didn't have any space to breathe.
"Oh oh sorry I was so excited I haven't seen you in 3years and you have grown so much."Akira said as she turned Niko around and examined her figure.
"You have gotten skinnier since I last saw you."
"Can't help it I am busy with work.."Niko commented as she walked into the house taking off the heels she was wearing.
"Niko you're only 21years old you need to calm down with work. I know father asked you to inherit Hitori Inc., at the age of 18 but you're still young you need to eat more.."Akira said as she watched her younger sister change into her house slippers.
"Okok. Is Asahi back yet?"Niko questioned as she scanned around the house in search for her younger brother, Hitori Asahi.

"Asahi is still in school. He's working on a project with his friends."
The Hitori family consisted of Reo Hitori(55), Katsumi Hitori(50), Akira Hitori(29), Niko Hitori(21), Asahi Hitori(17).
"Niko is that you?"Another woman's voice was heard further in the house.
Niko navigated her way through the house to find the owner of the voice.
"Mum, I am back."Niko said as she stopped at the doorway to the kitchen where her mother, Hitori Katsumi was standing.
"Oh my.. My daughter is finally back.."Katsumi said as Niko was once again enveloped in a tight hug and this time she did not protest but hugged her back.
"Mum what are you cooking tonight?"Niko asked as she pulled away from the hug.
"Of course I am cooking all your favourite food. Your father is in the study room he has been waiting for you. You should go up to to the study room to look for him."Her mother commented as she went back to the stove where a pot of mushroom soup was cooking and Niko nodded in reply.
Niko made her way up to the study room, the place where she and her father usually met. She knocked on the door and waited for her father to ask her to come in.
"Come in."When I heard my father's voice I opened the door to the study room closing it after I was inside. There I saw my father, Reo Hitori sitting on his usual spot in the room behind his brown table that was scattered with documents.
"Niko you're back earlier than I expected."My father said as he lifted up from the document he was reading.
I didn't say anything as I took a seat in the chair in front of his desk.
"How is life in Korea?"
"Nothing much."
My conversations with my father was usually very dry. It usually started off with him asking him how my day was and awhile later the topic of the conversation would change from my life to either school or work.
"I expect you to be at work the day after tomorrow. You will be attending a banquet with me tomorrow night."I nodded in reply as he continued talking about work.
My conversation with my father was interrupted when a knock was heard.
"Niko, Reo it's time for dinner."My mum's voice was heard from the other side of the door.
I stood up and walked towards the door opening it and walking out to the dining table.
"Oh Niko you're back."A male's voice was heard from the dining table and I turned around to see Asahi and I nodded as I took a seat beside my sister.
"How's school?"I asked as I took some vegetables and placed it in my bowl.
"Being in the hero course of UA is tiring.."Asahi replied yawning as he grabbed a piece of chicken from the plate.
"You'll get used to it soon."I replied and gave him a small smile.
"Kaito left your luggage in your room and left to go back home."Akira said as she watched me eat my vegetables.
"I'll be in my room if anyone needs me."I said as I took my bowl and utensils to the kitchen and placed it in the dishwasher.
I walked up the stairs to my room which was the room furthest to the right. I opened the door to see my luggage by my blue bed bench. I sat down on the floor as I started to unpack my luggage.
While I was unpacking my jewelry I came across a silver heart necklace that had the initials NH.ST. I immediately recalled that the necklace was a gift from my first anniversary with my first love and boyfriend, Shoto Todoroki.
I sighed as I placed the necklace deep inside my jewellery box. Once I finished unpacking I took out my towel and pajamas from my closet and left for the bathroom.
