"Todoroki-san! Hitori-san!"
The pair turned around to meet the blue eyes of their old class representative, Iida Tenya.
"Oh its Iida-kun," Niko said as she signaled for him to join them at their table.
"It's been so long Hitori-san," Iida said as he took a seat beside Todoroki.
"I haven't seen you since our graduation. I heard you went overseas to inherit your family business?" Niko nodded in reply and took a sip from the cup of tea she ordered.
"I thought for sure you would become a hero," Iida replied as he looked through the menu.
"Perhaps I will come back to the hero industry, it's been awhile and I guess you could say that I crave some action in life," Niko said as she gave him a slight smile.
"Iida what brings you here?" Todoroki asked as he continued to slurp his cold soba.
"Oh I am on lunch break now after this I have to go back to patrol, it was just a coincidence that I stumbled along this street and thought it would be nice to reminisce the past."
After looking through the menu Iida raised his hands to call the waiter over and placed his order, a bowl of beef soup.
"So are the both of you coming back for the class reunion this friday?"
"Of course, Aizawa-sensei was insisting that we go back to talk to 1-A and show that he actually can teach," Todoroki said as he chuckled.
"What time will it be though? If it cuts into my work hours I'll have to inform my secretary that I will be absent from the office on that day," Niko asked.
"I think it'll be around late morning. Perhaps around 11am? I am not sure too I think Aizawa-sensei will tell us the timing by this Wednesday," Iida said and just as he finished the waiter served his beef soup and Iida thanked the waiter before eating his food.
The trio spent the rest of their time there catching up and soon enough lunch break was over and they had to return to work.
"Well I guess I'll see both of you this friday," Iida said as he walked out of the store and Niko nodded as a reply.
"Stay safe," Niko said as she waved as Iida walked off into the distant most likely looking for his sidekicks.
"Todoroki don't you have to get back to work?"
"My job is done for today."
"Oh I see...." Just then Niko's phone rang.
Niko fished out her phone from the pockets of her pencil skirt to answer the call.

"Hello?"
"Hitori-san? Are you alright?"
"Yes I am alright Kaito. Have u informed the suppliers about the delay of our meeting?"
"Yes I have if you're free now would you like to go meet them now?"
Niko glanced at her the clock on her phone, 3pm.
"I guess we still have plenty of time, Kaito inform the suppliers that we will be going over now. Actually never mind I'll just go over myself you get yourself home and get some rest."
"But Hitori-san I am fine."
"Stop protesting Kaito. You should get some rest you deserve it, while I am at it I'll give you a day off tomorrow as well. Come back to work on Wednesday."
"I- okay." After saying their goodbyes the secretary and boss ended their call.
"Such a nice boss you are, giving your secretary two days off after the attack."
"Kaito has worked for me since I inherited the company and hasn't taken a day off since then, I thought it'll be nice for him to take a day off."
"Anyways I have to head over to the warehouse now," Niko said as she walked off she realised that Todoroki was still following her.
"Any reason why you are still following me Todoroki?"
"My agency is in this area and are you going to walk to the warehouse? You could take my car."
"Mm the warehouse is quite far away.... I guess it won't hurt if I take your car."
"Great! I'll get the keys from the agency."
It wasn't a long walk to the agency, when they reached Niko waited outside as Todoroki went in to his office to get the car keys. It didn't take long for him to come down either.
"Thanks Todoroki. I'll give you the car tomorrow," Niko said as she took the keys from Todoroki and walked over to the parking lot outside the agency.
"No rush!" Todoroki replied as he watched Niko get into his car and drive off before walking back in to his agency.
"Yes yes I hope all of you will continue to do a great job," Niko said as she slightly bowed to the employees before getting into the car and driving back home.
"That took longer than I expected...." Niko muttered as she switched on the engine.
As Niko was driving she noticed the chain that was hanging from the car's rear-view mirror when she took a closer look when the car stopped in front of the traffic light she noticed that it was a chain that she had seen before but just couldn't remember where.

As she continued to drive she continued to think about the origins of the chain as well. Even after wrecking her brains many times she couldn't remember where the chain came from so she just ignored it and continued driving.
When she reached home she saw her brother opening the door, upon seeing her brother she wind the windows of the car down to call out to her brother to wait for her. When she finished parking her car she walked over to her brother and ruffled his hair before walking in.
"Niko isn't your car black in colour? Why did it suddenly become white and I don't remember your car being this brand," Asahi asked as he closed the door behind him.
"Oh while I was on my way to the warehouse to check the goods some woman called Suzuki Kenzo who attacked me out of nowhere and my car got damaged."
"You're not hurt are you?" Asahi asked as he frantically walked in circles around his sister to make sure she wasn't hurt.
"My my since when did my little brother care so much for his older sister," Niko said as she ruffled his hair again.
"Yes I have you just never noticed," Asahi said and pouted.
"How cute!" Niko said as she squeezed his cheeks.
"Oh and why are you home so late today?"
"I was at a friend's house doing our project for school."
"Mm okay. For being such a cute little brother I'll make you dinner today."
"Really?! You would never make me food no matter how much I begged you last time."
"If you don't want it it's fine by me you know," Niko stated as she walked in after changing her shoes.
"No no! I want it!" Asahi quickly protested.
"Okok I'll go make it meanwhile go do what you need to I'll call you when it's done."
"I want curry rice!" Asahi said before running up to his room.
Niko shook her head as she walked to her room to put down her bag and shower before going downstairs to make dinner for Asahi and herself.
After she came out of the shower she went downstairs to the kitchen to make curry rice and within an hour the dish was finished. Niko placed the plates of curry rice on the dining table before going upstairs to Asahi's room to call him.
"Knock knock. I am coming in," Niko announced as she opened the door to her brother's room.
Upon entering the room she saw her brother at his study desk doing his homework.
"Asahi, the curry rice is done," Niko said as she made her way over to where her brother was seated.
"I'll be down after I finish this last math problem," Asahi replied as he nibbled the top of his pen.
Niko knew immediately that Asahi was stuck. Asahi had this habit of nibbling the top of his pen or any other stationary that he had on hand when he was confused or nervous. Niko glanced at the piece of paper on the desk.
"Hmmm you're almost there Asahi. You just have to substitute this equation to the previous one to get the answer."
"Ohhhhh I get it thanks Niko," Asahi replied as he carried out what Niko had said. Niko nodded when she saw that Asahi got the correct answer.
"What a smart kid," Niko said as she ruffled his hair again.
"Nikooo stop ruffling my hair it's getting messy and don't pat my head anymore I need to grow taller."
"You're already so tall!"
"I need to be taller than dad! I still have about 4cm to go so don't interfere with my growth you get it," Asahi said as he stood up from his desk and walked out of the room with his sister behind him.
"Okok I get it," Niko replied as they walked down the stairs to the dining room.
As they were eating Niko asked, "Asahi do you know anything about getting a hero licence?"
"From what I heard from my sensei you have to take a test before you will be issued one."
"Do you know when the next test is?"
"I think it's in about two months. Why did you ask though? Do you want to be a hero?"
"I mean that's what I wanted to be when I was at your age it's not that late now is it," Niko questioned as she took a bite out of her curry rice.
"I mean you were in the hero course in UA I think you can pass the test easily if you were to go through some training within the two months."
"That's what I shall do then. Though I don't think I'll have enough time I still have things to settle at the store.."
"It's fine Niko I can help you after you come home! It'll be a good way to train too since the sports festival is coming up."
"I forgot that you were in the hero course for a second. I guess this could work too."
"Then it's settled! I'll help you train every night starting from tomorrow," Asahi said as he took the final bite from his curry rice and Niko nodded in reply.

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails. Largely gamelit, but later arcs could be called litrpg. Also schemes. A lot of schemes. I do love some good ol' fantasy politics and intrigue. Minimum Word Count a Week: TBA after Writathon Release Time(s): Daily for as long as I can/until the end of the Writathon. I also write The Deathseeker [Returning Dec 5th]

Soul's Curtain
The mortal land bordered by two worlds, one of immortals and the other of ceaselessness. As Illias Finn remains bound within the cell of an abandoned prison the curtain calls its chosen to descend into it's embrace. To be honest I will just write and upload whenever i feel like it, but if i find it getting relative success I can try write a bit more. This will just be a write, read then upload kind of thing for me while i try to flesh out more worldbuilding. I'm pretty novice when it comes to writing just a few years of secondary english under my belt but hardly any of that's creative. NGL, a lot of this world building is inspired by Tower of God or other fiction i have read, especially the tower-like setting.
