《naruto character one shots》Player Two [Deidara]

"Who's flat now, mother trucker!" You screeched triumphantly at your television. You had been playing Mario Kart Wii and and had received a mushroom allowing you to grow in size granting you the ability to run over other players; therefore you got payback on your computer opponents who had done the same to you many times before.
To say you're a video game addict would be an understatement. Your week, Pretty much every hour of every day consisted of endless rounds of Call of Duty, Super Mario, Modern Warfare, Zelda, Sims, and loads of other games you played while half naked under your makeshift fort.
Yes, you were too lazy to even put on clothes when you woke up in the morning, or after noon, or sometimes the occasional sleep all day and wake up at dinner time. Your usual attire consisted of one of your best friend's t-shirts and a pair of panties, which were of course covered by the length of the shirt.
You had graduated from highschool almost a year ago, and of course to you that meant video games 24/7 instead of the agonizing video games only 17/7. You would think that you'd finally take the initiative and do something with your life -like get a job, apply for college, go outside, but no. To you, no school means life with your game consoles.
Your friends, well friend and family are completely annoyed at your behavior. You rarely leave your room for meals, never wake up at a reasonable hour and can never even have a decent conversation with anybody without your eyes being off your tv or gameboy.
After endless attempts of your own mother trying to communicate with you and get you to leave the confines of your dark, sun light deprived bedroom, she began sending in your best friend Deidara. You and Dei had been friends since you two were ten years old and still in elementary school. You bonded over each other's love for explosions even though Deidara was a fan of them for artistic reasons while you only thought they were cool and dangerous. You and Dei share completely different perspectives but still fit together like a snug winter sweater. You were inseparable; well as insperable as two best friends can be when one has a head set on half communicating with their real life friend while listening to an opponent.

You were becoming sleep deprived and were desperately lacking vitamin D. All you ate was junk food and monster energy but there was never a doubt that you would end up crashing within the hour due to lack of, well everything. Your mom was getting worried, noticing that you only left your room to do the bare minimum tasks like get food, bathe, and use the bathroom; which you would hold for hours on end. She felt as though your video games were becoming detrimental to your health, so sending in Deidara was her attempt to hopefully distract you from your own little virtual world. You desperately needed a reality check; and unfortunately it would take a lot more than snapping fingers and saying: "Earth to {Name}."
Your fingers gripped the wheel as your thumb never loosened it's grasp on the gas. Biting your lip in anticipation, you tapped habitually tapped your foot in anxiousness as your vehicle flew by several others, resulting in your coming in first place by only a mere .2 seconds. Throwing your arms up triumphantly you replayed your victory dance; your own tradition for congratulating yourself on your accomplishment.
Settling down you took a swig of monster, blowing a strand of vibrant red hair out of your line of vision, before pondering what game you would play next.
You furrowed your eyebrows, noticing the shuffling outside your fortress. A mop of blonde hair shoved it's way in and a small smile twitched at the corner of your lips at the sight of your companion. Deidara was never much of a player but you admired how he's managed to continue being friends with you, even through your annoying video game addiction.
"{Name}, video games are ruining your life. We want you to come downstairs and enjoy your company. Your mom invited me for dinner and you'd be a real big asshole to make me eat alone with her." He complained in hopes of winning you over.
Getting back into your playing stance: legs crossed and back against your bed, you replied with "Video games may be ruining my life but at least I have two more," you said in a sing song voice, your eyes never leaving the screen of your television.
"Oi, {Name}," groaned Deidara whilst face palming. He hasn't even made eye contact with his best friend in months and he missed nothing more than to just gaze into your stormy blue eyes, and drink in the mischievousness behind them.

"Sorry, Dei. I got a date with Majora's Mask tonight." You apologized, getting in to game mode.
Deidara remembered your mother's desperation for her daughter to to be the same {Name} again. Talkative and funny and full of life; someone who loved to be around people. She begged him to do anything he could to get you off those games, so that way he could finally see and get to know the {Name} your mother sorrowfully drones about, talking about you as if you're gone forever.
Putting his hands on top of your shoulders, Deidara shook you violently, "{Name}, wake up. You're better than this. You have a life, I know you do. A real one, in the real world, un. Snap out of it, yeah." He begged desperately.
You shook him off, your expression remaining it's usual poker face, eyes glazed over from exhaustion and hardcore focus on your new task at hand.
Deidara smirked at his new found plan to distract you from your game. He wound his arms around your waist from behind, pulling you onto his lap; his face then peeked over your shoulder and he licked your cheek.
Your eyes only widened at his sudden actions, but soon you were drawn back into your world actually beginning to settle comfortably into Deidara's lap.
Deidara then buried his face into the crook of your neck, and the sensation of his silky hair and soft lips making contact with the skin made your hairs stand on end and the caused an impulse to bite your lips. You tried squirming out of his hold but you gave up trying due to his strong hold. By now you were becoming more aware and alert, especially with the way Deidara's hands were beginning to stroke their way under the confines of your shirt.
Your breathing became hitched and you were becoming more and more vulnerable to being distracted from your game. You kept incessantly licking and biting your lips, beginning to experience sexual tension due to your friend's surprising physical actions towards you.
Deidara had the urge to comply and before you knew it he had begun to suck and lightly nip at your neck. You quickly paused your game, the controller aimlessly falling out of your grasp. A small gasp left your lips; it's sound a mixture of pleasure and surprise.
"Dei- Deidara, what the hell do you think you're doing?" You questioned, fully aware and trying to hold back your moans.
"I just wanted to get you off that damn game, un." He replied with, before going back to leaving you endless love bites along your neck and newly exposed shoulder.
Deidara bit down on your weak spot earning a groan on your part. You quickly shuffled your position so you were now facing him, forehead to forehead. Deidara's hands were firmly pressed to the sides of your waist, while you wound your arms around his neck.
"That's better, babe. Now I get to see your beautiful eyes again, un." Deidara said, genuinely smiling and giving you his full attention.
"If you wanted me to play with you, all you had to do was ask," you replied sheepishly, calling to mind all the times you've ignored him.
Deidara pushed his lips to yours, planting a sweet kiss onto your plump lips. He could taste the caffeine on your tongue and it made his heart beat race. You settled into the kiss, letting your tongue slide over his in your battle for dominance. This time, you didn't even care to win. As you and your best friend were lip locked, hands roaming over each others' body; all you felt was regret for spending your life in front of your tv, interacting with fictional characters and working towards empty goals. While all this time, you had your own Link or your own Mario waiting to rescue you from the confines of your virtual world, which had its death grip on you for years.
Faces red and brows slick with sweat; you and Deidara pulled away, inhaling oxygen in obnoxious gasps.
Thinking it would be funny, you decided to ask your Prince Charming: "Dei, what do you think about being my Player Two?" whilst handing him a spare controller.
Running a hand through his tied back hair, his blue eyes glared into yours, piercing your soul.
To say the least, he was not amused.

In Pursuit of Bark's Finest
On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story. This story is entirely pre-written, and will have one chapter released per week. If you want to read it all ahead of schedule and get access to some premium-exclusive bonus content, the entire book is available for purchase; links to the appropriate storefront pages will be posted at the end of each chapter. This story is also being posted to Scribblehub.

Cinder Roots (Undergoing a Rewrite)
This novel is currently undergoing a major rewrite, as I noticed several plot points that needed to be revamped. I'll leave the chapters I've posted here to anyone curious to see how everything started, but I'll be posting the rewritten story as a new novel in the future. The characters will be the same, but the journey will be more understandable and hopefully, a lot more fun to read. -------- First, everything was fire, it killed, it consumed, and it gave him life. He was just a tree, born in the biggest forest that remained in the world, full of dryads, naiads, elves and treants, but he was alone. He couldn’t see. He couldn’t talk. Curiosity plagued him. He dreamed of wandering the land, but could only wonder what stood outside the reach of his roots. The tree was tired of waiting. He decided to not just dream, but to act. How could he survive against a invading empire, a grand conspiracy that threatened to shake the foundations of the world, and the raw danger that lies within these woods? With pure determination. Warning - There are quite a few POV changes in the first chapters, but that'll change after the introduction is done, as I'll be focusing on the MC perspective only.
