《naruto character one shots》Reward Me [Itachi Uchiha]

A groan of frustration escaped your lips as your hands wound knots at your scalp. As if that would somehow help you gain an understanding of the work you had at hand.
You were doing your math homework, the one and only school subject you managed to receive a 70 average in. Specifically you were only in Pre-Algebra. Yes, you always bowed in shame while walking to that class room, the room teachers have been desperately trying to explain to you the art of simple math problems including variables and decimals and so many other concepts you've struggled with wrapping your head around for years on end.
At the moment you were being tutored by your class mate, Sasuke's older brother, Itachi. Even though Sasuke graduated from your math class several years ago, his brother had been kind enough to offer you tutoring. But he proposed this two years ago.
I'm sure Itachi hadn't planned on taking on the job of being your part time math teacher for as long as it's been going on, but when your grades weren't getting better; going to the Uchiha house hold regularly for math tutoring became routine. Now it's not because Itachi is a terrible teacher. The elder brother possesses in depth knowledge in many subjects, and math particularly being his strength means that he knows what he's doing. You can just be very, what's the word, easily distracted. ADD and ADHD run in your family, and your mother and brother had been diagnosed with it, so focusing and staying still was not one of your strengths.
Your mind would be racing, thinking about anything but the subject on hand. Your continuous finger tapping and foot swinging completely distracted Itachi from his teaching and not to mention the hopeless crush you've developed on the boy didn't help you at all.
"Itachi, I'm hungry." You would complain whilst in the middle of a lesson.
Or "Itachi, I'm tired."
Or the oh-so-famous "Itachi, what's the point of learning all this crap?"
It had become obvious that you hated math. You hated it with a passion and there was no way Itachi could get around that. Only recently had he discovered the only method that remotely works, designed to catch the attention of immature students who can't take just passing an assignment as being enough fulfillment. And that method was rewarding.

If you got ten problems in a row, Itachi would reward you with candy or some other form of sweets. A quick power nap for completing a practice test and so on. But you soon became bored with his "lame" rewards and a piece of candy wasn't going to get you an A, so Itachi worked his butt off for you, desperately trying to discover new methods of getting you to concentrate. Or at least get you motivated enough to actually want to do well in math.
Staring blankly at the sheet of monotony in front of you, you furrowed your eyebrows, painfully scratching at the surface of your brain for any formula or instruction on how to do the set of problems before you. Nothing came to you. Every time you looked at the page, all you saw was an entirely new language; a jumble of letters, symbols, numbers: nonsense.
"What're you thinking?" Asked Itachi from his place across from you. His eyes stared into yours intensely, his chin resting on top of his folded hands.
'As patient as ever', you thought. That was Itachi. No matter what you could possibly do, he'd still remain cool, calm, and collected with that friendly smile painted across his lips and eyes bright, wide, and curious; waiting for what you had to say.
"I'm thinking that Satan is responsible for putting letters in math." You replied, begrudgingly huffing a strand of hair that crossed your path of vision.
Itachi face palmed, the movement causing his long, tied back to hair to come slightly undone.
He would always ask questions like that: "What're you thinking?" It was obvious he was referring to your thoughts on whatever math problem was at hand, but it's not like you could reply truthfully with "You." So you always went with some sarcastic, smart ass answer, making the task more frustrating than it had to be.
Recovering, Itachi then decided to put up with your current attitude, trying to deal with your hatred and confusion towards your homework.
"I wouldn't doubt it"- he began with a small smile "You think you're doing math homework, but your actually performing a satanic ritual."

A short laugh emitted from your lips while you adored your tutors patience and assertiveness.
"In all seriousness {Name}, haven't your learned anything in math?" His smooth, kind voice reached your ears, it's consistency like velvet.
"I've learned in math how many melons to buy!" You confidently remarked, referring to some ridiculous problem using melons as an example of inventory.
Itachi bit his lip, no comical reply coming to mind. By now, all he wanted was for you to pass, and still understand what you're doing, and he was willing to try anything to succeed in doing so.
You couldn't help but find the Uchiha before you incredibly sexy and the way he was staring at you, searching for something to say made your body burn up. Directing your eyes back to the page, you decided to try again. You could tell he was getting frustrated so you wanted to really try this time.
"Does x equal 5?" You questioned after a good five minutes of working out a problem in your head.
Itachi snapped out of his thoughts before registering what you had said. Checking the answer key he had in hand, he looked up at you, a half shocked-half proud smile took over his face and his eyes lit up.
"Correct." He confirmed in all seriousness.
Trying to hold down your pride, you decided to take a crack at another problem that was similar, but no less hard. To your surprise, you were correct.
"Aren't you going to reward me, Itachi?" You questioned, unintentionally sounding a bit seductive.
His gaze snapped in your direction as you licked your lips, childishly smirking at him, knowing that there's no going back now.
As you both stared back at each other, excitement spiking your adrenaline, you could feel the sexual tension, thick and palpable in the air like fog rolling in before a storm.
The elder Uchiha crossed his arms over his chest, getting more comfortable in his chair, a playful twinkle flickering in the corner of his eye.
"Mental Math: what's the square root of 64?" He asked, ignoring your question.
Your brain kicked in to over drive and your heart started beating fast. Mental Math time was when Itachi would verbally ask you a math question and you would have to answer in under 5 seconds.
"8." You cockily replied.
He uncrossed his arms, only slightly shifting so he was closer to you.
The questions didn't get any more intense, and that was when you realized he wanted you just as much as you wanted him.
"What is 9 x 9 plus 2 - 5?"
"78." You said with hesitation, and you silently shamed yourself for taking longer than five seconds to come to a conclusion.
"Don't worry about the time, you still got it right." He purred, lifting your chin with his finger.
His eyes flashed with lust and you felt nothing but satisfaction from his touch alone.
"It's time for your reward now," he breathed before leaning in.
Your hands wound their way around his neck, pulling him closer. His lips were wet and you licked them, tasting the sake flavored "water" he drank during sessions. Your mouths parted and you wasted no time in your little game of tug of war; fighting for dominance. Itachi's lips traveling down your jaw, trailing a path of kisses from your lips to the base of your neck. A small moan of pleasure escaped your lips as he let his linger there, teasing you.
Before he would continue, he pulled away, asking you the most nerviest question:
"What is 2x - 4 + 5?"

Children of Danu, People of Skill Book 1. (LitRPG/Gamelit)
Hi all, this is my first attempt at fiction ever. I'm sure it's awful, first attempts at new things usually are. Hopefully you can find something you like in it. I had a great deal of fun writing it. It's a basic Litrpg/Game, God sends you to a new world to do their bidding plot. I Know I did too much telling and not enough showing. I'm working on that. The underlying system is one haven't seen or done much. a full Point Buy system, like Gurps, Champions or the Hero system. After writing it a while, I see why folks don't do it. The record keeping is tedious. And once you start doing math in subsequent chapters, you can't go back and add more action, just because you dread redoing all the math. I've got about 80k words written in two "books" on the novel so far. I'm going to edit chapters and try to drop a couple a week till it's finished. Hopefully that will work for folks. I need to punch up the amount of action. I'll be working on that as well. Thanks, Cal-P.S> The cover art is one of the two CIrce Paintings By Waterhouse.

This Fog adds those unfortunate enough to be caught within it into the legions of Vacant roaming the empty streets of the city: A creature that has seemingly lost all reasoning and sanity, to wander around the streets crying into the palms of their hands as they beg for help, to be freed from their condition.
