Standing infront of Hokage, Kakashi gave his report about the upgraded mission. Sarutobi suprised gave them A-rank mission pay, then they left to relax from the mission.
Sarutobi while going through the paperwork noticed that the documents infront of him containing innocent request for land increase, tax reduction, funds requests etc. These requests allthough innocent if put together was destroying the village's economy. He immediately tracked down the funds requests to the banks and asked the manager for complete information of those accounts. Few minutes later he was supplied by the information that the accounts were opened for 1 week at different intervals by different people, has soon has the money was received, it was withdrawn into storage scrolls and the account was closed.
Sarutobi now back in his office crossed checked the accountants with his citizens, no one matched, neither shinobi nor civilian.
Suprised about such a large amount being lost from the village. He thought about the village security and a person who can help with this problem. Only one person came to mind; Danzo.
He sent his Anbu for Danzo. While he was checking about the poor academy circulum and how to upgrade it.
