《Sanders Sides One Shots: Volume 1 [COMPLETED]》Your Words On My Wrist (Prinxiety)

Virgil tended to stare at the words, unsure how to feel about them. To him, they made his heart beat faster. However they also added a weight to his chest.
To him, it seemed impossible that he'd have a soulmate. Virgil didn't think he deserved one. His self esteem wasn't very high, and he suffered from severe anxiety.
He let out a long sigh as he covered the words with his sleeve. He heard the bell ring through his music, happy to be able to go home after a long day at school. He gathered his things and headed out the door after the mob of kids. He was walking down the hall, looking at his phone. Virgil didn't notice the person in front of him until he'd crashed into them.
Looking to see who it was, he recognized the face of the most popular kid in the theatre department, Roman. He knew of him, but had never talked to him. Virgil was the emo kid; people knew him, and a few people didn't mind him, but they didn't really talk to him. Apparently Roman was know for his Prince-like confidence, so Virgil just played along. "Excuse me your Majesty," he mumbled, not looking up to see his eyes widen as he tried to walk by him.
Tried to, because he slipped. Virgil tripped forward with a gasp. His eyes squeezed shut, expecting to hit the ground painfully. He instead felt himself land in a pair of strong arms. His eyes opened, finding himself in a dip position and looking up at the popular Prince.
He was smirking at him, leaving Virgil breathless and blushing. "Caught you my Dark Prince," he murmured softly.
Virgils breathing hitched. It couldn't be... he stole a glance at Roman's wrist. There, in a familiar messy looking font, not different of his own, were his exact words. His heart was racing and his head was reeling. When he helped Virgil back onto his feet, he held his arm.

"May I?" Roman asked, gesturing to his sleeve which covered his wrist. The blushing emo mess nodded a little, biting his lip as his sleeve was gently rolled up.
On his wrist, in spirally cursive, were the words: Caught you my Dark Prince.
Roman looked from the words to Virgil's eyes with a smile. He moved his hand to intertwine their fingers. They were soulmates... Virgil smiled breathlessly, looking between their hands and his face. Roman moved his other hand to gently hold his face, sending tingles through his skin. His thumb was gently resting on his lips and he leaned forward.
"Can I kiss you?" he asked quietly, looking into Virgil's eyes for permission. He nodded, his cheeks bright red under his white foundation as he looked down at Roman's lips.
The prince-like leaned in, closing the distance by capturing his lips in a soft kiss. They each melted into it, Virgil gently pulling him closer by the shirt. They broke apart, smiling.
"Soulmates huh?" Virgil said, looking up into his eyes. He hummed leaning in to brush his nose to his.
"I'm lucky," he muttered. Virgil gave him a questioning look. "You're such a good kisser."
With that, Roman pressed his lips to Virgil's once more earning a smile from his soulmate. Thank god I have your words on my wrist, he thought as he allowed himself to get lost in the feeling of kissing his soulmate. I get to do this for the rest of my life.

Shattered Realms - A Pathfinder/D&D game
Broke adventurers looking for a quick and easy paycheck are thrust together as circumstances around them get weirder and weirder. Authors note: This is an ongoing Pathfinder (DnD) game, which will inevitably contain references to other works due to the nature of nerds. Chapters will be random lengths, mostly as long as a game session and depending on how much I can embelish it. Also, some details may change retroactively to maintain consistency. I'm not going to write it as LitRPG, mostly because that's extra work. I'd rather the flow of the story not be interrupted by numbers. I am aiming for updates within a week or two of the game session, which will usually be weekly. Finally, there is a light swearing, gore and sexual references warning. I will update this warning if needed, but will also not write in anything that's too graphic or irrelevant to the story.
