"So, both of our dates...?"
"Yup! I ruined both of them!" Remus chirped. "I sabotaged the chocolates, I made all those people appear! Everything that went wrong was my fault!"
"Oh..." Janus murmured. "And all of that was so...?"
"So you could leave Roman." Remus nodded. "Because I love you, Janus. I love you way more than my brother could."
"I'm still finding it hard to process." Janus chuckled. "I mean, what makes me so special?"
"Well you're witty, and you're smart, and kind, and charming." Remus listed off, flushing slightly. "And you're just so perfect."
Janus blushed ferociously. "I-I'm not like that, really. You're making me out to be this amazing person--"
"You are an amazing person, Jan-Jan." Remus took Janus' hands in his. "You're the most amazing person."
"Remus..." Janus mumbled, getting lost in his eyes.
"I've never felt like this about anyone before." Remus told him. "And I know what I did was wrong, but I just couldn't stand the thought of you two together."
Remus sighed, smiling slightly. "It felt like a nightmare. I wanted nothing more than to kiss you, and hug you, and hold you." Remus shook his head. "But I couldn't, because you were with my brother."
His smile brightened. "But none of that matters now, because you're here with me." He released Janus' hands. "And that finally gives me the chance to say..."
Remus took a deep breath. He summoned a bouquet of sunflowers. They all died, except for one.
He held that one out to Janus. "Janus Sanders, I'm madly in love with you. Every second I'm not with you, it feels like I'm going to die!"
Janus stared wide eyed at Remus, face beet red. "I...don't know what to say."

"Then don't say anything." Remus told him, placing a hand on Janus' cheek. He leaned in.
And the next second, they were kissing.
It was different than before. When Janus was drunk, it felt more needy, desperate.
But now, it was gentle. Raw, passionate.
Remus pulled away. His eyes widened as he realized all at once,
Janus thought the exact same thing.
"We've done this before." He mumbled, furrowing his brow.
Remus' eyes widened. "What...?"
"We've kissed before." Janus murmured, backing away slightly. "When did we...?"
Janus' eyes suddenly enlarged, a horrified look taking over his features. "Oh my god!" He cried out.
"Shit."
"We--you and I--" Janus stammered, tears of disgust beginning to form. "You took advantage of me!"
"You were more than willing to reciprocate." Remus defended himself.
"Oh my god, I cheated on Roman!" Janus whispered, knees buckling. "No, no, no!"
"Hey, calm down." Remus told him, kneeling down in front of Janus. "It's okay."
"It is not okay!" Janus screamed, shoving Remus away. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
"What's wrong with me?!" Remus echoed. "I'm not the one who cheated!"
"You raped me." Janus hissed, tears spilling over his eyes. "I trusted you."
"That wasn't rape!" Remus shouted. "You gave me consent!"
"I was drunk!"
"Consent is consent, Janus. You can say I raped you all you want, it won't change the fact that we had a mutual agreement."
"Why didn't you stop me?!" Janus yelled. "You were completely sober!"
"I--"
"Just--stay away from me!" Janus cried, standing up. He sunk out, a look of betrayal in his eyes.
Remus scowled. "Fuck!" He exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air.

Remus appeared in his room, a frustrated look on his face.
He looked around, trying to find something to throw.
He decided on the lamp.
He threw it at the wall. It shattered on impact, breaking into dozens of pieces.
What next?
Next was some books on his shelf.
He didn't pay attention to the titles as he flung them at the wall.
Now what?
He went to grab a plant in his room.
Just as he was about to pick it up, he noticed something in the pot.
He picked it up.
It appeared to be a note.
Hey Remus, sorry for not listening to you earlier.
I hope you weren't looking for urgent advice, then I would feel more guilty than I already do. I'm just writing this to let you know that I'm always here for you. Feel free to talk to me about anything.
Love,
Janus
Remus stared at the note for a bit, a blank expression on his face.
If anyone asked, Remus would say that he didn't collapse into tears.
He didn't curl in on himself, slumping down to the floor.
He absolutely didn't.
---
Roman heard a knock at his door.
He opened it, and was immediately greeted by a pair of lips on his.
Janus pulled away. "It's you. It's always been you."
"What are you saying?" Roman asked, slightly dazed.
"I'm in love with you, Ro." Janus told him. "I could never leave you."
Roman's eyes widened. "But what about Remus?"
"Fuck Remus." Janus sneered. "I want you. I need you. I'm a fucked up person, Ro. I've done bad things, but you are the one thing that I've got going for me. I love you, Roman. I love you so much."
A relieved smile found its way to Roman's face. "I love you too."
Janus grabbed Roman by the collar, smashing their lips together once again.
