❝ spill no tears for me ❞

"Kenny, wake up!"
Kenny screamed as he sat up quickly. He looked around before spotting a giggling Sophie. The boy fell back onto the bed, putting a pillow over his face and groaning.
"Aww you love me," Sophie laughed as she brushed out her hair. "We've got a game today."
Kenny got up from the bed and headed back to his room as Julie walked out of the bathroom, dressed for the day. Julie helped Sophie pick out an outfit for their break before their game at three.
"Jeans or skirt?" Sophie asked as she held up the two articles of clothing.
"Those jeans with the butterfly shirt," Julie pointed to the pair of jeans Sophie was holding and a beige shirt with a butterfly on it.
Sophie thanked the blonde before heading into the bathroom to change and brush her teeth. When she walked back out, she put on her black belt and a silver chain on her pants. Her and Julie exited their room and headed down to the lobby and waited for Adam, Dwayne, and Connie.
"I can't wait to work with Dominic," Sophie sighed happily as she leaned her head against Julie's shoulder.
Julie sighed and nodded in agreement. The two began discussing what they thought their experiences would be like working with the guy as they waited. Eventually the two boys and Connie found their way to the lobby and to the other two, Connie being the last of them. As soon as she got to the group, Julie pulled her out the door and slightly away from the other three.
"Woah they seem excited for breakfast," Adam mumbled sarcastically.
Dwayne turned to Sophie as he asked, "Does that happen often?"

"Sometimes yeah. If there's a choice between me or one of them, they choose each other. Normally I have Kenny so it doesn't bother me. It doesn't matter though. I have you two," Sophie smiled as she pulled the two boys along the sidewalk.
The two boys shared a look before deciding to leave it be. They didn't want to upset her before a game. Even if it was hours before. At some point they three lost Julie and Connie when the two went into a completely different restaurant then what they had planned.
"I still really want to go to the place we had planned. I've heard they're really good," Dwayne said as they debated whether or not to follow Connie and Julie.
"Me too. Let's just go. They'll be fine," Adam said before the three continued on.
When they got to the restaurant, they were seated near the front. They softly chatted about the menu before hearing their names called by Kenny, Dean, and Fulton. The three boys walked over to their booth and waved at them.
"Hey guys," Dwayne smiled at the trio.
"You want to sit with us?" Adam asked as he looked over at the other two sitting down.
The others nodded and Dwayne switched sides to sit next to Adam. Sophie moved out of the booth and let Kenny take the inside and Dean sat on the other side of her. Fulton sat with Adam and Dwayne as the waiter came back over to the table.
"Oh we've got more guests. Fun! What can I get you all to drink?" The man smiled at the group.
After also eventually getting their order taken, the group broke into conversation. Sophie kept to herself for a bit before turning to Kenny who was sipping on his hot chocolate.

"You didn't come into my room last night because you were running from Dwayne were you?" Sophie asked softly as she stirred her own hot chocolate.
"Not exactly. I, uh, I mean we did prank Dwayne. But, uh, it happened again and I didn't know what to do," Kenny mumbled.
Sophie grabbed his pinky with hers and sadly smiled at him. He gave a tight lipped smile in return as their waiter returned with some of their group's food.
Eventually the group had to pay the bill so they could get back to the hotel in time to get ready for their game. On their walk back to the hotel, Julie and Connie rejoined the group, giggling. Sophie, who was sitting on Dean's shoulders per his request, sighed and looked over to Adam and Dwayne. Adam frowned when he looked up at her.

The fallen (?) hero and Aži Dahāka's soul fragment
I have to apologize.A certain real life problem that I thought I got rid of has caught up to me once again.I tried to continue writing, but my mind was not in the right track to do so and thus, as some people had said, the quality of the latest 2 chapters had turned from the usual "bad" to "worst". So, I reluctantly have to say that I will be away until I can sort things out.I can't say when, but I do intend to return to writing. I might lurk around to read other people's works though. I will be turning my attention to stories with "tragedy" and "despair". The five of us were summoned to this world from our clubroom two years ago to be made as heroes.Shouldn't forceful summoning like that be counted as kidnapping?Well, we chose to go with the heroes route. After harsh training and battles, not to mention all the killings, we finally defeated the demon lord. However, all those achievements literally became nothing, it wasn't just forgotten, it was erased to be totally nothing as even the written records were somehow being disposed of. I was too naive. Who would have thought that the side we have been fighting alongside with, the side we were fighting for, was the one to bring our demise? After I had to see everyone else turn into nothingness, somehow... I alone survived. Note: I will attempt to fix the grammar problem with the help of lieutenant colonel fletterman. This may delay the release of future chapter. Chapter 1 is fixed. Chapter 2 is fixed.

Berserker- Crank Wars
Nearly 500 years have passed since the so-called apocalypse where souls dominated their control over the human vessels and grew into fierce monsters. A small frail kid saved humanity from getting wiped out of the face of the earth through his strangely powerful and unique techniques and taught them to the humans that followed him. He became a legend and humans developed special powers called cranks from his teachings. Humans couldn't procreate anymore. A very few thousands of last generation humans that remained or stayed alive by becaming crankers now constitutes the only humanity left on the planet. And they should continue to keep levelling up their cranks by slaying monsters and siphoning their souls to stay immortal and most of them tend to form teams to increase their odds. Everything was wrist-slittingly boring like that until one of those teams went ahead and mistakenly awakened the legend kid from his deep, and sound slumber. --------- One Chapter @Everyday -------------------- Unfortunately, I don't own the cover. I found it on Pinterest. And edited it a little.

The Undying Magician
How would a true immortal with average talent in magic fare within a world where magic is everything? In the world of Aria, only a small fraction of the population are classified as magicians. These magicians are able to use magic through the manipulation of the mana they are born with and are the core of the military strength within every nation. However, one nation in particular uses magicians to an even higher extreme than the others. This nation is known as The Republic of Arcania. The largest power in Aria. Our story follows Nathan Fox as he graduates from high school and is sent to the Arcane Academy for his required military training as a magician before he eventually serves his ten year term in the military.Nathan has been a true immortal ever since he got a semi-magical disease that makes any damage done to his body instantly reverse itself, bringing him back to his top form on the day that he became an immortal. Ever since then, it has been impossible for Nathan to die.But there are worse things in the world than death. And if the power-hungry magicians of the world were to learn of Nathan's true immortality? Then he might just experience those things himself. What will happen to Nathan as he traverses life in the academy? Will his secret be found out?Or will he be able to safely make it through the four years of academy life with his secret intact? That has yet to be foretold. The beginning of the story starts out slow for what many Royal Road readers are used to and then speeds up after around chapter 20 or so. It is a school arc, so it is supposed to be slow. Most of the combat and action isn't seen until after these chapters, which you can view as an introduction to the world, the characters, and magic itself. Many of the reviews are outdated due to edits I've been making along the way through the story. Specifically some of the edits going over the world itself, including pointing out in the story some of the things a few of the reviewers missed when they wrote their reviews, along with fixing other things that were pointed out in the story from the reviews and comments. This book is also being edited as it's being written, so some small parts might change as I get suggestions from readers. I do not write harem or sexual content in my stories. Ever. Wandering Dungeon
Garrett finds himself reborn as a small crystal, a dungeon core. Why does he exist? How did he get here? His dungeon guide will have to work extra hard to make him a great dungeon, but how is Garrett suppose to become a great dungeon if he can't even create monsters? This story might sound like a standard dungeon core story and might be a little slow or awkwardly paced sometimes, (This is my first story that I'm seriously writing) but I promise it is a dungeon story unlike any others. Any and all comments and reviews are welcome. They will help me learn and become a better writer so I can provide a better and more well written story for you and others to enjoy.
