I jerk awake on the couch, Elizabeth is looking at me weirdly.

"Are you okay?" Her voice is laced with worry.

The nightmares have been keeping me up at night, I don't know why I am getting them again. They went away a long time ago.

"Yeah I'm fine." I lie.

She knows I'm lying but she does not say anything. She knows when I want to talk and when I don't, instead she just moves closer and rest her head on my shoulder. "So... when will I meet Blain? I mean you don't have a lot of friends to review him so I have to take the job." She laughs and look up at me.

I have always been jealous of her eyes even when she was little. They are the most beautiful eyes that I have ever seen. She used to be self consious about them, I never understood why.

"Do you want him to come over I can text him if you want?" I ask and she nodds against my shoulder.

It only took a couple of minutes before Blain knocks on my door and Elizabeth opens it. The look on his face is priceless. ""

"Is that how you greet a lady? Really Harper? You could do better than him." She says and looks back at me. I let out a snort.

I know she is kidding.

"" He stutter adorably.

"Hey, speak up man! I was kidding. I'm Elizabeth." She says and shakes his hand.

"" He smiles at her.

I leave the room before I get pushed out the door by Elizabeth because she needs to do her 'job.' Whatever that now means.
