Rollercoaster

"Rollercoaster is the main track on the mini-album. It's a song about reminiscing the first time you feel in love and how it felt like a rollercoaster. Not because there was a rollercoaster of feelings involved but because you felt the adrenaline and danger and thrill of being in love. I really like this track because even though I'm young, it makes me excited for love and it helps me clarify whether past feelings I've had on little childhood crushes were really ever love"

I like U

"I like U is the track that the mini-album is named after. So it's kinda the title track but just not the main track. It's also the first of three english songs in this mini album. It's a very mature song for me to be singing since it's about falling in love with the guy, who you were only in a friends-with-benefits relationship, and he doesn't feel the same way or want to continue your relationship after he find out about your feelings. Although the concept of the song is too old for me there are certain parts and lyrics I can relate to"

Wine

"Working with BTS' Suga Sunbaenim was a dream come true. He is so talented. My respect and admiration for him is endless. We basically sat down and had our meeting. There was me, Suga Sunbaenim, my manager, his manager, Changmo who features on the track with his manger, our main producer and lyricist and then Mark and Taeyong oppa. So there were 10 of us in this meeting just talking about what we wanted the song to be about, sound like, what message it should give etc. Then after talking for about 20 minutes, he went and sat by all the kit and in 10 minutes flat had the basis of the track done. Everyone instantly loved it and put their trust in him to go and work on the track however he wanted. It was done about 3 days later and then Mark and Taeyong worked on the lyrics and Changmo wrote his rap. So it was finished in a week of beginning it. Only a genius could get people to make such an outstanding song so fast."

Shadow

"Shadow is probably my favourite song on the whole album. Mainly because it's in English. I also play the guitar for the recording and wrote all the lyrics myself so it's on more of a personal level.I definitely had a lack of inspiration when presented with the track but once Jisung gave me some help, the ideas came flooding in. It is partly based on truth but partly not aswell. I would say it holds true emotions but a false story line."

[Hidden Track] Feelings

"This track i co-wrote with another member actually. You'd never guess who though. Try and guess by the time i'm done explaining. So he really related to many parts of the songs, which are obviously the parts he contributed to. It's more so he wrote it and i arranged it and filled in the missing parts. He always says that his favourite lines are 'cause I give my life for you, I give my life to you'. He said it really captured his emotions in the most simple way. He put a lot of effort into this song and I'm so grateful for that. I just wish he would've featured on it 'cause he has one of my favourite voices in the group. Okay, have you guessed which member it is yet? Drum roll please....
