"Oh y'all dating dating" Jai said
"No bitch. No we not" i replied
I just got done telling Jai about Sincere coming to my house last night as i walked to the store
"So what happened this morning when he woke up? What he say?" She asked
"He wasn't even there he probably realized where he was and had to get up outta there quick" i said
"Damn you think he remember any of that shit?" She asked
"Nah probably not he was high as fuck" i said
"How he even know where you live" She asked
"Shit ion know- wait he came with quan" i said
"oh" she said
"Well Kyrie bout to come over so ima get up with you later" she said
"he done with Sierra?" I asked
"No but I don't care fuck her. It's not my fault her nigga still wanna fuck with me" she said
I shook my head "Okay Jai talk to you later" i spoke before hanging up
I had finally reached the store, and rolled my eyes at all the niggas standing outside
A few of them tried to holla at me but i ignored them and walked in the store
I grabbed a blue Gatorade, a bag of hot Cheetos, some candy and went to the register
"Wassup tee i ain't see you inna good minute" the owner of the store Lucky said
"Nun. Chilling" i said with a shrug watching as he put my stuff in the bag
I passed him a 5 dollar bill and he ain't take it
"Here lucky" i said holding it out for him to take
"Keep it" he said
"Thanks" i said taking the bag "see you later" i told him as i walked out the store

"How the fuck- i was in there for 5 minutes literally" i mumbled looking at how dark it got since i been in the store
"Aye shordy! It's pretty dark out here don't you think. I could walk with you if you'd like" some man said walking up to me
He got extra close and i could smell alcohol on his breath
"Ew back up move!" I said pushing him and walking away fast af
As i was walking i felt someone following me i looked behind me to see if it was that man but i ain't see anyone
I walked faster and turned a corner then i looked behind me and seen someone in a black hoodie
I turned another corner and so did they. So i turned yet another corner and this motherfucker did too
At this point i got angry
I stopped walking and turned around "what the fuck you following me for?" I asked whoever this was
I seen them pull something silver out of their pocket but i couldn't tell what it was
They held it up and started charging at me then i figured it was a knife
I started running and they chased me
Eventually they caught my hair, threw me into a alley and held me by my throat with one hand and the knife in the other
"Get off me!" I screamed trying to fight them only for them to punch me in my face causing me to stumble back
"I will you kill right now if you don't shut the fuck up" a man spoke in a deep voice
I ain't gone lie i was a lil shook but i got to much pride to act pussy in a moment like this
"Die slow bitch" i said

He punched me again and i felt blood leaking from my nose and i started to get light headed
And then i felt another blow to my face but this one was the most powerful
I fell back and hit my head on the concrete
My vision got blurry but i could see him pulling his pants down
I tried to get up but he kicked me back down
Just as i was about to close my eyes a person came behind him and hit him in the head with something causing him to fall down he then started to punch him repeatedly
I blinked one time and watched as the second person pulled out a gun and pointed it at the guy who attempted to rape me
I felt the need to sleep so i closed my eyes and that was it.

The Good Crash: An Oral History of the Post-Scarcity Collapse
"Don't we all feel, deep down, that we deserve the apocalypse?" APRIL, 2028—Global capitalism has collapsed. America has sealed itself off from the outside world, and inside its borders, a revolution rages. All it took was one incredible little machine. That machine turned into two, then four, then eight... like a virus, the replicators spread. As a work of oral history, The Good Crash features over 50 interviews with key witnesses to the events of 2027. The text is rendered in the words used by the interviewees themselves, with light editing for clarity and concision. As such, the book contains language and themes that are not appropriate for children.By capturing the voices to the people at the very root of the revolution, journalist and historian R. Vondersnitch has traced the origins and aftermath of the replicators' rapid spread. Crucially, the book also includes perspectives and testimony from those who attempted to stop the spread of the reps. "Some of these are heroes, too, in their own ways," the author writes in the book's introductory note.

The Cyclical Nature of Time
A girl’s life ends unexpectedly early, or so it would seem. Instead of eternal nothingness, she wakes up in an empty valley with no clue how she got there. Taking her predicament in stride, she sets out to do something about it. Unfortunately for her, the first couple of people she meets aren’t much help. They claim they haven’t heard of electricity and dress as if they were on a break from their job at a Viking-themed amusement park. MC is a somewhat normal girl. She's pragmatic and not very angsty. The story is tagged with anti-hero, but to be clear, she is not a villain. She does good if she can, she just isn't morally motivated to do so. The story starts out smelling of fantasy but will eventually shift towards sci-fi. It contains some supernatural elements and has a strong lead, but it is not your usual power trip. Expect a story that takes its time, but not to the point where entire chapters are spent on mindless chit-chat. I’m not into that. This is my first serious attempt at writing and I've learnt a lot writing this. Unfortunately, that shows. Chapter 1-10 is slow and rather pointless. Things get better, but it is not until chapter 25 or so that I began understanding how to structure chapters and to make them support the larger story. I publish about 3000 words a week (every sunday) but I write about 10000 words a week. Sticking to that pace, which is easy, the last chapter will be out by July.
