Taehyung crumpled the piece of paper angrily and threw it back into the box where Jk put a red blanket and had it delivered to Jimin's home. He had picked the delivery when he went to get Jimin's things, since the Omega was staying with him from when they were discharged from the hospital.

He didn't have plans to show Jimin the letter or the gift or whatever nonsense Jk sent. How dare that rogue try to hit on his Omega.

Don't get Taehyung wrong, he's grateful to Jk for helping Jimin give birth to their pup but that didn't mean he would let JK pass his boundary.

Jimin and the pup returned from the hospital about a week after he gave birth and they were all living in Taehyung's house together for the time being. There was no way Jimin could take care of a newborn pup all alone, so after so many persuasion and arrangement, Jimin agreed to temporarily move back to Taehyung's house.

The Alpha also decided to stay permanently, after all things weren't going so well in Japan. And now that he had Jimin back, they were going to complete the mating process and probably have more pups and live happily ever after.

Well, Jimin didn't forgive him yet and they didn't really discuss anything yet but the Alpha was confident that Jimin wouldn't have any choice but to settle for him anyway.

The Omega had his mark boldly displayed on his neck, so Taehyung was happy that marking Jimin wasn't so bad after all.

Jimin loved him, had his mark and birthed his pup, so he had no other option but to stay with Taehyung for life.

The Alpha smirked at that thought.

"What do I do with this trash?" The alpha referred to Jk's gift.

"What is that?" Jimin walked in on Taehyung and peeped into the box.

"Oh,umm...just some old stuff". The Alpha lied and quickly closed the box.

"The courier service was here earlier, right?" Jimin asked suspiciously.

"Yeah, wrong address. So what brings your special presence to my room this morning?".

"Your son needs to be scented. Could you please do that so he'd sleep off?"

"Mum is watching him?"

"Yeah".

"She could watch him for some time. I need to talk to you. We need to talk".

"Now?"

"Please".

"I know what you want to say. I don't think we have so much to discuss. I can't say I have completely forgiven you but I believe we can sort things out with time".

"Do you mean, you'll stay?"

"I'm putting my son first. I don't want him away from his father. And I have your mark already. I'm not sure I have any option".

"Don't say it like that".

"Taehyung, let's just try to live together and respect each other. I think that would help us be good parents to Maya and Taemin".

"Jimin you don't know how much happiness you've brought to my life".

"Well, I wonder how much you'd bring to mine". Jimin turned around and walked out of the room.

Taehyung knew the truth that Jimin had an option. In fact, the omega had several options instead of settling for Taehyung. But Jimin didn't know how valuable he was. He didn't know he deserved so much more. Regardless of the mark on his neck or whether he already had a pup for another Alpha, Jimin didn't know that there were other amazing Alphas who would kill to have him.

Taehyung was going to make sure that Jimin never realized the truth. He'd keep the Omega under him and make him see no one else but him. Slowly but surely, he'd make Jimin need no one else but him.

Why?

Because he knew Jimin was a treasure. It took the Alpha a long time to realize that. He'd taken a close look at the Omega and he could swear there was no one in the world like Jimin.

He'd seen the way Jk looked at Jimin as if the omega was a goddess. He'd seen the way other Alphas drooled when the Omega passed. He'd seen how pretty, how sweet, good, different, amazing, everything great Jimin was.

And even though he still loved his late wife more that anyone else, he'd still keep Jimin.

Somehow, Taehyung had managed to win the Omega's love and trust again. A whole year after Taemin's birth, the mating process was complete, Jimin and Taehyung were officially mated and they had a 6 years old hyperactive girl who would present soon and a 1 year old son who wouldn't let anyone carry him except his granny.

Life wasn't so bad. Jimin was content with his family and he loved them dearly. The only annoying thing was that Taehyung still put his late wife above him. It was obvious that Taehyung still loved his dead mate. He still had her pictures all over their bedroom walls.

Jimin didn't want to sound insensitive by complaining so he just tried to live with it. He had to endure listening to the Alpha talk about his late wife for hours. He had to deal with staring at her pictures when they made love. The pictures stared right back as if he was doing something wrong. As if the Omega was sleeping with someone else's husband.

Apart from that, Taehyung was acting so obsessed with the Omega and it was the worst kind of obsession. He didn't let Jimin do anything except sit at home and take care of the kids. The Omega was not allowed to go out with friends. Not allowed to be on social media. Not allowed to work. Not allowed to speak with any Alpha. Not allowed to wear anything other than oversized dresses that reached his ankle. Not allowed to wear makeup.

If it was possible, Taehyung would prefer it if Jimin covered his face. Just to make sure no one else saw the omega's beauty.

But Jimin's beauty was beyond a pretty face. His heart was beautiful and that was enough to attract people effortlessly.

All those rules and not for once did Jimin object his Alpha's decision. Because he loved him.

I know you've been doing great with the pup. I'm so proud of you for everything you might have achieved by now. I know you're doing well in whatever job or business you got.

I still think about you everyday. I guess I'm too weak to handle my own feelings now. I guess I'm too stupid now because my heart keeps disobeying me. I told it to stop, I promise I did but it got worse. I'm so sorry.

I hope your career grows well. I hope your pup is healthy. I hope you are happy. I pray to the moon goddess everyday to give you the life you deserve and I know my prayers will be answered.

It's no problem if you don't reply . I just miss you a lot and I thought of writing again.

Jk dropped his pen and read the letter one more time with a smile on his face. He had promised himself not to write Jimin again but yeah, his heart was stubborn after all.

No, he didn't want to see Jimin or talk to him or be involved in his life. It was better to let the Omega focus on his life instead of telling him anything about love or relationship. It wasn't an easy thing to do but Jk didn't want to push it.

He'd remain a friend.

He'd stick to writing letters probably once in a year.

He'd remain someone Jimin knew at some point in his life.

He'd love from afar.
