I opened the door and we stepped outside. I seriously, really, chocolately wished we hadn't gone. Because just as we stepped outside we were....

We were attack by the balloons. Not any balloons, but water balloons. As soon as we stepped into the garden, we were drenched in water. A few feet away stood Chase, Alec, Jason and Ryan, all of them had water balloons in their hands.

Shrieking, we all ran away from them. Laughter was heard from the boys as they continued their mission in making us wet.

"I swear to God, Ryan. If you don't stop throwing, I'm going to cut your balls and feed them to the birds," Laura threat, but he only laughed and started throwing faster at her.

"Not going to work on me, Laura. I'm not scared of you," Ryan laughed.

We were still running, but no matter what we do, we were hit by a water balloon. I looked up to see Chase smirking at me and aiming the water balloons at me. He threw it at me. I tried to dodge it, but no such luck. It hit me, directly in face.

Smack.

Shit! It hurts. I closed my eyes and rubbed my face. It really hurts badly. I heard him laughing his ass off. I opened my eyes and glared at him while he placed his hands on his stomach, laughing harder.

"Serves you right for ruining Ryan's car," he said between his laugh. My glare hardened.

"You shouldn't have done that," I snapped and ran towards him. He sobered a little, but didn't stop the chuckles from escaping. As he saw me running towards him, he started running backward towards his house garden.

I ran as fast as can, but he was way too fast. I didn't give up and ran towards him. Since he was laughing, it was difficult for him to go faster, so I took that as my advantage.

I was about to hold his shoulder to push him down to the ground, but he was faster than me. He turned at the exact moment. His arm encircled around my waist as we both went down on the ground. My back hit the ground and he landed on top of me.

"Ow! Chase, get off me, you're heavy," I whined in pain. He didn't say anything. I looked up to meet his blue-grey eyes. Did I mention he had blue-grey eyes?

He was staring at me with an unreadable expression. His face blank, void of any emotion. My stomach tightened. What is he thinking? But my mind was somewhere else. I wanted to push him off me, but my mind won't cooperation with my hand.

He was lying on top of me with his one arm around my waist and the other hand on the side of my face, supporting his body from crushing into mine.

Suddenly, he started leaning forward. My breath caught in my throat. He looked in my eyes and then to my lips and again to my eyes. He was so close that his nose was almost touching mine.

My mind was screaming at me to push him away. Is he going to kiss me?

"Let me go." Suddenly our heated moment was broken my Laura. I couldn't have been more thankful to her. If it wasn't for her, I'm not sure what would have happened. We stood up and I took a step back from him, avoiding any eye contact. Because if I made any eye contact with him, I might grab him and kiss the hell out of him.

Damn. Control your hormones, Chloe.

I could feel his eyes burning hole through my head, but I refuse to look at him.

"Ryan, I swear to God. Let me go," Laura shouted again. I looked over at her to see Ryan had her over his shoulder like a sack of potato. I tried my best not to laugh, but a smile still broke my face. I dared and looked at Chase to see him still staring at me. Talk about awkwardness.

I saw Ashley and Jason, along with Leah and Alec laughing at them. I made my way towards them. I shook my head as Laura pounded her fist against Ryan back.

"Hurts like snake. Try again later," Ryan laughed and took her towards my house still carrying her. We heard some swearing going on.

We all laughed and followed them inside. I was walking inside, but felt a presence behind me. I was cold because of the water I was drenched in, but I felt a warm feeling coming from behind me which made my whole body shiver.

"Pink suits you. Wear more of it," Chase whispered in my ears from behind. Pink? Confused, I followed his glance. A shock gasp escaped my lips. I completely forgot that I had worn a white see through t-shirt and my pink bra that was on show now. Pink suits you? Shit.

I turned and covered his eyes with my hands. He chuckled and tried to prey my hands away.

"Damn it. Don't look," I said, blushing red from embarrassment.

He took hold of my wrist and removed it from his eyes. He kept his glance on my eyes this time.

"I already did," he said, smirking at me. He looked down once more before going inside. I blushed even more red if that was even possible. I ran to my room, not wanting anyone to see the show.

All the boys went to Chase's house to change as they were also soaked with water. After Ryan dropped Laura down, she ran towards the kitchen and took a bottle of water and emptied it over Ryan's head, making him wet too. While Alec and Jason were also soaked because of Leah and Ashley. As for Chase, well...you know..what happened. Let's not talk about it.

All the girls were in my room. I gave them clothes to change into. We didn't have a problem in size, as we all were almost the same and Ashley had her own clothes here. Laura was still furious because of what they did. But I was kind of expecting it. The worst thing that happened from all this, was my see through t-shirt.

After we all were done with changing, we decided to watch a movie at my place. Earlier, I got call from Mom telling me that they won't be coming home because of some work. I agreed as I already had company. We ordered food and got comfortable.

"No. I don't want to watch that movie."

"So? We are not watching scary movies."

"Why?"

"Because I said so."

"What makes you think, I'll listen to you?"

"This is Chloe's house. Let her decide."

Laura and Ryan looked me. I raised an eyebrow at them.

"I'm not answering. Watch anything you want. I don't mind," I said shrugging. Ryan smiled while Laura glared at me.

"Traitor," she muttered. I opened my mouth to ask what I did, but she cut me off. In fact, she didn't even let me speak. "Still we are not seeing any scary movie." She crossed her arms and looked away.

"Scary movie? Are we watching that?" Chase asked, entering the room. He seems nervous. Wait a second; is Chase Mason scared of scary movies?

"Yeah, I mean that's so cool," Ryan said, looking at Chase. He came and sat next to me on the couch, a little closer for my liking.

"Yeah." He hesitated. Oh! He definitely is scared. I smirked to myself.

"What do you guys think?" Ryan turned to Alec and Leah.

"Fine with anything," they said together and glanced at each other. Once their eyes met, they looked away. Wait, am I missing something here now?

I looked at Ashley and Jason. There were all lovey-dovey. Stealing glances at each other. Sharing a secretive smile. Woah! What in the world is going on?

I glanced at Chase to see that he was already looking at them. Guess I'm not the only one. I know he also noticed Alec and Leah's behavior. I was about to say something, but my phone rang. I checked the caller ID. Oh! Have to take it.

I excused myself from them and walked into the kitchen, Laura and Ryan were still arguing.

"Hey," I said cheerfully.

"Hey, baby sis," Liam said. "How are you?"

"We talked yesterday only. Is-is everything okay?" I asked a bit scared.

"Everything is fine. Don't worry. I just wanted to tell you that I'll be coming soon. I miss my baby girl," Liam said. I can imagine him pouting.

"Geez! Liam. I'm already 16. I'm a big girl," I said and rolled my eyes.

"Aww, but you're still my baby girl. Always am and always will be." I couldn't help but smile.

"Yeah, yeah," I said laughing. I heard him chuckle. "Well, I'm busy. My friends are here. We'll talk later?"

"Boys or girls?" He asked.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"Are they boys or girls?"

"Both?"

"Are you telling me or asking me, Chloe?" I can imagine him rolling his eyes.

"I'm telling, both."

"Why are boys at our place? Is anyone of them your boyfriend? Should I talk to Mom and Dad?" He asked, rapidly. "Damn, I'm going to kill whoever he is." He muttered to himself.

I rolled my eyes at his over protectiveness. Liam doesn't like when any guy comes near me. He even tried dropping his college, so that he can be here near me. I'm a big girl.

"Relax Liam. It's nothing like that. I don't want to risk any of their lives." I joked.

"Still be careful, Inno."

"Will do." I said, smiling.

"Bye."

"Bye." I said and hang up. I chuckled and made my way towards the living room, but stopped abruptly when I saw Chase standing at the door frame, looking all pissed.

"They have decided the movie. I came to call you," he said in irritation. What crawled up his ass and died? One second he was fine and the other second, he is all angry.

"Okay. Let's go," I said and began walking. When I was near him, he stopped me.

"I don't like Liam," he said. Again, before I open my mouth, he left. Why is nobody letting me say anything? This is so unfair? I have to figure out what has gotten Chase so angry. I can't understand him.

I left the kitchen and entered the living room. There was only one place left. And to my luck, it was next to Chase. Great, just great. I'm so happy. Please note the sarcasm.

I don't understand why doesn't he like Liam? Do they even know each other? That's not possible. Liam was not there on the vacation to New York.

"I don't like scary movies," Laura said, glaring at Ashley. Ashley smiled and batted her eyelashes.

"My pleasure."

Laura was about to get up and strangle her, but Ryan caught her.

"Don't worry. I'll protect you." Ryan smirked at her. Laura huffed and crossed her arms, throwing daggers at the TV.

I laughed. How cute. I glanced at Chase, he was looking kind of..nervous.

"Are you scared?" I whispered in his ears. He jumped, startled by my voice. Got you. All anger had vanished. I guess by whispering in his ears, he got scared. Oh my my..!

He glared at me and puffed his chest out, "I'm a man. I don't get scared. I'm not scared." I literally fainted when he said that. Damn that was so cute. I crawled closer to him and took both of his cheeks in my hand and pulled it, pinching in process. They are so soft.

"Aww, you're so cute," I said, looking at him in awe. He slapped my hands away, rubbing his cheeks as he glared at me, but amusement was dancing in them. Good, atleast he isn't angry.

The movie started and was half way done. We were watching 'it' movie. Whenever some scary part would come, Chase would let out a girly shriek, enough so that only I could hear and cover his face in my neck as I was sitting next to him.

He placed his arms around my waist and pulled me closer than I already was. Basically, I was sitting on his lap. His hands on my waist and his face buried in my neck. I would laugh whenever a scary part came on. Looking at Chase's face, the movie was starting to become a little funny. I didn't mind the position we were in. I was quite enjoying myself.

We were now at the end of the movie. I looked at Chase, who was now peeking at the TV through my neck. I smiled at his behavior. His blue-grey eyes so beautiful. I get lost in it whenever I see them. His perfect nose, strong jaws and his lips, red and soft.

He must have noticed my stare because he turned and looked at me, smirking. "Checking me out?" He whispered huskily.

I blushed and shook my head. "Of course n-not. W-why would I-I check you out?" I stuttered, mentally slapping myself. l looked away towards the screen. He gently took my chin and turned me to face him. He smiled at me.

"I don't mind," he said and I blushed more. Now, it was my turn to hide my face from him. He chuckled and tightened his arms around my waist.

"That's it. I'm not watching it anymore." Laura ran her hands through her hair. I quickly sat beside Chase, maintaining my distance so that no one asks me stupid question.

"But it's almost done," Ryan whined.

"Still." Laura glared at him. "We are going to watch Pitch Perfect. Chloe has the DVD. I'll go get it." She said. All the boys groaned. I stiffened a laugh.

We had already finished eating and now everyone was comfortably sitting and watching the movie that Laura suggested. It was 10 o'clock already, so we decided to stay at my place. My parents weren't home and there was no way I would stay alone. I wasn't scared of horror movies we watched earlier, but still.

We continued watching the next movie. Now my eyelids were becoming heavy with sleep. An arm wrapped around me and I leaned into the touch. I knew it was Chase's arm, but still didn't say anything and made myself comfortable in his arms. I leaned my head on his chest.

"Goodnight, Chloe." He whispered in my ears and kissed my forehead. I was already sleepy to say anything. I was happy. I wish I could sleep this way every day.

I woke up next morning with my faced pressed against a hard, but warm chest and an arm around me, keeping me safe. Confused, I looked around to see, Ashley and Jason sleeping together. Jason had kept Ashley close to him. Alec and Leah were on the couch beside me, cuddling. Surprisingly, Ryan and Laura were also snuggled up together. Wow!

Everything from last night came to my mind. I looked at Chase to see him sleeping peacefully. No line of worry on his forehead. I lifted my hand and placed it on his cheeks, caressing it with me thumb. I smiled as he leaned in my touch.

"What the hell is going on here?" An angry voiced boomed in the living room. Everyone quickly sat up straight including me and Chase and looked at source of voice. When I saw who it was, all the color drained from my face.

"Shit."
