often people say, trust actions

not words. but one day you

meet a person who matches

their words with actions. you

take the risk of trusting them.

what you didn't realize was

losing yourself was part of the

risk you took. day by day, you

give up parts of yourself to a

person who never needed those

parts of you. it had happened

involuntarily, masked under the

phrase of venus. how could you

have known that you were a

puzzle with all its pieces missing

and in ribbons.

and they come to a decision. you

were a burden to their stellar

little world. leaving you to find

shredded pieces that was

concealed from your eyes over

drops of bill and coo. and you

take months trying to collect

them. more months trying to

rearrange them back together,

trimming off parts that were too

awfully damaged. cheap tape

and glue coloured you into

a stained glass window.

but you knew you could never

be a victim of broken glass

again so you let people witness

the colourless you.
