David
Santa Carla had always been full of crime and things that weren't always as they seemed. David always drilled that into your head everytime he took you back home and picked you up. It was a safety tip he was always ready to push on you.
Only as time moved on, he started noticing a little odd details about you. Recently their had been a whole new pattern of murders that weren't by their hand and everytime the subject came up or people had talked about it, you didn't seem overly bothered about it. That was where he had the idea to linger around your home instead of riding back home. There was a curiosity that drove him to hover around in the shadows. You were hiding something, that much he suspected and the more he suspected it, the more angr- annoyed he was getting.
Just as he stuck a cigarette between his lips and brought the cheap lighter up to the tip, his eyes flickered to the back door. He head noise before the back porch light turned on and from there he could make out hooded figures, three of them exiting and wandering into the fairly secluded back yard. The first thought had been that you were in trouble and that was why he had almost broken cover.
The smell was disringuishable and reminiscent of the scents lingering from previous crime scenes. He dropped the lighter back into his pocket and shoved his cigarette behind his ear again as he dropped to a weightless squat in the tall trees. His supernatural sight followed one figure in particular, two had worn a dark red material whereas only one wore black.
His lip curled up. So there were the pests they had been trying to find. It was bad enough with their current eating habits but for others to draw more attention? Unforgivable.

David was tempted to leap down and solve the problem himself but he paused as a voice whispered, "Greetings sons and daughters of the moon. Tonight is a gracious night and one for celebration, we have doubled our numbers in other states and our leader is most proud." There were murmurs of satisfaction and David didn't even try to hide his rolling eyes.
"Tonight we celebrate." The last hooded figure lifted ther hood, revealing... you?
Okay. That was enough for tonight, David decided. He knew his limits and despite him being seconds from leaping down and tearing them all to shreds, he knew when it came to you that he couldn't just to that.
Instead he fled back to the cave and tried to work over how he was going to deal with it. He supposed the others could die and you could be spared... but how was that possible when he knew you didn't know that he knew your dirty little illegal secret. It was impressive you kept it from him this long but now that he knew, David was going to make sure you come out unscathed beforehe would even allow the slight tinge of annoyance to bear it's ugly head. The small bomb of you keeping this hidden from him was understandable but annoying that you lied. You didn't know he was a vampire and guessing from usual humans, the news would not go down smooth.
He laughed to himself in the temporary privacy of the cave, leaning back and staring at the cracks in the used to be ceiling. "What to do. What to do."
Dwayne sat on your bed, wating for you to return from the bathroom. It was the weekly date night and although he arrived early, he secretly enjoyed just being in your space. Dwayne prided himself in being respectful but as you occasionally talked through the small crack in the door, him humming every so often as his eyes scanned the room, he couldn't help but grow curious at your poorly hidden stash of books on the floor by your bed. His eyebrow quirked and he scanned the contents- at times doing a double take. Whilst you had never explicitly told or mentioned that you were religious, he couldn't help but want to know more. Shifting closer his fingers ghosted over the well read copies in a neat little pile.

Religion was okay in his book, as long as you didn't try to use it as a way to hurt him and as long as it doesn't involve your health. Still, the stuff you had there looked to be a little... not quite problematic but almost something he'd expect the old coot preaching in the corners to whomever to have.
Itnwas almost comical to him that you would read this stuff and he hoped that it was just a curiosity and not an actual belief. From what he read on the blurbs, it didn't seem to be the traditional religions he knew but one that was pretty far out there.
As soon as the door opened and you walked into the room, you both just kind of stare at eachother. Dwayne silently puts the book back and tries to get answers. If it was just curiosity it can be written off but if he suspects that maybe you do believe it and he did, Dwayne felt torn between outright asking and just dropping the subject until later.
"No I do believe in the practice. I don't think most people understand the true message X is trying to convey." You discussed, finishing your mascara.
"Perhaps."
Despite his willingness to drop it, you both knew that he would want to know more.

On Tilt [in progress]
Going on tilt is like falling in love: both make you foolish and should be avoided at all costs. *BROOKEI hate Dean Hollis.I tell myself that every day. And some days, I almost believe it. Some days, I sell myself on at least a solid dislike of who he is and what he stands for.Like his stupid charming smile. His stupid sculpted forearms. And his stupid addictive cologne that leaves me light in the head and weak in the knees. He's a vintage blend of infuriating and intoxicating, all in one deceptively handsome bottle.Let's not forget his notoriety for emotional hit-and-runs. Dean is a bad decision just waiting to happen. I would know.Been there, done that... Literally.*DEANI remember the first time I saw Brooke Maccabe. My first thought was, holy shit. That's the hottest girl I've ever seen. I was trying to think of a good pickup line when she walked up to our door and gave Brendan a hug.My next thought was, fuck my life. Because that dime? She was my best friend's baby sister. And she was sixteen.Verboten. Off-limits. The Demilitarized Zone. She may as well have had a blinking red neon sign over her head that read, 'Look but don't touch: Violation punishable by death'.Problem is, I really wanted to touch. And the even bigger problem is, nine years later, I did.*18+ for explicit adult content
