《Fade Away [Reapertale]》Chapter #8: Heathens/Carousel
Advertisement
Round and round like a horse on a carousel, we go,
Will I catch up to love? I could never tell, I know,
Chasing after you is like a fairytale, but I,
Feel like I'm glued on tight to this carousel
[Frisk POV]
They have been going at it for days. Helping each other train. Helping each other get stronger.
I sat with my back against the wall watching as they fight.
Attacks were going everywhere, they were both breathing heavy and had heavy sweat going down there face.
I let out a sigh and brought out my power.
Four buttons.
[Attack] [Act] [Item] [Mercy]
"You know you could reset this all now." A voice sat from my feet. I put my buttons away and looks down at my feet.
Flowey.
"You know I'm right. You know you want to kill everyone just once. You feel it in your body. You feel the pull to do evil. Come on...." Flowey said. A big smile spreads across his face. "Do it once for a friend."
I crossed my arms. "What are you planing Flowey?" I asked.
Flowey looks over at Sans and (Y/N). "Oh just something special for you all."
I looked over at Sans ans (Y/N) too. They were still fighting. They both looked really tired. I looked down at Flowey. "You know there not going to fall for it."
Flowey then looks up at me. "You don't know that." He said.
And he was right. I don't know them that good. I only know the show that they put on for everyone else. I only get to see what they want me to see. Underneath all that they could be the most evilest thing in the world.
'Just like you in a different timeline.' A voice said.

Chara.
I looked up and I was suddenly cast into a dark room. I started to walk around to see if anybody was there but nobody came.
'You do remember that timeline right?' Chara said again. This time the voice was not in my head it was all around me instead. Echoing. 'You loved it!'
'No I didn't' I yelled back at Chara voice.
'Don't lie to yourself.' I heard Chara say. A flash of light and Chara was standing in front of me. 'I know who you really are. I know what you really can do and I'm gonna use that to my advantage.' Chara took a step closer to me. 'I'll kill all your friends. I'll kill everyone you know. I'll do it and I'll make you watch. What will you do Frisk?' Chara said walking around me. 'Nothing right? Because your weak.' Chara stopped and pointed her synth at me. She smiled. 'To bad I can't do anything to you here.'
I steeped back. 'Stop this Chara!' I yelled at her with tears coming down my face. 'You know you don't want to do this!'
Chara took a step closer to me. 'Oh but your wrong. I do want to do this.' Chara said with a sinner smile.
I reached out to touch her and I was back in the training room. I was breathing heavey.
I looked up to find (Y/N) and Sans standing over me with a worried look.
"Are you okay?" (Y/N) asked me reaching a hand out for me. I grab onto her hand and stood up.
I put my hand to my forhead. "Just a little lightheaded is all."
"What happen Frisk? We heard you yell and came running over. We tried to wake you put nothing happen." Sans said. I looked over at him. Chara was going to kill him and there was nothing I could do to save him. I didn;t know how to fight. I didn't know anything.

I started to tear up again. I run over to Sans and hugged him. "I don't want to loss you guys." I said.
(Y/N) came over and hugged me too. "And you won't."
I loved these guys and I don't want to loss them. Not now. Not ever.
[Sans POV]
This is bad. Chara stronger then we all thought.
I looked down at Frisk in (Y/N) arms.
What had she said to her to get her so upset?
I let out a sigh looking at them.
(Y/N) was wripping away Frisk tears and trying to get her to smile.
I need to go talk to Asgore.
I went to his room and what I found was terrible.
"Asgore..." I mumble.

Blood Quest - A LitRPG
Leon's family has been diagnosed with a new type of incurable blood disease. It's an absolute death sentence and when it turns aggressive, you only have a few more years of painful life left to live. His mother has just begun the last years of the disease when a person supposedly comes back from death with supernatural abilities. He talks about a choice you get after death--get an extra chance to come back to life, or die. Even with Leon's diminishing life span, he won't consider the option of going there, until he meets another survivor who had the same goal as him and succeeded. Leon has a choice to make—die now for a chance to save his mother, or die in a few years, where the disease rapidly melts his muscles from his own body. He enters a game-like world, a sort of limbo, where his ultimate goal is to climb the tower of Katastroph before his mother's time runs out. There are a few problems with this though. The tower is almost impossible to beat, if you die you won't revive, and only three people in over twenty years have actually made it back. Leon has two years to climb the tower, with the help of the few people willing to try, while Ai, the tutorial guide, makes things harder for them. ***** The story starts pretty dark but goes onto a lighter tone. Then (more) dark again. Disclaimer: This story is an experimental project and I hope to get any and all feedback you can give me. Warning: First draft. Chapters tend to be between 3400-4100 words long (about 8-11 A4-pages). Mentioning it since I've seen it in other fictions :P Sometimes they're shorter, sometimes they're longer. ******************************** CHAPTER RELEASES UPDATE: As the first "book" in the series is done, I'm going to release coming chapters somewhat sporadically, and when Writathon ends, I'll probably go back to publishing one chapter per weekend. We'll just have to wait and see! I hope you enjoy the story! I really appreciate all comments and feedback, so if you have anything to say, feel free to voice it :) ************ [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

The Queen's Guard
Friedrich Schreiner is a proud gefreiter of the Queen's Guard, 2nd Company: the finest fighting infantry on the continent (barring the Temple Guard; but please don't bring that up). Service is honourable but, with the Empire on a peacetime footing, terribly boring. Affairs take a dramatic turn for the worse when a mysterious invader uses a forgotten and taboo magical means to breach the capital, plunging the nation into chaos and endangering the royal family. With events spiraling out of control, Friedrich is entrusted with a critical mission. Will hot lead, cold steel, and his determination be enough to see him through? The Queen's Guard is what I'm calling a black powder fantasy story: it's set in a loose equivalent of the early 18th century (plus or minus a few pieces I decided I wanted or didn't want). Magic exists, but not in a spell-slinging sort of way: it's Earth-shaking undertakings or minor enchantments forged in by master craftsmen, the grand working of a secretive cabal or a slight nudge to the course of a blow. I, the eternal optimist, have a full trilogy in mind. The first book is The Prince's Arquebusier, hence the cover and the title disagreeing! This is my shot at 2021's NaNoWriMo and RR Writathon! I've hitherto been terrible at writing long-form fiction, so this is an effort to break out of that by having some accountability in being supposed to post chapters regularly. Here's hoping it works! I have an outline, but not too much detail. I'll do my best to avoid continuity errors, doing anything glaringly stupid, or otherwise fluffing my lines, but I can't make any promises on that. Please do let me know any feedback! Always happy to improve. [participant in the Nov 2021 Royal Road Writathon challenge]

The Sorcerer's Apprentice
A world where magic must be hidden from mankind is a world where mages have no reason to exist. Zara was one of them--a young woman forced to spend her days in confinement, to lessen the risks of outsiders discovering the truth. She was not human. She was, as they say, a living embodiment of a thousand year old curse upon the Kingdom and humanity as a whole. And the only way to handle a curse is to get rid of it--which is precisely what the Kingdom had been doing for centuries--eliminating any being that contained even an ounce of enchanted blood. Zara has lived most of her life with the threat of death hanging over her head, though it never averted her heightening curiosity about magic, nor the abilities innate within her. And when a powerful, enigmatic Sorcerer comes to her with a proposition, Zara finally sees her chance to embrace the curse she was born with. It was a chance laced with precarity and destruction, but a chance nonetheless...

Silverscale Paradise (A Yandere Harem Adventure)
Warning: This story contains R18 content and depicts sexual acts. Hey there, Mark Gregory here! This is the story of how I got sucked into the world of a trashy Harem manga that only lasted 12 chapters. I read it while I was high the night before and only vaguely remember anything about it....so yeah. No foresight. Also, it appears I am a brokenly powerful character, possibly the secret end boss, that was hiding in plain sight the whole time. - That is to say, the "Quiet Prince" student in their class. My new name is Zeneff Silverscale...can you guess what I am? If you guessed overpowered godlike dragon, then you are correct! The problem is...I don't want to be evil...and I don't know enough about the story to follow along...so what do I do? The Answer: Whatever the Fuck I want. I will also be posting this story on Scribble Hub
