As time passed, Chanyeol and Baekhyun loved each other even more.
It sounded fictional, irrational, but it was true. They definitely loved coming back home every evening, only to meet each other, share hugs, kisses, and cuddles.
And life was even better after they adopted minhee, a 13 years old girl who was so kind and smart. She had hazelnut colored eyes, fair, porcelain skin along with rosy squishy cheeks. She was always happy and her smile reached to her adorable ears which resembled awfully to Chanyeol's.
She was smart enough to understand that she was adopted, and it was a relief to the couple. They didn't have to stress about telling her anything.
But of course, they fought and had misunderstandings; Baekhyun sometimes would get insecure and think that the taller didn't love him anymore, or that he's cheating on him. And the giant also got jealous when the smaller hangs out with his friends who are too close for his likings, which results to days without talking to each other.
But in the end, they would always miss each other and yearn for each other's touch and warmness; so whoever started a fight would apologize, and things would heat up, if you know what
.i mean
The smaller said, snuggling closer to his husband.
The giant answered, kissing his forhead.
That was when the taller knew something was wrong. He frowned in confusion and worry, getting suspicious at the petite's words.
He tried not to pressure the smaller, but he got him too worried to just shrug his words off. He could've just thought that it was one of the times when the smaller would start overthinking, but no, something was wrong.
The petite answered, laughing afterwards.
And that was when Chanyeol was sure something was wrong with his baby. He was lying.

He said, his tone showing how serious, stern and worried he was.
Chanyeol snapped, his eyes watering at how weak and close to tears his husband was.
The smaller snapped back, and the room turned silent in an instant.
Chanyeol was shocked to hear the news. He sat on the bed, his tears already making their way down his cheeks, and he felt his heart ache terribly.
The giant said, laughing his pain.
But then reality hit him like a train. Baekhyun was most likely going to die. He wasn't going to see him or touch him anymore. He started sobbing and shaking uncontrollably, before holding the petite in his robust arms tightly, hugging him like there was no tomorrow.
He finally asked when he calmed down himself and the petite.
He finished, staring at Chanyeol with teary eyes.
Both of them were wrapped in each other's arms, crying silently and praying that a certain person would stay, and not die.
An hour passed, and none of the men seemed to be able to get some sleep. They parted away from their embrace slightly, both of them staring at each other, as if wanting to register their facials in their brains, as if it's their last time seeing each other.
Chanyeol decided to comfort his lover, sooth his pain and show him his full support. He cupped his cheek with his rough hand gently, cleaning it from the tear stains. He smiled softly, before closing his eyes, and leaning in to capture the petite's lips with his own.
It was a gentle, passionate kiss that held so many emotions: one was showing his full love and support, and one showing his gratitude.
Baekhyun soon started shedding tears, but was comforted by the giant who hugged him tight whispering 'it's okay's and 'you'll be fine's. He placed multiple pecks on the top of his head, as he tried to maintain strong. That's how he should be im situations like these.

The giant said, hope flashing like thunder in his eyes.
They stared at each other, smiling.
Baekhyun felt as if everything was on his side. He felt that he was strong, and he could do anything.
He leaned in to place a kiss on the taller's forehead, caressing his cheek afterwards. He said sincerely, staring at the one he adored the most in pure affection and admiration.

His duty as a dhampir, his duty was clear, his fate sealed. But was it necessarily his fate? Could a sterile half breed such as himself, someone who did not exist in the human world, live anywhere in the world on the light? After a particularly nasty encounter with his Mentor, Heath is on the run. Set on not becoming the new guardian and knowing that decision has now marked him for death. The hunt is on and somewhere behind him is Joshua, the heir of his Master, and the thing that plagues his nightmare, his Mentor Karen.
