This isn't a tale of a vampire prince whisking a human away to another world where she will become his mate and they will rule the underworld together. My Vamps aren't cuddly teddy bears you would want to hug onto at night. They are more the kind that want to rip your heart out. What this tale IS a tale of, though, is forbidden love and the lengths one ruthless vampire will go to protect a girl whose blood will start a war. It's going to be gritty, dark, and packed full of chemistry, so buckle up because you are about to come to the dark side where things get surprisingly hot.

While you do not have to read the prologue, I do encourage it as it adds certain elements to the story that cannot be achieved through the POV of your main character, Tristan. That's right, the same voice you read in the blurb is the same vampire who is going to be narrating this story to you. So when I say you are about to come to the dark side, I mean you are about to get a glimpse inside the mind of a vampire who doesn't sparkle...You have been warned : )
