Both you and Benny have been dating for a week now but have kept your relationship status a secret for the moment. Benny was worried that the teasing he knew he was going to receive would drive you mad and running for the hills. He liked you, A LOT, and didn't want anything to ruin what you guys had formed. You, on the other hand, wanted to scream and shout about your new boyfriend to the world. Benny and you both decided that you were going to let the gang know.

"So how are you going to tell them?" You asked skipping to catch up to his fast-paced walking. Both you and Benny were heading to the sandlot, much earlier than any of the boys usually arrive.

"I'm not sure but," Benny stops now in the middle of the sandlot, "I know it will be today. I promise." he hugs you by the waist and pulls you in for a kiss. The kiss was passionate, more than usual and you melted right into it.

"WHAT THE HECK" You heard Ham yell

You and Benny pull apart and turn to look at the crowd of shocked boys.

"BENNY KISSED Y/n!!!" Squints continued.

You both were shocked but then all the boys started to cheer and run towards you and benny.

"I'm so happy for you guys" "Perfect couple indeed" "You go benny man" You heard the boys congratulate all around.

"I guess you don't have to plan how to tell them after all." you giggled

"I guess not" Benny laughed

"GUYS! HEY GUYS!" Smalls was shouting while running inside the sandlot

"Smalls my man where you've been!" Ham shouted, throwing his hands up.

"I had *wheeze wheeze* To tell you guys," Smalls said in between breaths.

"Spit it out smalls," Benny said, patting his back.

" Okay okay. I. Have. A. Girlfriend!!!"

'"WHO" everyone shouted in sync

"That would be me." Everyone turned and saw you wave bashfully at them

"Y/N!?" again everyone said in sync

"Yes! y/n is my new girlfriend" Smalls said proudly

The gang started cheering and clapping for both you and smalls.

You and Bertram luckily had the sandlot all to yourself since the rest of the boys decided that they were going to use this boiling day to go swimming. You took this opportunity to get Bertram to train you more on your baseball skills. After a good 40 minutes of you learning how to better catch and throw a ball, Bertram had a good idea to get closer to you. He wanted to teach you how to hit and ball with the bat.

"Okay so now hold the bat and when I throw it hit it like how I showed you." You nodded and swung the bat as the ball came and hit it but the ball did not go as far as you wanted it to. Here is my chance.

"Let me help you!" Bertram said running towards you and standing behind and reaching around you. He held your hands and you giggled.

"Are you sure this is for me Bertram, or are you benefiting from this."

"I guess I could use the extra practice." He smirks

You both ignore the lessons and lean in for a kiss.

"oooOoOOo" The gang all manages to see you and Bertram at the worst moment. '

"What! Why are y'all here!" You both pull apart and Bertram questions them.

"It's about rain to genius, they closed the pools down," Ham said

"Sorry, we interrupted you and your new girlfriend!" Squints teased

"C'Mon guys, let's be happy for them. WHHOO!" Benny cheered. The team joined.

Embarrassed, you knew how to shut them up. You kissed Bertram again.

"Gross! We get it y'all are cute but jeez get a room!" Kenny laughed

"C'mon guys! Can we stop sitting and messing around like some sissy's and start playing baseball like the men we are!" Ham shouted across the field to the boys who were distracted by mini wrestling and play fighting.

"You Ham, are no Man! Don't kid yourself!" Kenny laughed and mocked Ham.

"It's not what my Girl says! She thinks I'm all man."

"GIRL!" The gang all said in shock.

"You? A girl? Who?" Timmy said

"Yeah Yeah who?" said yeah-yeah.

"HellooOOo! That would be meee!" You shouted from the bleachers. The gang turned around and looked at you and back at Ham in disbelief. Ham puffed his chest with Pride.

"I wonder what they are talking about," Smalls says while staring at you and Timmy from the treehouse. The gang was all surprised when Timmy rolled up by the sandlot with a girl by his side.

"Maybe a cousin?" said Kenny

"Nah they don't look alike AT ALL!." Ham chimes in.

Do you know who she is, Tommy?" Benny asks also staring at the pair

"No idea." He shrugs

"Maybe just a random girl asking for directio- AHHH NOT A RANDOM GIRL NOT A RANDOM GIRL." Squints shouts

"What happened!" Bertram shouts, shoving his way to see what's going on.

"Yeah yeah let me see." yeah-yeah pushes through.

They are shocked at what they are seeing. They catch the moment in time to see you give Timmy a peck in the cheek.

"HIS GIRLFRIEND?" They all shout loud enough to make both your heads face them and see them spying from the treehouse. Well, his secret's out.

"IM SERIOUS KENNY YOU THROW ONE MORE HEATER AND I WILL KILL YOU!" Ham shouts at him from across the field. Everyone laughs.

"Im sorry man, I can't help myself. It's a gift from the man himself, I have to use it or else I think I'll lose it!" Kenny laughs looking at you sitting at the bleachers and giggling at the boy's conversation. You smile and wave and Kenny responds with a wink the gang didn't even notice.

"Okay here we go." Kenny states and throws the ball again making smalls miss and Ham catches it.

"KENNY!" Ham shouts. The gang bursts out laughing and Kenny just stares at you hoping that you would be impressed. You managed to gesture a clapping while trying to control your laughter.

"Ahhh he's trying to impress his little girlfrieeeend." Squints says

"oooOooOOo: The gang chimes in.

'Yeah so what I am trying to impress my girlfriend"

"y/n is your girlfriend?!" The gang shouts in sync

"Oh i didn't tell yall" Kenny chuckles while rubbing the back of his neck.

"My God! Where is the bastard!" Ham shouts in frustration. "We can't wait on him all day, I wanna play baseball and Squints said he will bring us the Balls."

"I don't know but if he does not come I swear i-" Yeah-yeah was cut off by seeing squints having his arm around a pretty girl.

"Sorry, I'm late guys! Me and my girl were just hanging out for a bit." Squint states with such pride and excitement in his face.

The gang's mouths were to the floor

"You have a girlfriend! Who is she!" Small questions.

"Meet my lovely girlfriend, y/n."

"Hello, i-I brought the baseballs which I had laying around in my house." You smiled shyly at them.

"YEAH!" They all get excited

"Welcome to the gang y/n" Ham states

Yeah-Yeah was acting differently lately. Apologizing if he bumped to roughly on someone. Saying "great job" Or "good work" instead of using his usual insults of "Loser" or "Play like a girl" the gang even said he was acting like A gentleman.

It was yeah-yeahs turn to hit the ball but squints wanted to hit too.

"Yeah yeah, go ahead quints i can wait."

"What! You're going to let him cut you? What wrong with you yeah-yeah?" Ham Yells.

"Nothing man, let him go first." Yeah-yeah shrugs

"You're going soft man what happened?" Benny questions.

"Well if you wanna know, i met a girl and well we are dating now."

"A girl!!!" Everyone shouts

"Man she made you a little softy." squints shrugs

"What's wrong with being a lil cute Softie?" You brush by the guys and stand by yeah-yeah's side and give him a quick peck on the cheek.

"Y/n!!!" The gang is shook

"AHHH that explains it!" small says

You and Phillips were walking towards the sandlot. He wanted to drop you off and spend time with you so for the past week or so you both made the small walk towards the sandlot. You did not go all the way to the sandlot, he only dropped you off across the street since you feared you two being caught by the gang and starting some sort of rumble fight.

"I'll be cool, I promise I won't start anything just as long as they don't," Phillips stated. He saw your face grow with worry and he softened up. "I'm just kidding Hun," He pulled you into his side by your waste, "Your friends are your friends and if you are cool with them then I'm cool with them." He kissed the top of your head. You giggled and hugged him, but you both did not notice that you were walking a little too close to the sandlot.

"Hey what are you doing with her! Back off man!" the gang came up pushing Philip off you. "What are you guys doing?!" You shouted standing between the gang and Phillips.

"We were worried about you, you didn't arrive early today and we assumed something was wrong and we were right!" Smalls said pointing at Phillips.

"Hey man, I was just dropping my GIRLFRIEND off."

"GIRLFRIEND?!" the gang screamed and all their mouths dropped.

"Y/n, is this true, this chump is lying right?" Benny said, still looking at Phillips aggressively.

You looked back and forth at the gang and Phillips, you took a deep breath and confessed, "Yes Phillips and I are a thing."

"What!" The gang said in shock.

"C'mon guys please, can you get along, For MEE!" You said going back to Philip's side and giving them your puppy eyes. It was always hard for them to resist you since they all saw you as a little sister. It almost did not work this time but their care for you mattered a lot.

"Okay okay, guys, Y/n Likes Phillips and well, we got to get along, For Y/n." Benny stated, facing the gang.

"For Y/n" they all groaned together.

"BUT If you HURT HER," Benny face Phillips again pointing his bat, the rest of the boys also punched their fists or cracked their knuckles, "be afraid be VERY afraid."

"Yeah yeah, you'll face all of us." Yeah-Yeah chimed in

"Okay okay Truce, besides y/n is my gal, I never want to hurt her." Phillips looked down at you with those lovey-dovey eyes.

"EWWW." the gang piped in

"Man lets go play ball" Kenny gagged and went to the sandlot.

You and Phillips laughed and went your separate ways
