《Fandom Imagines and Preferences V》Virginia Blackstone- Amsterdam (c)

Normally you wouldn't recognise a brunette American from across the road, but Ginny stood out like a sore thumb which was impressive with the rest of the tourists around her. You had to do a double take to figure out if you were imagining things, but you certainly couldn't deny that that was the woman you had met back in London. You were people watching from outside of a café, having just ordered a slice of cake and a cup of tea to keep you for the time being until you would be going out for dinner that night.
"Ginny!" You shouted across the street.
She looked around for the source of the shouting, probably assuming she wouldn't find anyone she knew in a foreign country. As soon as her eyes locked on yours, she offered you a gentle smile, crossing the street to reach you.
You knew that she was travelling through Europe but didn't know where exactly she was going, just following the instructions left by her deceased aunt. You had had a trip planned to Amsterdam for your work and it just happened to be when Ginny was there too. You had been given a lovely hotel room on the business account and all you needed to do was meet with a few clients but the rest of the time you were free to do what you wanted, dinner and breakfast being offered at your hotel under their payment. It was a pretty good deal and even better now that you had met with someone you knew.
"What are you doing here?" She smiled, clearly struggling under the weight of her rucksack.
"It's a business trip but I haven't got anything until later in the day, why don't you join me?" You offered.
She did as she was told, sitting down opposite you at the table.

"Peg send you here?" You asked.
She nodded her head.
"Where are you staying?"
Ginny scrunched up her nose. "It's far from a decent place but it'll do until I need to move on."
You took a sip of your tea. "Why don't you come and stay with me? There's only one bed but there's a large sofa you can sleep on if that sounds more appealing than your current predicament."
"Really?" She grinned. "That would be great. Are you sure? You barely even know me."
You shrugged your shoulders. "You're Peg's niece, I'd do anything for her."
Peg had been living with your neighbor Richard a while back and you had had the chance to get to know her. She was a lovely woman and her death was a tragic fate for someone so spirited, but you could only find solace in her life living on through her letters she had given to her niece.
"I really appreciate it," she smiled. "I feel so lost but honestly I feel as though I've found part of myself, I never knew I didn't have in following Peg's trail."
"I'm sure there is a lot more to find."

I'll be there long after your descendants have died. Let's say I'm old, shall we? Well, it doesn't show, because I certainly look something like 17. 'll have to trust me. Ah, ah! Let's start at the beginning: if the weird ideograms on this document make sense to you, then someone has taught you my mother tongue. Congratulations, I am dealing with a well educated individual! Where are you from? Is there anything interesting going on in your era? Maitbudi
Fermboi was a man of one ideal: make the weak strong. When his rebellion against the king proved futile, he was given another chance at life. This time, he sought to do nothing after realizing the hopelessness of it all. Aventina wanted to do nothing more than to follow her father’s footsteps. On a retaliation raid against her tribe’s enemies, her brothers perished. Spared by a leader of her enemies, she returned home to find herself the chief of her tribe. Bolahulag, half-civilized and half-barbarian, half-lowborn and half-royal. Raised in his mother’s civilized tent in a sea of barbaric shelters, Bolahulag was hesitant to follow his paternal way of life. After a battle between a civilized king and his father, Bolahulag was sent as hostage to learn the economy and military of the nation his father defeated. Derai knew nothing more than being an orphan, but when a merchant took her in, the world she thought impossible soon became a reality. Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.
