"You sure this is the right place?" Closely you followed on Moriarty's heels as she confidently and briskly paced up the steps to what she told you was Sherlock's apartment.
"I've been here enough times... besides, who's the genius here?" Her boots clacked up the final few steps as she approached the doors, it only took a few quick flicks of her wrist before she had managed to pick the locks and the two of you were inside.
"What are we looking for anyway?" As if it was her own abode, she strode through the first floor, weaving a path through the furniture. With delicate and nimble fingers, she shuffled through a pile of clothes that sat on the floor, flicking through the labels as if she had all the time in the world trespassing.
"No harm on just checking up on old friends sometimes, make sure he's behaving himself."
"Alright... two questions. Why did you bring me along? What's with checking the clothes." She chuckled and gracefully fell onto his sofa, gesturing for you to join her, assuring you that there was nothing to worry about being there.
"He's on a case don't worry. He won't be back for a while. It doesn't hurt to have a little bit of muscle just in case, and for the clothes, he isn't behaving himself."
"Aren't you worried about the cameras?" You nodded up to the corner of the room, where a single sentinel turned back and forth, scanning the room.
"No." She nodded, smiling towards the security. "I believe he suspects these little visits every so often. Oh, and also." She pointed towards three more, all tucked away in dark corners or behind books. "Yep." She noted your shocked expression. "Just follow me, I know the area." She stood up, her hands tucked in her pocket as she made her way to the kitchen.

"What are you going to do, make yourself a sandwich?" She perused the fridge and the cupboards, she seemed to take mental notes of everything in there.
"Me and Sherlock have an... interesting history. I'm moderately familiar with this place even without my, what some people would consider, stalker behaviour."
"And you wouldn't consider it stalkerish?" She signalled for the two of you to finally leave, helping herself out of the back entrance.
"Definitely not." She shook her head. "Okay fine, maybe a little but I'm sure if he was smart enough to figure out where I was he would do the same."

A Goblin's Blade (dropped)
He looked down the path, which was littered with many things. Things he found in abundance were such of violence, desire and gore while things he found in scarcity were such of love, friendship and glory. At the start of the path was a naive, green goblin while at the end of it... Well at the end of it stood him: the godslayer, the monster from the forest, the walking death... He had many names but none so that perfectly captured his image as well as the Mad King. Authors note: Edit: Trying to release a chapter per day, around 2-2.5k words each. An evolution story about a goblin. This is under lit-rpg but I'm focusing more on the plot/characters instead of the usual features of such stories such as the blue tables that take ages to make or the stat screens. In essence it's closer to high fantasy than lit-rpg. Much appreciated if you read the Prologue to see whether you like it or not. Cover image is "Evolution" taken from art done by WhoAmI01

THE TIME MACHINE (Completed)
The Time Machine is a science fiction novel by H. G. Wells, published in 1895 and written as a frame narrative. Wells is generally credited with the popularization of the concept of time travel by using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposely and selectively forwards or backward in time. The term "time machine", coined by Wells, is now almost universally used to refer to such a vehicle. The Time Machine has been adapted into three feature films of the same name, as well as two television versions, and a large number of comic book adaptations. It has also indirectly inspired many more works of fiction in many media productions.
