You helped return Lady Greer to her home at the French Court where you learnt that she was a lady in waiting to Queen Mary of Scotland. All were grateful for you saving her from the robbery and none were happier than the woman you saved herself. You assured her that she didn't need to thank you but you weren't going to deny that you enjoyed her company.
Your priority was to tend to your business in France but in every free moment that you had, you got to know Greer, becoming rather close with her in your time together. It was hard to not fall in love with her. She was everything you liked about a person and all you could think about was wanting her to feel the same way with you.
Having spent a while together whilst there, you finally built up the courage to ask her to walk the gardens with you, wanting to admit how you felt to her, but needing to be certain as to what you what you wanted to say.
You enjoyed the pleasant walk with her before you paused at a bench, sitting down together to take in the nice day and the beautiful scenery.
"The gardens were my favourite place when I first came here. They are just the most beautiful thing," she smiled fondly.
You shook your head. "Certainly not the most beautiful thing."
"Then what is?" She asked with a cocked eyebrow.
"The woman sat before me," you said, a surge of confidence hitting you.
Greer's cheeks became reddened as she averted her gaze.
"I would argue that your beauty is far beyond mine."
"Do not jest, my lady," you smiled. "Your beauty lies deep beyond your skin. I may have not known you for the longest time, but it certainly seems as though your heart is pure."

"As is your own," she commented.
You took a deep breath, knowing that there was no turning back from what you were going to ask.
"Please do not consider me too forward, Lady Greer," you said with a nervous laugh. "I would like to ask you a question as you are so dear to my heart."
She smiled, nodding her head.
"I would like your permission to court you. I am very fond of you; my lady and I would hope you feel the same."
Greer took hold of your hand, a beaming smile upon her face.
"I would love to, my brave knight."

Hattoran Chronicle
There is a hostile sky above me. Man will never conquer space. He may live in it, but he will never conquer it. The sky above is void, and very black, and very hostile. -- Joseph Kittinger A pair of extragalactic supersoldiers are betrayed and stranded in the Milky Way at the end of the 29th century, potentially shaking the balance of power within the galaxy, but there's far more going on than anyone realizes.
