Having to try and fix a radio was a hard-enough task when you lacked any advanced knowledge of engineering, but it was even worse when someone decided to annoy you to the best of your ability. Jasper was meant to be helping you fix the radio and had taken the role of handing you tools as and when you needed them, but it ended up with him doing whatever he could to amuse himself, mainly annoying you.

It was fiddly work and you needed to focus so that you didn't break the radio and leave your group without any form of communication. Seen as you were pretty uncertain as to how to work it anyway, you were struggling to not do more damage, but it became a more complex task when Jasper decided that waving a screwdriver in your face was his new entertainment. You tried your best to ignore him, knowing that if you acknowledged him it would likely make it worse, but your patience was becoming thin. You hoped that you would be able to stay silent until you needed the screwdriver, but your teeth became gritted and you lost any chance of being able to not snap at him.

"If you wave that thing in front of me again, I'll snap it," you said through your gritted teeth, glaring at him out of the corner of your eyes.

Jasper laughed, enjoying the annoyance he was causing you. There wasn't much entertainment within your small community so you had to get it where you could and seen as Monty was busy, Jasper was finding joy where he could even if it made you want to stab him.

"What good will breaking the screwdriver be?" He laughed. "It'll just be a hindrance to you."

You stopped what you were doing to glare at him properly, letting the anger in your eyes burn deep into his soul. "I didn't mean the screwdriver; I meant your arm."

His face paled, feeling your glare deep within him. He dropped the screwdriver back onto the table, taking a step back to make it clear that he wasn't going to be able to pick it up.

You smiled triumphantly, turning back to the radio, still with little idea of what to do but knowing you would be able to focus and the person who was there to help you might actually help you now.
